My Gift to Chrissy

I have been trying to find a way to tell Chrissy, from Love and Hip Hop, to have all the seats. She is so painfully insecure and threatened by any woman who even sniffs near Jim Jones, that it is ridiculous. It's clear that Jim loves her but who would want Chrissy as a wife? She's insecure, always fighting, and doesn't get along with the main players in his life. If she was really the one, she would easily merge into Jim Jones' life. She has an issue with Nancy Jones, Jim's mama, Yandy, Jim's manager, Kimbella, Juelz Santana's girl, and I'm sure everyone else. It irritates me that Jim feels the need to correct everyone that has a problem with Chrissy but fails to see the common thread in all that. Everyone has a problem with Chrissy and it's everyone else's fault. Jim, get a clue.
Here is a video of Chrissy trying to fight the Kardashians:

First of all, Chrissy, Jim is not hot. Maybe lukewarm, but he's never been hot. His last single was in 2008, yes four years ago. No one was checking for Jim before this show and people are barely checking for him.I could tell because he was crying over that $25,000 gig. Who is paying him to perform "Ballin'" and "Pop Champagne?" No one is paying him $25,000 for that. I think they meant $2,500.  No one wants Jim and the Kardashians certainly don't want a semi washed up rapper. Why does Chrissy want someone that she has to force to marry her after 7 years?

Dear Chrissy, if he hasn't figured out you're the one after two years, you're probably not the one. Chrissy is so miserable and she takes it out on everyone. She needs to have several seats and figure out why her life, and happiness, revolves around whether or not Jim Jones marries her.

Russel and Katy Divorce Already?

This is insanity. Not because I actually care about either one of them but because their marriage is ending so soon. My reaction was, "did they even try?" I've never been married but a year is nothing. They have been married 14 months and they're already divorcing. I guess Russel didn't want to take this into the new year. Yes, he filed on her.

The blogosphere was buzzing over the fact that Katy and Russel were without their wedding rings but no one thought much of it. Today, Russel Brand filed for divorce on the grounds of irreconcilable differences. Ahhh, the forever vague reason for filing. This is the reason why people shouldn't marry until at least a year.

I was just writing, in my personal book, that people who marry for love are fools. Why? Because they're not marrying for love, they're marrying for dopamine or infatuation. It is a bad idea to get married when you're giddy in love. People need to wait until the fairy tale wears off and they get into the mundaneness of day to day life. Once you get into the routine of responsibility, paying bills, not being able to have sex on demand, working late, children, etc, and you still want to be with that person, then do it. Too many people divorce because they can't handle day to day mundane life. You need to see them in all areas of their lives and then make the decision. Better luck next time.

2012 Vision Board

I got the idea for a dream/vision board out of Confidence is King by Susie Castillo, former Miss Teen USA, actress, model, spokeswoman, and TV host. She spoke about creating a board with visualizations of her deepest hopes, desires, and dreams. I immediately bought a foam board, pins, cut some pics, printed some sayings and made my dream board. I meant to attach a picture of mine to this post but I left my camera at home.

How to create a vision board:

There is no wrong way to have a vision board. Your desires don't have to be deep; they can be something as simple as a new pair of shoes or trying a new restaurant. A vision board is a very personal thing and every board will be different. The only rule is that everything on your vision board should have some value to you, your goals, plans, dreams, and desires.

Sections:
  1. financial- self explanatory anything having to do with finances, be it budgeting, investing, saving, etc.
  2. social- may be attending more events, meeting people, being a better friend, etc
  3. physical- may include seeing the doctor more in 2012, exercising, eating better etc
  4. intellectual- attending school, reading more, taking random classes
  5. emotional- can range from love, to self esteem, relationships, to better managing stress
  6. spiritual- reading holy text, praying daily, meditating, attending religious services
  7. personal-any goal that does not fall into one of the above categories. I have a dream house, dream car, winning an award, making the Ebony 150, traveling, I think traveling is my biggest section etc. These can be anything.
In addition to my sections, I have quotes, bible scriptures, and quotes by Thich Nhat Hanh. I also have random pics that have things I want to accomplish, become, or work on.

Tiana May Carter?

(bestweekever.tv)
Twitter was buzzing with the rumor that Beyonce gave birth to a baby girl and named her Tiana May Carter. I hope that's not true. Not the part about her giving birth but the part about her naming the baby Tiana May. That is the countriest name I have ever heard. Any name that has May in the middle is country. Yes, I said it. Take offense if you want to but you know I'm right. I thought the baby's name would be Brooklyn because Jay-Z has publicly said he wanted to name the baby Brooklyn. I actually like Brooklyn, not that my opinion matters but Beyonce, girl, if that's true I need you to do better.

Beyonce's rep has been mum on this story, so as of now it's just a rumor. As private as Beyonce and Jay-Z are, I'd be shocked if we saw the baby before its first birthday. I think one of Beyonce's friends or family will slip up and reveal details. Solange cursed out an interviewer for talking about Jay-Z, who she called her brother-in-law, and inadvertently confirmed Beyonce's marriage to Jay-Z and Kelly slipped up and confirmed the baby is a girl. Beyonce kept mum on the issue but Kelly Rowland is a reputable source, so keeping mum is futile at this point. If it's true, I hope mom and baby are doing well.

  • I have no idea why Gabe and Trina are still together. There seems like there is nothing there worth salvaging. Trina is over it and Gabe is cyber cheating and spilling all the Braxton tea to random broads. They need to let it go.
  • I'm glad they're kicking Towanda and Andre out. When the idea was first brought up a few episodes back, Andre made it clear that he had no intentions on leaving in the allotted time frame and would stay there until he was forced to leave and Towanda said nothing, as usual. I usually go in on Andre but today, I want to go in on Towanda. What is wrong with Towanda? I understand her dream of being an actress but chasing these unstable dreams when you're in your late 30's with two kids to raise,  is crazy. You chase these dreams when you are young with no responsibilities. Did Toni pay her in Monopoly money? Why doesn't she have enough money to rent a nice apartment? I just went on Craigslist and found this house for $600 http://atlanta.craigslist.org/wat/apa/2775258929.html. It's a two bedroom home, not apartment and includes all utilities. I wish I could find a decent house in Maryland for $600, you can barely find a decent apartment for $600. Or this $750 3 bedroom house with utilities, http://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/apa/2775258330.html. If I can find these cheap houses, I know Towanda can find something.  Towanda can't be wrapped too tight because she's in the hub of cheap, nice homes and if she can't afford one, she needs to get WEtv to shell out $600-$1000 a month for her to live. Her and Andre deserve each other because both of their elevators stop on the 5th floor. They need jobs because as people over 30, no one should be financially supporting them.
  • If I was Mama Braxton, Towanda is the last person I would let set me up on any date. I would kindly tell her to get her stuff together before she tries to set me up. She's house hopping with a man, who is almost 50 years old, neither of them have jobs and they have four kids. They're also separated. Towanda needs to get herself together. If Mama Braxton is okay with being single, let her be single. Singleness is not a disease that needs to be cured.
  • Whenever Tamar talks about Maryland, she pisses me off. I don't wanna go through the stats again but Maryland is not a hick state. Maryland is the richest state in the union, yes the richest, and I'd believe a salon would be more successful in Maryland than in Los Angeles. I hope Traci doesn't let Tamar bully her into doing some she really doesn't want to do.
  • Why would Towanda set her mother up with someone 40 years younger than her? He's a child to her. He's younger than her daughters. I can't think of any reason for a 27 year old to date someone in her 60's, with daughters older than him, except for the fact he's trying to use her for a come up. I doubt he genuinely likes her. I think he was trying to get on TV. Watch he's an aspiring singer, actor, or model.
  • If I was Traci, hell would freeze over sevenfold before I ever lived with Tamar. Who wants to live with someone who treats them like a child? I think Tamar has forgotten that Traci has a family whose lives are stationed in Maryland. She can't just make the decision to move on her own, that may cost her her marriage and family. Traci, don't let Tamar talk you into that.
  • Maybe I'm wrong, and I would help my sister out if she's ever in need, but Trina girl, Towanda and Andre are trying to take advantage of you. Gabe can see what the situation will be if they don't nip it in the bud. It will be two years later and Towanda will be sweeping floors at Tyler Perry's studio and Andre will be still pushing this book. It's a good idea to do this now while the relationship is still strong  because if they allow them to overstay their welcome, the relationship will definitely become strained.
  • When Gabe said, "I'm suprised they could throw a party considering they're still in our house," I laughed out loud. That was too funny. Gabe is right though. If you're throwing a party that costs upward of $1000-$5000, depending on how upscale it is, you could probably take that money and put a down payment on a place. Just saying.
  • I wanna punch Tamar. She made up the quarter game so she could tell her sisters about their lives? Really Tamar. No one wants to hear the opinion of a person who barely has their stuff together. The only people who seem to really have it together are Toni and Traci. Yes, Traci. Although they try to make Traci seem a bit off, she's in a stable marriage, with a stable job, and a strong family structure. Traci obviously has something together because she's doing well. Maybe Tamar wants to destroy Traci's life, not maliciously but maybe she can't stand the fact that Traci is okay and they need her to be below them.
  • Traci is a grown woman, she doesn't need Tamar's advice and I bet she doesn't want it. Who wants to hear their sisters criticizing them all the time. It's a self esteem killer and it makes you not want to be around your family. Who is Tamar to tell Traci to change her shoes? Obviously Traci picked the shoes because she liked them. This Tamar couldn't be my sister.
  • How did they expect this game to end? You have a game where you can tell people your opinion about their lives and you don't expect them to get mad? How does that work? No one wants to hear anyone else's opinion on their life and how they choose to live. Everyone needs to worry about themselves. I'm sure Traci felt like Tamar didn't take her concerns seriously, it seemed like she just brushed them off.
  • When Traci goes off, she sounds like the drunk aunt at the cookout.
  • Why isn't Andre at this dinner party? Is he home watching the kids?
  • They say the person who makes the gold makes the golden rules and isn't Gabe the only one making gold? Why did Trina move Towanda, Andre, and their kids in knowing that Gabe would have to work twice as hard to support twice as many people? That was very rude and inconsiderate. It's not like Towanda and Andre are working and they just fell on hard times, they're not working, eating up all the food, and being very inconsiderate when Gabe is trying to work. Why should he have to get an office when he pays for the house? Gabe should be able to work in his house in peace and not have to worry about children destroying it. Toni moved to get rid of Towanda and Andre and when she offered to let her come to LA, notice she didn't say anything about Andre,  Mama Braxton won't even entertain having them stay with her, you know Tamar won't have it, and Traci's husband probably wouldn't have it either; take that as a sign Trina. They're going to use you for everything and move on.
  • Traci and Tamar are in therapy and Tamar still isn't listening. Instead of saying "Traci, I hear you and I'm sorry if I made you feel like that," Tamar went into Tamar mode. "It's not my fault," "she's still bitter about that." No wonder Traci blows up because she feels like no one listens to her unless she's yelling. She was speaking calmly and rationally and Tamar still didn't hear her. Traci has to let things that are 20 years old go and Tamar needs to tone it down.
  • Tamar is a cartoon. She looks and acts like a cartoon. Why must she always be so animated?

Deiondra, Stay Out of Grown Folks Business!

If you haven't heard, Deion Sanders' oldest daughter, the one with the pictures, jumped on Twitter to defend her dad. Here is her rant, broken down and compressed:

First and for most I would like to apologize for what is about to happen. My dad is going to be very upset at me for he always takes the higher route. With that being said, sorry Daddy. Now my dad has been nothing but GREAT to Pilar, Her, nor her om has worked in over 11 years!! Normally I just sit back & watch all her lies and mess but its to where she’s getting personal.  #HowYoTopPriorityBeen YO MARRIAGE AND YO KIDS when u flying out of town to see other niggas…… Yeah We Know
#HowYouDidntKnow but all 5 of the kids was set down and explained WHAT WAS GOING ON? She just need to stop playing victim, when she really the problem. She stay tryna slander my daddy name, the same name that made her famous. #HowYouDidntKnow but according THE BLOGS this yo SECOND ATTORNEY cause u tryna fight a prenup #GoldDigginH*e All you had to do was be a supportive wife. Now you can go back to ‘catch1’ Johnny Mitchell or ‘catch 2’ Wesley Snipes…yeah we know
Maybe next time u will actually chase yo marriage and not yo dream of fame ‘Drops MIC* WALKS OFF

If you couldn't get through that, she's basically saying that Pilar is an ungrateful golddigger, who shuns Deion's other kids, that she was a cheater, and that she puts her career over her kids. Got that? Good. I understand that Deiondra may feel her dad is being wronged and wants to defend her dad, but the truth is that this is not her place. Even if it wasn't between adults, the fact is that this isn't her battle, so she shouldn't be speaking about it.This is between Pilar and Deion and as a child, Deiondra should stay in her place. I'm sure that Deion has done more than his fair share of dirt. I also need her to get off of Twitter and into a book, there are too many errors in her rant to count.

The tea is that Deiondra and her brother, Deion Jr., aren't fans of Pilar and Pilar isn't fans of them. Pilar and Deion supposedly had a years long affair while he was still married to their mother. It's hard to watch your dad be married to the woman who destroyed your family. It's also hard for people to accept other people's children like they are their own. Many people do it but it's not as easy as it looks. Their family has a lot of rifts in it and they're becoming more and more apparent.

I need Deiondra to have a seat at the kiddie table and maybe next time she'll remember her place.

That Chrianna Love Just Won't Let Up

Two years after their tumultuous break up, it's still obvious that Chris Brown and Rihanna still love each other. They tweeted this subliminal tweets this morning and the blogosphere is buzzing. While I think they still love each other, the chances of them publicly reigniting their love is very slim. Rihanna's career would take an instant hit, no pun intended, and Kris Chris would violate the terms of his parole. I wouldn't think too deeply into this. They were probably each others first love and that's hard to shake.

P.S.: I have to take a break from writing about the Kardashians because I just wrote Kris, instead of Chris.

Deion Sandars Pulls a Kim Kardashian

No, he didn't get divorce after pocketing millions of dollars for a marriage that only lasted 72 days. Deion pulled a Kim Kardashian by breaking the news of his divorce to Pilar via internet. Yes, Deion didn't have the gall to meet face to face with Pilar and ask for a divorce. This is the cruddiest way to do it. I can imagine Deion  smiling in Pilar's face while meeting with divorce lawyers on a daily basis. Kim, I can see pulling this stunt because she didn't really care about Kris and they didn't have any history together but Deion and Pilar have been married 12 years and have 3 kids together. Pilar deserved more respect than finding out about her divorce and then reading the papers on TMZ.

It's a shame that the marriage had to end like this but maybe this is Deion's passive agressive way of getting back at Pilar. The rumor is that they are divorcing because Deion feels that Pilar has changed. He wants someone to be at his beck and call but now that she's getting attention on TV, separate from him, his ego can't take it. I guess I understand it because he wanted a trophy wife, which she was initially but she changed when she started getting more attention. I still feel like he should have been a man and told her to her face. I dislike cowards.
Here is my dedication to Deion: Toni Braxton's Just Be A Man About It

No Labor for Beyonce?

I guess I have to retract my story about Beyonce getting ready to deliver. Last night Jay-Z, sans Beyonce, was seen cheering on the New Jersey Nets, which he is part owner of, and this pretty much all but retires Beyonce's labor story. I say all but because Beyonce could still have reserved the rooms for delivery but hasn't gone into labor yet. I also doubt that Jay-Z would be at a game while his wife is in labor. That's bad for any man, let alone one as public as Jay-Z. I guess this was his way of dispelling the labor stories.

The hospital has not made a statement about this but they were supposedly bombarded with calls from fans and press about the story. The hospital could get into a lot of legal trouble if they were to comment on anything about a patient, so they're just keeping mum.

Random Kardashian Thoughts

It's been a while since I've done a Kardashian post and it's not because there hasn't been any tea but because there hasn't been anything to pique my interest. I decided to do a mash up on things that are floating around the blogosphere. Here are my random Kardashian thoughts:
  • There is a story going around that Scott plans on leaving Kourtney. I think I said it before but I believe that Scott and Kourtney will have this "relationship" until the Kardashian train stops.Once the Kardashian train stops, Scott and Kourtney will break up, she will take the kids, and he will go back to the playboy life he had before the Kardashians lobotomized him. Scott and Kourtney never struck me as a couple that would last forever. Couples who struggle that much aren't meant to last forever.
  • I think Kris Jenner is a horrible example of how to be a wife. Her daughters have picked up her example of emasculating men and it's evident in how Kourtney treats Scott and how Kim treated Kris. Yes, she has been married for a total of 33, nearly 34 years, so she does something right but I hate how she treats Bruce. She has emasculated him numerous times on the show by calling him "little boy," trashing how he dresses, making him keep his hobbies in one room of their gigantic house, trying to revert back to the Kardashian name, when she took his bank card and put him on a budget like he was her child, and just being rude to him. I'm not saying that she should be completely submissive to him but she should treat the man like he's an equal and like he matters. Kris Jenner is very self centered and has to make everything about her. I think Bruce will stick it out for the sake of staying married but I think that the only thing holding a lot of Kardashian relationships together is the empire, once it stops there will be a lot of break ups. I see Khloe and Lamar as the only relationship that will withstand the Kardashian krumble.
  • Kudos to Kris Humphries for resigning with the Nets. He has a nice sized contract and I'm sure he has learned a big lesson. He's only 26 and he has more years in the NBA, he'll bounce back Although his reputation has taken a bit of a beating, he will be relatively unscathed by this marriage debacle. .
  • I think Rob has finally moved out. He and a Kardashian sister, I can't remember who, went to see Khloe and he was wearing a coat like he just came from the outside. Oh, I just remembered he moved with Kourtney. I take back all my brownie points, kudos, and congratulations, until there is evidence that he has moved out or is at least taking care of himself.
  • I think Kim is jealous of Khloe and she projects her feelings onto Khloe. Kim is trying to convince the world that Khloe is jealous of her but the world doesn't believe it. During the KUWTK intro, Khloe tells Kim to move after she jumped right in front of Khloe and Kim says, "jealous." I've always thought that was weird because Khloe has said or done nothing to make me feel like she's jealous of Kim, but Kim always insists that Khloe is jealous of her. Kim wants people to believe that lie. Kim seemed a little too giddy about a story about Khloe being jealous of Kim's wedding arrangements and I think she fed the press that story. I find no reason for Khloe to be jealous of Kim but I think Kim has many  reasons to be jealous of Khloe. I think Kim is miserable. Without her fame, she is nothing and she knows it. I think for Khloe, everything could be gone tomorrow and she would be okay. Kim has nothing without the reality show fame. Khloe is also the the most balanced of the sisters. She's the only one I saw who had outside friends. All of Kim's friends seem to work for her. I also don't recall Kourtney having any friends. She had friends, good relationships with her family, a great attitude, and people seemed to like her the most. Kourtney is my favorite Kardashian because I love her style but I would watch Khloe all day. I find Kim utterly annoying and I'm glad when her screen time is severely reduced. I think Khloe is everyone's favorite Kardashian because she seems down to earth and stable.Everyone else, not so much. The obvious one is that Kim has been open about her dream of getting married and having kids, to the point of desperation and Khloe got married in a month, and has stayed married for over 2 years, while Kim has struggled in love. Kim will never find love because of her attitude.
  • I've wonder if Bruce spent time with his other kids. I wonder if they're even welcomed in his home. I've seen them no more than 3 times in six season. Brody has been on there twice and I think that's because he's famous, but whenever Bruce sees his kids, he always says "it was nice to see you," like they're a distant relative that comes into town once or twice a year. He admitted that they're not very close and if I was his kids, I would be insulted. They say everyone is raising everyone else's kids but their own. This seems like a clear case of that. It seems in Kardashian world that anyone not named Kardashian, doesn't matter. Bruce, Kylie, and Kendall barely get a pass because they're relevant to Kris Jenner.
  • I want to know how Kendall and Kylie pulled off going to Las Vegas without anyone knowing. That must have been a long shopping trip because they had to be gone for at least 5 hours. No one got suspicious at all? Whose credit card where they using because they don't have jobs or money of their own? Maybe my mother was too strict because she would have been on that.
  • Kris needs to listen to her mother. Her mother advised her to take her family off of TV for two years, which we know isn't happening. I'm sure Kris' mother, as an outsider, can see the break in the family dynamics and thinks a break will help them. Reality TV has broken up many relationships and put a strain on numerous families. I think we're beginning to see the cracks in the Kardashians and it will only get worse.

Beyonce to Deliver?

(Justjared.com)

Don't quote me on this tea I saw in the comment section of sandrose.com, but Beyonce is due to give birth very soon. According to the poster, the story, which has been picked up by Huffington Post, a high profile, celebrity patient just checked into New York's St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital to give birth. According to two nurses, this patient has booked half the floor of the labor and delivery suite. For legal reasons, the hospital cannot confirm or deny that the patient is Beyonce but I'll guess it's Beyonce. She's due to give birth soon and this doesn't surprise me.

I guess because I'm not on Beyonce and Jay-Z's financial level, I wouldn't be able to do this, but I didn't know that you can book an entire hospital floor. I thought people just hired security. I think Beyonce should have been more low-key because her booking the floor brought attention. She should have checked in with little fanfare and check out and no one would have known. Now the press has a hospital and a prospective date. If I was Beyonce, I would have given birth at home. Also, what about the other patients? Now they have to have their babies somewhere else because of Beyonce. Is Beyonce having a c-section, natural delivery, or being induced? Did she call and book these rooms around her due date so she'll have them? How does that work? Natural labor is very spontaneous and under normal circumstances, it would be very difficult to accurately book rooms.

Lastly, did Beyonce's people feed this story to the press to throw them off? I wouldn't be shocked if they camped out at this hospital and Beyonce was at home, or in another state giving birth. On a side note: I hope that Beyonce keeps up her style. Before she was pregnant, Beyonce's non working style was questionable at best, now that she is pregnant, Beyonce's style has been impeccable. I have yet to find a bad maternity outfit. That is how you should do it if you're pregnant. Beyonce has shown that pregnancy can be sexy.

The Hoearchy

I need someone to break down the "hoearchy."  On last night's episode of Love and Hip Hop, a girl, Erica, who was on Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami as a Dash store employee, go figure; yelled at Kimbella, Juelz Santana's baby mama and the one who slept with Fabolous and confessed it Emily's party to celebrate her independence from Fab(?) causing her to get a beat down via Chrissy,  that she wasn't on her level. As far as I know, Kimbella and Erica are both hoes, no offense, trying to come up. I also think that Erica was a bit jealous because Kimbella knows how to play the game, offering the first hit for free before charging, where Erica charges for the first hit, and therefore gets more "opportunities" than she does.

This is the hierarchy of women in a man's life:

  • wifey or wife- the number one woman in a man's life. No matter who else he may have in his life, she is the one he never leaves. She is the one who is on his arm. Some may argue that she gets the short end of the stick because boo, bitch, and hoe are always in rotation, but when he grows up and realizes what he has, everyone else will be retired. She is usually a 6 or 7 on the rating scale, you don't want her to be too high because then other men will want her but she can be an 8 if she cleaned up, she is smart or has something going for herself, at the most one outside kid, and little sordid history.
  • Boo- kind of like wifey but always number 2. She wants to be wifey and he will let her play wifey for a minute but she will never be wifey. Boo will ultimately be replaced because she doesn't play her role. She wants to be wifey and will do anything to be wifey, including causing public scenes, calling wifey, and getting pregnant but she will never be wifey.
  • Bitch- she is near the bottom of the totem pole and besides wifey, she is the only one who isn't replaceable. She isn't irreplaceable because the man loves her but because he trusts her, he knows she can be in the same room with wifey and boo and not cause a scene. She also knows most of his secrets and will carry them to the grave. She knows her role and is content with it. The man will always take care of her because of that loyalty. She could easily be wifey but she's not the type of woman to be wifed.
  • Friend- she is the only one with a real chance of moving to wifey spot. He wants her because she keeps him at arms length. She controls this relationship. Her official status is friend but she and the guy have sex when no other options are available. He doesn't understand why she doesn't want him and it drives him crazy, especially since he would readily be at her beck and call if need be. This is the best position for a woman to be in, besides wifey.
  • Hoes- are ambitious. They're always trying to move into wifey's position but the highest they achieve is boo or bitch, if they learn to play their role. The reason why they aren't wifey material is because they talk too much and don't know their role. They're good time girls and maybe they get a few dollars for gas or rent but other than that, they're in constant rotation. Hoes are often fantasy women, they rarely fall below a 9.

I know they say "hoes are winning" but I don't see that. At the end of the day, hoes are hoes. There is only one wifey, maybe two boos at the most, two bitches are most, one friend, and an endless supply of hoes. Hoes are replaceable. They are hoes for a reason. Last year, Misa Hylton, Diddy's ex and Justin's mother, went on a radio show and made some comments to which, Kim Porter said "she's not on my level." (Side eye)
Here is my analysis of Diddy's "hoearchy." Misa and Jennifer were wifey, Kim alternates between "boo" and "bitch," Cassie is "bitch," she'll never be boo and surely won't be wifey, and Sarah Chapman, Chance Combs' mother is "hoe" with a bit of "bitch. I say that because she seems loyal to Diddy and plays her position well but they never had anything besides sex. If anything, Kim isn't on Misa's level because Diddy, which is proven by the fact that Kim was Misa's best friend when she was dating Diddy. Misa said that Diddy is still angry because he doesn't have that control over her, which I believe because Diddy likes to control his women, i.e. Cassie and Kim, who aren't allowed to have any other lovers as long as Diddy is paying the bills. The only one who has a hoearchy that surpasses Diddy's is Lil' Wayne. His baby mama's, all "bitches," with a sprinkling of "boo" besides Toya, who was the only wifey, get along perfectly. They're at each other's events and they openly accept each other's kids. Lil' Wayne needs to write a book on that. I'm sure it would be a best seller.
Let's look at women in "hoe"-archy. Evelyn was jealous of Jen, which is why she was so happy to see her relationship fail because no real friend wants to see anything their friend is involved with fail, because she became a wife, while Evelyn is forever "boo" and "bitch," no matter how many times she gets engaged that's where she stays. Evelyn knows the hoe-archy, and plays her role well, but she still wants to be "wifey" but because of her "hoe" history, she'll never advance past the role of "boo."Wifey is a special spot to be held by a relatively untainted woman, and Evelyn isn't it. Men need a certain woman to be "wifey" so they can escape the shame of  having to explain her history. Chrissy is stuck at "boo" with a bit of "wifey." There is something about her that keeps her in that purgatory. You can see that Jim Jones has love for her but there's something that keeps him from taking that definite step. Even Kim Kardashian has lowered her stock to that of "boo" and "bitch." Everyone wants the fantasy of Kim Kardashian but I'd like to find the man, of quality stock, that would openly wife Kim Kardashian. It's not happening right now. She'll never be "hoe" because of her stock and she's too thirsty to be "friend," so her stock stays between "boo" and "bitch."

Not every woman is "wifey" and "bitch" has the most power because she realizes it and plays her position. "Bitch" and "friend" have the greatest chance of becoming "wifey." "Maybe "boo" can be wifey if she plays her role better and "hoe" may have a chance of rising to "boo" status if they keep their history on lock.

Really Sinead O'Connor

I know most of you are saying, "who?" But Sinead O'Connor is a one hit wonder from the early 90's, who instantly  killed her career after ripping up a picture of the pope on SNL. A few weeks ago, Sinead O'Connor annouced that she was getting married, for the fourth time. A couple blogs covered it but other than that, no one really cares. Like I said awhile ago, C-List-F-List celebs, and washed up celebs, should be grateful to blogs because the these outlets, which they so openly bash, give them a much needed career boost. Well, 18 days after getting married, Sinead released an open letter about ending her marriage.

"Within 3 hours of the ceremony being over the marriage was kyboshed by the behaviour of certain people in my husband's life. And also by a bit of a wild ride i took us on looking for a bit of smoke of weed for me wedding night as I don't drink. "My husband was enormously wounded and very badly effected by that experience and also by the attitude of those close to him toward our marriage," she continued. "It became apparent to me that if he were to stay with me he would be losing too much to bear."

I've read this statement multiple times and I'm still confused? What is she talking about? This is one of those statements that have you smiling and nodding because you don't want the person to say anything else. I need Sinead to have several seats in a wedding chapel. Also, didn't Sinead come out as a lesbian a few years ago? How do you retract coming out of the closet? That's a first. Most people try to stay in the closet. What's the point of  brazenly declaring your lesbianism and then running back in the closet? You don't have to "come out the closet," per say, to be open. Lots of people aren't "closeted" but they don't publicly declare their status.
I smell a stunt. I feel like Sinead, and soon to be ex-husband, will be on someone's reality show trying to repair this marriage or in Celebrity Rehab because they smoked weed. Or, she will be on some "celebrity" show crying about how she was abused or teased and the Pope picture ripping thing and how it painfully affected her. I think she's trying to set herself up for some type of comeback. Like I always say, I don't knock anyone's hustle. Get it how you get it but be careful while you're getting it.

On another note, not everyone is meant to be married. Marriage is hard work and it isn't for everyone. I feel like there is nothing wrong with having a "friend," shacking up, or being eternal "boyfriend and girlfriend." Don't feel like you have to get married because that's what society wants. If you don't wanna be married, fine. Do what works for you. Many people happily shack up for years and there's nothing wrong with that.

My Gift to Tyrese

Tyrese is one of those people who should stay off of Twitter. In fact, he is one of those people who shouldn't speak unless reciting lines. He just needs to sit there and be sexy, when he opens his mouth he loses sexy points. He is the ultimate Twitter prophet. He is on Twitter all day, giving advice to everyone, especially single women I like some of the stuff he says but for every one thing he says that's poignant, he says 2 things that cancel it out. I understand having confidence but just because you have been a successful entertainer, doesn't mean you should be a Twitter prophet.
I hate when people throw rocks and hide their hand and "I ain't taking shots at no one" is the perfect example. If you don't wanna take shots at anyone, then don't tweet about it. Tyrese is also a hypocrite because a few years back, I think 2005 or 2006, he was trying to rap but no one took him seriously. He's mad that no one checked for him. Tyrese isn't a rapper, so why would he care if an R&B singer decided to rap? It's not taking any money out of his pocket, so he needs to have several seats.

Earlier this year, I rented Tyrese's book from the library, because I was not paying for it unless I liked it, which is what I do with most things I buy, and I didn't get past chapter 2. The book wasn't bad but after the chapter about his childhood, I felt like there was too much name dropping and "look at me," "look at the people I know." I don't like name droppers. I understand he's accomplished and he's often in the company of accomplished people but I wanted to read more inspirational things and I didn't feel inspired, I just felt bored. I gave it to a friend and he said the same thing. I like confidence but I hate people who are constantly tooting their own horn. It gives an air of insecurity because if you were as great as you constantly have to remind people, then people would see it own their own. I'm off my soapbox.

Ummm, Lil Kim

You gotta respect Lil' Kim's hustle. I actually respect everyone who hustles and works hard to maintain and although I don't agree with how she's been maintaining the spotlight, I can respect what she's done for female rappers. Now that I said that, let's analyze this picture. Everything from the legs up is questionable. The photoshopped the life out of Lil' Kim's arms, torso area, and hands. It looks like the pasted the torso of a barbie doll onto Lil' Kim. It's not horrible but she could do better. I feel like it's time for Lil' Kim to hang it up and do something else. There are a lot of things she can do in the music industry and she should pursue them. I feel like her coming after Nicki Minaj will ruin her legacy because it will paint her as a bitter woman, who didn't know when to hang it up.

Happy Holidays

From Millan.Net

BFV S2 E6

  • Wow at Tamar. I knew that the over the top personality was to mask insecurities, but Tamar needs to get over it if she's gonna have a successful singing career. She can only place blame on Vince and Toni for so long before she has to take responsibility. Maybe Tamar is afraid of success and that's why she's seeming sabotaging everything.
  • Why does Tamar talk about herself in the 3rd person? It's annoying.
  • I can't stand Andre. He makes my blood boil every time his voice and face comes through the screen. He's one of those people whose breathing irritates you. If I was Towanda, I would appreciate it if Andre got a 9-5 job, or generated some income. You don't need a job to generate income. I'm glad he published his book, kudos to him, but the book probably won't generate any income for a while and his family still needs income and a place to live. I find it hard to believe that Andre received any job offers and passed them up because they were "out of town." I want to know what is "out of town" for him. He should be ashamed and embarrassed that his family is in this situation. There are so many things wrong with Towanda, that I'd be impossible for me to go into everything.
  • Did they only publish one book because I have not heard anything about Andre's book in any store or anyone owning his book? Kind of like Royce from Basketball Wives. She says her book exists but no one besides her owns a copy.
  • Wow at Andre. He tried it because as a legally separated husband, he technically shouldn't be eating crumbs. Let it be me, he wouldn't even be plastic. I'm sure if Towanda had something, he wouldn't be there. Andre is the sorriest excuse for a man I've ever seen. Towanda is a better woman than me because I would have slapped him with that book, twice and told him he got first and seconds. He wouldn't even be in my top million, he's lucky he's top 5. I actually find it hard to believe that anyone came to his book signing, much less bought a book. Do I have to say it again? 600 books are published every day, yes every day, Andre needs to get a job or generate some income.
  • Andre's WEtv biography says he graduated high school in 1980, that means he's 49, which he looks good for by the way, there's no way that a 50 year old man should be unemployed, not generating any income, and freely watching the TV of and eating the food of another man. Andre has written 5 books and is not generating enough income to feed his family, he needs to get a job.
  • Tamar actually took some advice from someone. I never thought I would see the day.
  • I love Traci's sayings. They don't make sense but they always make me laugh.
  • Did Tamar really have to name drop her Louboutins? I don't know if I'm the only that irritates.
  • I'm happy to see their father taking a more active role in their family. I still want Mama Braxton to let go of some of that anger she has towards him. I get that what happened was painful but they have 6 kids and numerous grand kids, so it's a given that they're going to have to see each other a lot. Kudos to them for learning how to be cordial, or quiet, whichever one works.
  • I just realized that Towanda has retired those atrocious pigtails. Kudos to her, now if only she would retire her relationship with Andre.
  • I'm sure that Traci had hair on her chest before drinking that ammonia/piss beverage. They weren't literally drinking ammonia/piss but by they way they described the drink, you would think that they were.
  • I like Tamar's voice. It sounds so much like Toni's that I actually wrote Toni.
  • Wow at Vince. He could have encouraged Tamar a bit more, He just brushed her off and kept it moving. Maybe he is angry about being shut out of the process.

Pet Peeve: Black Women, Blonde Hair

This has been my pet peeve for months now. I'm tired of seeing women with skin, eyebrows, and hair the some color. It looks like they took a bath in bronzer, then washed their face and hair with it. I hate it. It makes them look greasy and toasty. I have wanted Olivia to let go of that "Biz-ounce" hair for a long time, Mary J. Blige to grow up from the 1996 blonde, and NeNe to let go of that thin looking blonde hair. I want them to let it go. I think a chocolate brown, dark reddish brown, or black will look good. This monochromatic thing is a no-no and I never want to see it again.

My Gift to Rihanna

Rihanna needs a break. I have to admire Rihanna's work ethic. She has put out an album every year for the last 6years, toured relentless, shot video after video, has had product endorsements and anything else an artist has to stay relevant. I feel like Rihanna's work ethic has been pushed by her handlers, who know Rihanna is flavor of the month fair and will be fading in a couple years. Rihanna is pretty but no one will be singing her songs five years from now and they know they need to capitalize on her before she fades into obscurity.

I am gifting Rihanna a hammock on the beach. Rihanna is exhausted and she needs to relax. The queen of relentless work ethic, Beyonce, even told Rihanna to take a year off. I feel like Rihanna should take time off to recuperate and allow the public to miss her. Rihanna's latest album, Talk That Talk has only been out for a few weeks but it is already fading from memory. I liked Loud and I loved the red hair and I hate this brown, curly stuff she has going on. I feel like she had a few more months to push Loud before the image become old. I feel like Rihanna changing her image with every album may work to her detriment, people like to feel like they know their artists and Rihanna changes so quickly that it's hard to keep up.

Rihanna has been exhausted and very sick for the last few weeks,so much so that the public is beginning to notice. It's a shame when handlers, record labels, and managers become so engrossed with the "product" that they forget that there is a person behind this product. If Rihanna doesn't slow down, she'll end up Britney 2.0.

Edit Your Outfit: Jennifer Hudson

I have no idea what is going on with Jennifer Hudson's outfit but she needs to stop. I like dusty rose. I think it's a universal color that looks good on most skin tones and it also gives an edge. Jennifer looks like a 70's go-go dancer from a trashy club. I don't even know what that thing is around her neck.  Jennifer, you make too much money to wear this. I have put together two alternatives for Jennifer.

Alternative 1:

This outfit gives Jennifer the edge she desires. The short and patterned tights add a pop and the metallic colors keep her in the dusty rose family. This outfit is chic and edgy but most of all it's modern and adult.

Alternative 2:

This outfit is still edgy but it's more winter friendly. She gets the dusty rose color and edgy leggings.

Both outfits have a blazer because I like blazers. They give the versatility of  looking classy but they can be edged up with leggings or jeans for the club or an event. They can also be added to a dress for extra comfort.

Niggerbitch

Yes, you have read the headline correct. Jackie Magazine, a popular Dutch magazine publis
Here's a translation of the article:
She has street cred, she has a ghetto ass and she has a golden throat. Rihanna, the good girl gone bad, is the ultimate niggabitch and displays that gladly, and for her that means: what’s on can come off. If that means she’ll be on stage half naked, then so be it. But Dutch winters aren’t like Jamaican ones, so pick a clothing style in which your daughter can resist minus ten. No to the big sunglasses and the pornheels, and yes to the tiger print, pink shizzle and everything that glitters. Now let’s hope she won’t beat anybody up at daycare."
Anyone care to translate what "she has a golden throat" means? Does it mean what I think it does? Also, Rihanna is Barbadian, not Jamaican. That's a basic fact. People, who aren't Rihanna fans, know that she is from the Barbados. The lady should have Googled before she approved the atrocious and poorly written article. The last line is very stereotypical black woman. The "niggerbitch" she is probably discussing has multiple kids out of wedlock and is very angry and ghetto; why else would she be in daycare beating people up?
Editor Eva Hoeke's response:
Dear readers,
First: thanks for all your responses. We are of course very fed up over this and especially very
shocked. However I’m glad that we’re engaging in a dialogue on this page — not everybody does that.
Thanks for this. Other than that I can be brief about this: this should have never happened.
Period. While the author meant no harm — the title of the article was intended as a joke — it was a bad joke, to say the least. And that slipped through my, the editor-in-chief’s, fingers. Stupid, painful and sucks for all concerned. The author has been addressed on it, and now I can only ensure that these terms will no longer end up in the magazine. Furthermore I hope that you all believe there was absolutely no racist motive behind the choice of words. It was stupid, it was naive to think that this was an acceptable form of slang — you hear it all the time on tv and radio, then your idea of what is normal apparently shifts — but it was especially misguided: there was no malice behind it. We make our magazine with love, energy and enthusiasm, and it can sometimes happen that someone is out of line. And then you can only do one thing: apologize. And hope that others wish to accept it. From the bottom of my heart I say it again: we never intended to offend anyone. And I mean that.
Regards,
Eva Hoeke
Eva tried that. I know most editors, who are worth their salt, read the entire magazine cover to cover before sending it to press. Even if this was a last minute addition, someone on the editorial staff had to approve it. The irony may be that the slipped through her fingers, but the resignation didn't slip through her fingers. The publisher probably told her to resign or be fired. No word on what happened to the author of the article.
Rihanna's response:

@evajackie I hope u can read english, because your magazine is a poor representation of the evolution of human rights! I find you disrespectful, and rather desperate!! You ran out of legit, civilized information to print! There are 1000's of Dutch girls who would love to be recognized for their contributions to your country, you could have given them an article. Instead, u paid to print one degrading an entire race! That's your contribution to this world! To encourage segregation, to mislead the future leaders to act in the past! You put two words together, with the intent of abasement, that made no sense..."***** BITCH"?!.... Well with all respect, on behalf of my race, here are my two words for you...FUCK YOU!!!
Besides the last two words, Rihanna's response was actually nice. I was with her until the last sentence. She could have made her point without cursing.

I don't get angry over this type of stuff anymore. Racism exists and we know it exists. It's the elephant in the room that people avoid. In 2008, with the election of President Obama, we supposedly entered a post racial society but that's not true. In a society built on racist ideologies, it's hard to erase hundreds, even thousands, of years "I can take your land and your people because I'm scientifically superior than you because of my race.: I feel like getting angry over an article is pointless. The people who we should be angry with is ourselves.

Do I think the editor is right in approving an article that is titled using an offensive term? No, but I understand her response, in a way. She saw the term freely used in America and she thought it was okay. I really wish the lady used some common sense. It's never okay to use such an offensive term and think you're giving a compliment. Anyway, back to us and our responsibility. This lady would have never printed an article called "Bog Bitch," "Buddhahead Bitch," "Chinky Bitch," "Cracker Bitch," "Spic Bitch," "Wetback Bitch," and all the other slurs out there that could have been used. In fact, no other slur would be used a freely as the word Nigger was. I don't care how angry we get and how entitled we feel to use it, no one should use it.

We didn't earn the word. It's like when divorced women, with no kids with their ex-husband, say they earned the last name; you can't earn a last name and you can't earn the right to use an offensive word. This is a case of "Do as I say and not as I do." A parent cannot tell their child not to smoke but they constantly smoke, the child will emulate their parents. We cannot freely use a word that has no positive connotation at all and expect people to feel uncomfortable using it. For example, the nappy headed hoe thing with Don Imus. Although I thought it was in poor taste, I tried to explain to a friend that Imus felt okay using the term because nappy headed and hoe are words that are freely thrown around in the black community. The friend and I got nowhere during this discussion.

If we want people to view nigger as a word that shouldn't be used by anyone, in any way, shape, or form, we have to stop using it in any way, shape, or form. I think it's ignorant for young black men, Jay-Z included, who never lived through the racial equality struggle, to say they're taking the sting out of nigger by removing the "er" ending and replacing it with an "a." They never felt the sting of the word as they walked through angry mobs, were beaten, or watched friends and loved ones be lynched. I feel like the younger generation, and Jay-Z, who I feel uses it to sell music, uses it because they don't understand the true meaning of the word. And it obviously has some sting to it because we get offended when people, with the wrong hue, use it. The word is still offensive no matter who uses it and in what context they use it in. For "nigga" to mean a black person is offensive. I don't get where the sting has been removed. If someone, black or any other race, said "look at that nigga," I would be highly offended and I know most people would be too, even the young black men who use it so freely. We have to stop using any word we wouldn't want anyone else to use in order for people to get the message that it's not okay.

Damn Kobe!

I'm sure by now you have all heard that Kobe Bryant's long suffering wife, Vanessa, has filed for divorce. I think we are shocked because we thought Vanessa would dry her tears with Hermes handkerchiefs, shop her days away on rodeo drive, and take her frustrations out on the hired help. People are saying that Vanessa waited ten years because she would be guaranteed alimony for life and she would get half. Kobe famously shunned the advice of basically everyone  to get a prenuptial agreement. Oh well. I bet he won't make that mistake again.

According to the ladies of Lip Stick Alley, it became public knowledge that Kobe has several outside children, including one in LA, that he hides from the public very well. This baby mama is well educated, thanks to Kobe, and has a $100,000 a year job that he helped her get. In addition to this one, he supposedly has at least two other families. Kobe is a pimp who hides behind his family man image by getting his teammates and friends to do is dirty work. This may have backfired on Kobe because TMZ is saying that his teammate's like to snitch about his deeds to their girlfriends, who in turn snitch to Vanessa. I guess Kobe doesn't have the power he thought he had within the Laker's organization.

I find this interesting because Vanessa has a reputation as a royal bitch, who doesn't fraternize with the lower basketball wives but maybe that's untrue. I have seen pictures of her smiling with Monica and she was even apart of her wedding. Oh well. I bet Kobe thought he had it all on lock. He probably had his jump offs sign confidentiality agreements and I bet he relied on the kindness of his teammates but Vanessa still outsmarted him. I wanna see this settlement because Vanessa is set for life.

RHOA S4 E8

  • Sheree is irritating me. If I ever liked Sheree, which I can't recall having, all love and respect I had for her, is now gone. When she said her child support may only be a couple hundred dollars and is it worth going through it for that, I had to take a couple deep breaths. Is Sheree doing this because she wants her kids to have from their father or because she needs more income? I'm leaning towards the latter because this seems to have nothing to do with her kids. Sheree is always dressed to the nines with the most expensive brands and her kids are in need of basic maintenance.
  • Sheree is very ungrateful. I'm not saying she needs to jump through hoops and kiss Phaedra's behind because she's offering her services at a discounted rate but she should be more grateful. Sheree is acting like Phaedra dropped the ball and she didn't, how was she supposed to know Bob would file that? I'm glad Phaedra dropped Sheree as a client. She was acting like a bratty child and it wasn't fair for her associates to chase Sheree around Atlanta to get paid. Don't believe Sheree in her denying that it didn't happen because people in the salon have attested to it happening. We know that everything Sheree has owned as been repossessed, or foreclosed on, and she has a history of not paying people. Her last car was repossessed because she didn't pay her lawyers. Sheree doesn't feel like she has to pay her bills and that's why she's living in an apartment, not a condo like she said, without any furniture. It's everyone's fault but Sheree. If Sheree finds another lawyer, I'm sure it won't be one of quality. It'll probably be one who is fresh out of law school or a lowly associate in need of a high profile case to boost their standings. It's been proven time and time again that Sheree does not work well with others and this thing with Phaedra has proven that it's Sheree.
  • I'm glad Kim is finally moving because I was wondering about that house. It was shown on episode one and never spoken about again. Excuse me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't it have made more sense to move before the baby was born? I can't imagine that it won't be easy to get everything settled with a newborn baby.
  • Sheree is officially on my crap list with Andre. I don't understand her and her priorities. If Sheree was a young girl in her 20's or early 30's, with no responsibilities, and she wanted to put herself into debt by buying extravagant things, fine. But the fact that Sheree has two kids she has to take care of and is spending money she doesn't have on expensive things she doesn't need nor can afford, makes me angry. I bet Sheree buys herself new shoes daily but her son's shoes are worn to the sole and she doesn't know what size he wears or her hair gets done every couple days but her daughter needs her hair done. Sheree always looks impeccable but her kids look like foster kids. It really pisses me off. I hate selfish mothers. Why should her kids suffer because she has Pernod-Ricard Perrier-Jouet taste on a tap water budget? I wonder if she ever got her son a bed.
  • Who is Marlo and what does she do? Cynthia said it's a stamp of approval to have Marlo at her event but I've never heard of Marlo before. In fact, the only thing I've seen of Marlo is her collection of mugshots.
  • Kandi have a seat. I see Kandi is being messy because it solidifies her spot on her show but I liked her when she was regular, chill Kandi, I'm not liking reality show Kandi. Like I said last review, if Marlo blows to get money, why is that any of Kandi's business? I'm sure Kandi, being in the music industry, has blown a few people to get opportunities and we all know that Kim blows to get money because she hasn't worked in 10 years and has no plans on working again, so if Kandi wants to go there, she should go all the way there.
  • Is Peter Cynthia's husband or father? I know I ask this every review but it their interactions makes it worth reiterating. He treats her like a child and not like a partner. Okay, Cynthia sent out the invitations on the wrong day but that's nothing that can't be fixed with snail mail, calling, emailing, personal visits, etc. Peter didn't have to berate her in front of all those people. Cynthia is 45 years old. She's a grown woman with a child. I guess this is the episode to make me dislike people. I really dislike Peter's attitude. If it was Peter, and I'm sure it was with his many failed businesses, Cynthia would have helped him. In fact, she put herself in debt to help him and he's still ungrateful. They have no business or marriage acumen.
  • Also, Peter has failed 99 times so he can tell Cynthia 99 ways to do it but can he tell her one right way to do it? Also he, and NeNe, act like Cynthia is this poor, helpless woman, who needs someone to hold her hand, but Cynthia has consistently modeled for over 20 years and is still booking jobs, she has to have some type of smarts. There is more to being a successful model than standing in front of the camera.I agree with Cynthia's friend, she is dumbing herself down to be with Peter. Why does NeNe have a confessional about Peter and Cynthia's marriage and business? NeNe has enough problems of her own.
  • NeNe's hair is making me sad. She's too tan for hair that light and thin. She needs to add some pieces for fullness and darken it to an auburn, deep red, brown, or chocolate brown. That hair does nothing for her.
  • I agree with Kandi's friend. Business and friends/family do not mix. It's one of those things that will always prove to be a toxic mix and the sooner people realize it, the better. Although I agree with him about Kim, I feel like Lawrence was the better investment. He took the craft seriously and actually had talent. I feel like it wasn't profitable because he didn't have the time to invest into becoming a pop star.
  • Hold on, Kim's a pop star? That made my internal record stop. Kim had one song, she's hardly a pop star. I hate to be in people's pockets but how much is this house worth? I know that celeb net worth is not always accurate but according to it, Kim's net worth is 1.5 million and Kroy's is 3.5 million and his contract is for $2 million and he's up for a new contract in 2012. I hate to say it, but Kim and Kroy don't have coins like they're portraying. $5 million hardly seems like enough to supplement Kim's lifestyle. Maybe Kroy will get a better contract but I haven't heard much about him being a great player. I'm sure Kim will suck Kroy's pockets dry, like she did with Big Poppa, and get on that 18 year plan. I don't see Kim and Kroy being together ten years from now. Yes, I think Kim trapped Kroy.
  • I believe that Kim keeps the caliber of men that she does because she knows how to treat them. I don't particularly like Kim, but you have to admire the way she treats Kroy. I have never seen her disrespect him and she seems to go out of her to make him feel like a man. Say what you want about her work ethic but she knows how to treat a man.
  • Mal needs to mind her business. Like I said a few points ago, Cynthia is in her 40's, if she wants to run her life into the ground with this marriage headed for divorce.
  • Kim is a hypocrite. Just because she's now a wife, which she wasn't during taping, and she has a legitimate relationship, doesn't mean she can look down on Marlo. How quickly we forget about Big Poppa. Big Poppa supplemented Kim's lifestyle for years. He bought her house and took care of her for many years before this show came along. Kim has not had a legitimate job for at least ten years. I think I may have to gift Kim a stadium full of seats.
  • Kudos to Marlo for standing up for herself and spilling the tea on these women. The only women who have their own money are Kandi, Phaedra, and Cynthia, everyone else has benefactors, yes even new life Kim. How is Marlo be any different? Kandi started this mess and now she's mad that Marlo finished it. This is why people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. I'm sure she was Big Momma to A.J. The story was that he was a producer, but I never heard of him and I never saw his name on any producing credits.
  • Wow, did Peter really leave during Cynthia's party? I know that if Cynthia left during that preview party he had a few episodes back, it would have been hell to pay. Cynthia needs to get a good divorce attorney because if that isn't a sign, I don't know what is.

Braton Family Values S2 E4

  • I'm highly annoyed with Trina. I don't care if Gabe cheated slept with someone while she was next to him, when she decided to stay and work it out, she needs to do that. If she can't get over what happened, she needs to leave him. Her flirting with the guy in front of her husband was wrong and there is no justification for it. She also treats him like a pest and if she's that annoyed with him, again she should leave him. I feel like this show is going to push a marriage that's half in the grave all the way in. It's already hard to fix your problems with the two of you but allowing America in your private conversations and therapy sessions, isn't helping. Reality shows are called the relationship killer for a reason. Having your relationship become a work thing and America judging you on a constant basis is too much for any relationship.
  • In defense of Gabe, whose tea I'm going to clock in another post for some things that were wrong on his end, Trina needs to be grateful and acknowledge what Gabe has done for her. He has put her through school, he supports her and her kids from another marriage, not to mention Towanda and her 3 kids, he seems like he provides financially for her and he tries to be supportive. I'm not saying this means that she needs to stay in a marriage that is no longer working out of gratitude but she should appreciate the the things he has done for her and stop acting like he was a 100% horrible husband.
  • I think Gabe deserves some type of award because any other man would have ripped that party apart. They probably would have snatched Trina and did some damage to Christian. Also, did Trina just say "cheaterization." That's a first.
  • Anyone who takes marriage advice from Tamar deserves to get divorced. I don't care what she says, her marriage is limping and it's only been two years.
  • I'm hard pressed to believe that anyone is going to buy Tamar's album. I doubt it's actually going to come out and if it does, it's not going to sell because no one buys albums, unless the artist is established.
  • Vincent better not let Tamar manage him. Tamar can barely manage the day to day dealings with her life, she will run his career into the ground.
  • I saw a documentary on Toni Braxton that had a few scenes with Tamar in it and Tamar was actually likable  She was down to earth, funny, and she looked like normal person. I have no idea who this person is. I'm not liking this Tamar character.Vince was right, Tamar does do too much and it's annoying. No one wants to be around a person on 20 all the time. I want Tamar to grow up. She acts like a bratty child and is very defensive when Vince tries to help her. I think if Vince wasn't Tamar's husband, he would have dropped her as a client a long time ago. Tamar is a piece of work.
  • Watching that flashback with Mama Braxton and her ten year old anger, makes me shake my head in exasperation. I understand it's hard to move past something when the man your pledges your life to cheats on you but the man is married and has moved on, it's time to move past the bitterness. I also think Mr. Braxton needs to understand that although he wants the girls to accept his wife, he needs to understand that to them this is the woman who ruined their family and took their father away from them. They will naturally side with their mother, who needs to let go of her anger and bitterness, and even if they build a cordial relationship with his new wife, he needs to understand that she will always be the mistress. He shouldn't base his relationship with his daughters on the one they have with his wife.
  • I'm giving Toni the side eye on her explanation for firing Vince. She knew that Vince was managing Tamar and I think it wasn't a problem when she was the most famous Braxton. Now that Tamar has eclipsed her in fame, Toni is uneasy and she sees Vince's managing the both of them as a conflict of interest because she thinks he will give Tamar the upper hand in choosing opportunities. I think the conflict of interest will be when Vince has to work hard to make Tamar really eclipse Toni. If I was Toni, I would put my feelings aside and keep the upper hand in the situation.
  • I got misty eyed when Mr. Braxton walked in. Kudos to him for showing up. Also, why did he get a confessional?
  • I feel like when Mama Vraxton said the thing about "I didn't know there were so many people getting their degree online," that she was throwing shade.
  • Trina was doing too much at her graduation party.
  • Wow at Toni's rant. I understand that Toni doesn't want to share everything with her sisters but it doesn't make her look good. I believe she did this show because she felt that it would boost her fame. She didn't count on the entire family becoming stars or Tamar's eclipsing her fame wise. Someone needs to knock Toni off her high horse with a joust because it was okay for everyone to work for her when they had nothing, but now that they have something, she feels the need to remind everyone that she is "Toni Braxton." The dynamics have changed and I don't think Toni can handle it.
  • Also, what was Tamar supposed to do? Break down and say," you're right Toni, we're nothing with you and we will never be anything without you." Toni, exit stage left. You're jealousy is showing.
  • Where did Traci come from? She was MIA the entire episode and BAM she has a cameo.
  • I feel like every woman in America owes Gabe an apology. Yes, he was/is wrong for his infideliaty, but women are quick to jump on the side of the woman without good cause. Trina cheated too, and I'm sure it was with Christian. Gabe has reasons for his insecurities.

Karl Rominger, Exit Stage Left

Deep sigh. Jerry Sandusky is going to lose his case. Not because of the consistencies with the cases but because his lawyers are idiots. The only smart thing they did was waive the hearing. They waived it to prevent more damaging facts from being revealed but they negated that. One of Sandusky's genius lawyers, Karl Rominger, made this brilliant statement in defense of him showering with young boys.
"People who work with troubled youth will tell you that there are a lot of juvenile delinquents or people who are dependent who have to be taught basic life skills like how to put soap on their body,"
I'm at a loss for words. This statement was so idiotically dumb, that if this is what their defense is going to be, Sandusky needs to fire all of his lawyers, plead guilty, and rot in jail. If he continues to go like this, that's what's going to happen anyway, so he can just save the state of Pennsylvania the money needed for this trial. His main lawyer has him doing interviews that have hurt his credibility and now this. Just be quiet. Please be quiet. Everyone associated with Sandusky needs to be quiet.

Turning in My Black Card

I no longer wanna be black. No, I'm not going to buy a lifetime supply of skin bleaching cream, blue contacts, and dye my hair blonde. No, I'm not going to check "other" or white on any questionnaire. I'm actually proud of my African heritage and plan to divulge deeper into my background. When I say I no longer want to be black, I mean I no longer want to live under the restrictive ideologies that black people often subscribe to as a mean to validate their proverbial blackness. If that means letting "them" have my black card, I will gladly turn it in. That doesn't mean I'm trading it in for a "white card."

I have lost count of the number of times someone has accused me of thinking I was a white girl. It's not that I check white on my questionnaires, that I bleach my skin, dye my hair, and buy atrocious blue contacts, it's the things I want. I want better. I don't want to live in certain parts of the inner city, I actually want my kids to go to the best "white school," I wanna live in one of the richest counties in America, I don't prescribe to the normal black American ideologies of religion, and a slew of other things I'm sure got my black card revoked years ago. In fact, I'm sure if I look for my black card, I think someone already stole it and burned it.

My gripe with black people isn't the rules we make that restrict ourselves, it's this shuffle that we have been in for the last 50 years. Before the civil rights movement, we could really attest to the fact that there were rules that held us down. Laws were passed that restricted our jobs, housing, schools, voting, and just about everything else. The KKK could come into any black home, kill everyone, confess to it, and walk away with no consequences. People fought to make lives hard for black Americans but we struggled and persevered. You can't tell me my great grandmother didn't persevere when she opened her own business in the 50's despite being a single mom to 13 kids. You can't tell me my other great grandmother didn't persevere despite making $25 a week. She didn't expect anything from anyone, she got up and worked hard for her $25. She even owned several houses and put her kids through school. My maternal grandmother had unfulfilled dreams of being a secretary. Most people view being a secretary has a foot in the door, but that was her ultimate goal. That meant she didn't have to scrub the marble steps like her mother. Black people got up and worked hard. They didn't have black representatives or a black president. Their kids didn't believe that they were owed the false lifestyle that celebrities often portrayed. People didn't complain, they got up and worked hard. When the dogs bit them and their hair was ripped out by the force of water hoses, they didn't complain, they went out there the next day because they had a job to do.

My generation irritates me. We like to complain but we don't do much. We feel like we're owed something when the truth is, we have to go out and get our "something." We have big dreams but we still have to work to get there. We have a black president and we feel like he owes us something. Barack Obama is everyone's president, not just ours. We fall behind in every category that matters but we are at the top of the worst categories. We wanna worry about futile things like someone talking white, light skin/dark skin, whether someone thinks they're white, successful men dating outside their race, and all types of things that don't matter. We like to fight each other and as a result no one gets ahead. Even if someone is ahead and they try to pull their "brother or sister" up they find that they think they're owed something because the person who brought them in is black.

In order for us to get ahead and be the best, we have to come together. We have to stand together and congratulate those who open doors for us, instead of criticizing and downing them. We love to criticize our own. It's not other races, it's us. We criticize Tyler Perry for not being up to par or showing coon images, but no one is out there creating movies, people criticized Whitney Houston, Oprah, they criticized Alek Wek for being too dark. Not white people, but black people and it's sad. We wanna complain about light skin/dark skin, but we're the ones who perpetuate this. To people of other races, you're black no matter the shade. It's really sad and black people will never get ahead as long as we do this. And to black women, if black men won't date you because of your skin color, don't worry, lots of "other" men date the darkest hue of black women.

I say all that to say that no one should restrict themselves because of made up rules that define blackness or some stupid standards created by "they" that defines whether or not a person is black.
