David Guetta ft. Nicki Minaj- Turn Me On

Christina Aguilera, We Need to Talk

Christina, Girl, we need to talk. I have never really been a fan of yours but these last couple years have me questioning you. While your talent has never been questioned, some things in your personal life pique's interest. We're not going to go into all that, we're just gonna stick with this pic.

I don't care if it was spray tan, or a period leakage, either is gross. You are a 13 year veteran of the game, you should be on point when you perform. Your spray tan, or tampon, should not be leaking. You should do the quick 360 in the mirror to make sure you are on point. This is unacceptable and nasty. Get it together like yesterday. You know better. That. Is. All.

My Thoughts on the KKTNY Season Finale

Sigh... Don't take my not having any sympathy for Kim as hating on Kim. When I first heard about Kim and Kris getting married and I saw their pics, I remember I was eating a piece of cake and I said, "I have more chemistry with my cake then she has with her fiancee." In the pics it looked copied and pasted.

  • Kim needs a Mr. Kardashian, a la Bruce and Scott. She needs someone to follow her around, hold her bags, and pose for the red carpet. She needs someone who doesn't have anything going on. I think if Kim opened herself up to Kris, he could have been good for her. Kris saw Kim as Kim and not as Kim Kardashian. Kim wanted Kris to see her as Kim Kardashian and realize how important she was and kiss her feet. I like that Kris told Kim the truth and was open with her. I also like that Kris was willing to compromise and not just Kim's lap puppy.
  • Kim didn't want Kris at all. Kim acts like Minnesota is in the middle of nowhere. Last I checked, Minnesota had a working airport with flights to and from LA and New York. If Kim really wanted to make it work, a la Khloe and Lamar, she would make it work. If I was a Minnesotan, I would be offended. It may not be New York or LA but I'm sure it's more than hick town.
  • Kim didn't want Kris' stuff in her house. That big house and she couldn't find any room for his stuff or his dogs. Kim was very rude to the dogs and rude to him. She knew the marriage wasn't going to last, that's why she didn't compromise.
  • There's a lot of copy and pasting going on here. Some of the scenes look re-shot, inserted a la Kim and her mom's car scene, and edited to show Kris and the marriage in a less than favorable light.
  • Nothing went on in this marriage that didn't go on in the engagement. Kris always spoke his mind, was always about his career, and wanted to compromise about Minnesota. It's not like things were perfect when they were engaged or dating and they changed, things were always amiss. Kim didn't want to be single, so she married Kris. That's it. Kim should have never wasted that man's time, or her own. They should have screwed for a few months and let that be that.
  • Everything was about Kim. The People magazine special edition and the wedding special was all about Kim. Was there a pic of Kris in there? Did he matter? I agree with Kris when he said, you could insert any groom into this picture. It was not about Kim and Kris, it was about Kim. She knew that man wasn't staying around long, which is why she didn't compromise or change her last name.
  • How much did they pay Kourtney to cry like she cared about Kim's trivial problems? If Kim was my sister, I would have told her to shut up and get over it. Harsh, but if your biggest problem is the marriage you never wanted failing, consider it a blessing. Kim has a lot going on for her. She's rich, beautiful, and successful. Those may be superficial, but Kim is superficial and she has all the things she's ever wanted and there has to be a trade off somewhere. When you sell your soul to live a superficial life, I doubt you're gonna have anything worthwhile in your life.
  • By the end you can tell Kris was over it. He may have been less over it than Kim, but there were scenes and pics where it looked like he could shoot himself and be happy.
Unless Kim finds that lap puppy, she's going to be single. Kim has tainted her public image with this marriage. I think she tainted herself. She made it look like it was all about the money, which I think it was. Kim didn't even try. I could see a year or even 6 months but the papers didn't even get a chance to settle in the system before she filed. 72 days is nothing. She didn't want that man from jump street and everyone knew it but him.

I Have a Problem With This Pic

I think it's cute that Nahla and Oliver Martinez get along and I'm not knocking the kiss, my problem is with Halle. This custody battle that she has going on with Gabriel Aubry has caused me to lose respect for her. I believe that Halle wants Gabriel to go away but he won't. Do I think he's completely innocent? No. But I think she wanted his sperm and for him to leave her and Nahla alone. His name is not on the birth certificate but that's his fault for letting that go down.

I don't think it's fair that Gabriel can't even sit next to Kim Kardashian but Nahla can be so lovey-dovey with her mommy's boyfriend. Not her fiancee, or husband, just her boyfriend. Let this have been Gabriel's girlfriend and Nahla engaged in a kiss, know they would be in court tomorrow. Halle is a hypocrite and she's trying to show Gabriel that he can be replaced. Gabriel can't be alone with his own daughter but this man can be? How does that make sense? I also believe that Halle is staging these photo-ops. I think she's trying to show Gabriel that her and Nahla don't need him.

I hate custody battles like this. If Gabriel is a good guy with good intentions for his daughter, then let him see his child with the same restrictions that you have. If Halle doesn't think that Gabriel is father material, then she shouldn't have laid down with him. If Gabriel does have the anger issues that Halle says he is, I would bet it's from her pushing him so much. Even the mellowest of people have a breaking point. I also don't think that Halle should keep Nahla from her father. If she's concerned, why not have supervised visits until the court rules? Too much is going on her and the only concern should be Nahla, not adult concerns masked as a child's.

Basketball Wives Season 4 Promo Pics

Why does this look like a bad recreation of the Real Housewives of Atlanta promo ad? I shouldn't say bad because bootleg is the better term but yeah. There is no cohesiveness at all in this pic. Everyone is wearing different colors and they all looked photoshopped together. Tami looks pretty and Evelyn should have picked another dress. I like the color but that dress makes her look like a linebacker. I don't know if I like abs on a woman. I like the Janet/Beyonce abs, I hate the abs Evelyn has going on. They make her look like she's doing testosterone shots. Not a bad pic but could be better.

Who Told Nick Cannon He Was Sexy?

Um, yeah. I see a lot of things when I look at Nick Cannon. I see successful, cute in a dorky way, church boy, but sexy is not one of them. This pic is not sexy at all. What is Nick doing with his lips? It's like he went to the Barbizon school and modeling and he's trying out pose #5.

Now this pic is sexy. If I saw this, we may actually have to talk. But that above picture is not sexy. Nick Cannon has never given me sexy and he needs to stop.

Jaden Smith Gets a Haircut

Although I like Jaden's full fro, I have to admit that this look is giving me life. #notacougarorpedophile. This is an upgrade. I approve.

RHOA S4 E12

  • Why is Marlo so dressed up for a 22 hour flight? I understand wanting to look nice but you're on this flight for a day, there is no need to look cute. Why does she need so much stuff?
  • NeNe, your prejudice is showing.
  • Did they actually let Phaedra book the trip, or are they pretending they did? I know that Phaedra did not pay for this trip.
  • Kudos to Marlo for trying to change her life and becoming a socialite. That is all I will say about that.
  • Marlo's voice disturbs me.
  • Marlo needs to stop with the Emily Post for Felons. It's annoying and I would be ready to leave her behind. No one wants to spend a trip learning about etiquette.
  • I love that Cynthia shade. Phaedra talking about kings and queens while wearing a Marshall's robe. Too funny.
  • I need Phaedra and Marlo to sit in the corner. Phaedra and her thing about vice presidents and kings and queens, and Marlo and her etiquette for felons.
  • So Sheree feels uncomfortable inviting them to a "stranger's" house but she doesn't feel uncomfortable telling Cynthia, Marlo, and NeNe they couldn't go? Sheree, go sit in that corner with Phaedra and Marlo.
  • I want Marlo to go home. She is acting like she was invited and she should have the privileges of people who were invited. She's lucky that Phaedra didn't pay for the trip and there was an extra seat and bed in the hotel, because Kim didn't go, or she would be waving them bye from the airport.
  • Every time Kim, and Kroy, come up on the screen, it feels like a different show. Kim doesn't need to be on this show. It does nothing for her and she does nothing for it.
  • Brielle is an episode of 16 and Pregnant in the making. Brielle is how old and she's at her boyfriend's house? Okay. I'm not saying restrict her because most 14 year old's have boyfriends but Kim seems too okay with it. I hope they have put proper precautions in place.
  • We need to have a corner for reality parents too involved in their children's lives. Kim's dad, Kandi's mom, Mama Braxton, Mama Jones, and Frankie all need to go in this corner. Maybe they'll befriend each other and get lives of their own.
  • Why does Kim's dad look like a bootleg Dr. Phil. He sounds like a bootleg Dr. Phil too. I'm wondering what he is talking about. He just needs to be quiet.
  • I hate to call Kim lazy because I know she works it, but I keep saying that Kim is not doing any work that she does not have to do. The most Kim does is pump milk for KJ, Kroy does everything else and now she wants Sweetie to do everything else. I know being a mom of 3 is hard but it is her baby. Kim has found a way to successfully get through life without lifting a finger.
  • Is Cynthia actually getting a backbone without Peter there? Is she saying something less than total admiration and agreement?
  • These women are mid 30's to mid 40's right? Just making sure.
  • Is Marlo the Miss Joyce of this episode? Stop putting yourself in things that don't involve you. She barely knows these women.
  • Cynthia how old are you? Why do you feel the need to immediately run and tell NeNe that you were invited Sheree's friend dinner party?
  • Why does Marlo feel like she should be invited to this dinner party? They don't know you. You're not even supposed to be here. You're a guest of NeNe, she invited you not them. Marlo, have several seats.
  • I guess Marlo is trying to make this permanent gig because she is going hard on Sheree. Marlo's read was funny, but out of line. She doesn't know Sheree and she has no reason to be as pressed about this dinner party.Sheree didn't know she was coming and she has no reason to invite her.
  • Yeah, Cynthia you should have kept your mouth shut.
  • This is the strangest fight I've ever seen. I feel like I'm watching a fight from Shady Grove Hospital.
  • NeNe gets the side eye about that argument comment. Why is NeNe trying to break up a fight?
  • I know they spent a lot of money on photo-shopping for Kim on that pic because she looks nothing like that. The only place Kim has ever looked like a human barbie is in her head.

Beyonce, Alice Walker, and Sojourner Truth

I'm ready for the stans. Is Beyonce comparable to Alice Walker and Sojourner Truth? Hmmm... Let me first say that Rutgers University is reaching by even placing Beyonce, and maybe Alice Walker, in a category with Sojourner Truth. Now that I've said that, I will say yes and no. I respect Beyonce's hustle. She works hard and she has changed the lives of numerous women. She has boosted their self esteem, broken records for women of all races, and she has inspired a generation. Beyonce is a positive force. She has never been in any personal scandal. She doesn't have a negative reputation, she's been in a stable relationship for 10 years, and she has a baby born out of a loving union of two successful parents. If I had a daughter, Beyonce would be her role model.

The no part comes with Beyonce's line of work. I'm not saying that being a musician isn't important but I can't say Beyonce has changed the game with her music. She has made people step their game up, but she hasn't done anything that hasn't been done before. Beyonce is a tried and true formula. Light skinned black girl, flinging big blonde hair, in a tiny leotard. Beyonce has not broken any type of mold, and frankly, she's safe. Beyonce is a manufactured product. The Beyonce we see today is different from the Beyonce of old. The Beyonce of Destiny's Child days actually had a personality and an opinion, now I can write a Beyonce interview. She has no opinion on the political issues of today, I don't know if Beyonce is actually registered to vote, and she's too safe. Her people took everything that has "worked" for creating stars and did it for Beyonce.

Beyonce does not fit into the mold of Alice Walker and Sojourner Truth, and it is an insult to put her in the same category. Alice Walker changed the way people read, Sojourner Truth changed the way people looked at black women. Their impact will be felt for years to come. Just because Beyonce can sing, dance, and fling yaki like no other, doesn't mean that she's fit to be in the same category of people who forever changed literature and black women's rights. I doubt people will be singing Beyonce songs in the next 20 years. Beyonce is not doing what she's doing to impact a generation and change the world, she's doing what she's doing because it sells records and puts money in her pockets. That is what will keep Beyonce

What Happened to Nick Carter?

I guess this is what it feels like when your childhood crush grows up. I know some of you are saying, "who?" But Nick carter is the blonde Backstreet Boy. If you're still saying who, then go Google because I can only give you so much. My 13 year old self is crying. I used to love the Backstreet Boys when I was 13, to the point of obsession. I had posters on the ceiling, wall, all their CD's. Millennium was the first CD I bought; I wish I knew what happened to it but anyway. I used to love Nick now I'm like what happened?

Excuse the rudeness but Nick Carter looks like he got his butt whopped by the ugly stick. He's 32 and he looks 52. He looks like a Swedish  porn producer from the 70's. He looks old and used up.

It took me awhile to find that pic because Nick has been having a hard couple of years. He's, um questionable looking, without all the airbrushing and make up. He's not aging well. I hope this is not due to drugs. If it is, I need him to get help ASAP. I need the rest of the Backstreet Boys to stage an intervention because this isn't going well.

Random Thoughts Of The Day

  1. Sorry I haven't been posting a lot. There aren't many things going on that I care about. I don't care about Rihanna's ashy "Thug Life" tattoos, Mary J. Blige's tantrum, and something else happened that I don't care enough to remember. The news has been who cares? Or maybe I haven't been feeling that great to care.
  2. I think I need a man. Yes, I'm a woman. I'm bored and lonely and I've been cooking every night because I'm so bored and lonely. I like to cook but yeah, I need a man. I never thought I'd actually say that because I've been single for a while and fairly happy. But bored and lonely isn't cutting it. I think I may be getting stronger. Put that one together.
  3. Where did the republicans find these nominees? It's like the try-outs for the alternate cheerleading squad. It looks like they picked the best from the worst. Is it too late to find new nominees?
  4. Newt Gingrich isn't cut out for this. He's like Herman Cain. How could anyone possibly question his personal life? The man is a hypocrite with all capital letters and is not fit to be anyone's president. You have 3 wives, 3 religions, probably a couple mistresses now, and you don't expect people to ask about that although you were the headhunter in the Bill Clinton-Monica Lewinsky thing. Yeah, exit stage left.
  5. Who are Mitt Romney's advisers and why do they let him speak? Really? The man and the dog story. I'm not partial to dogs but this even made me scoff in disgust. How can Mitt Romney tell the story of his dog on the roof for 12 hours and justify it by saying he liked it? I hate having air blow in my face, which is why I use the sunroof or back windows, so I can't imagine having air blow in my face for 12 hours at 70 mph. Then the dog had diarrhea and he hosed him off and put him back on the roof. If that's not a sign...
  6. R.I.P Joe Paterno. I wish I had more to say about it but I don't.
  7. That governor with her hand in the President's face. It pissed me off, but what could I say about it that hasn't been said. We know they're racist, even President Jimmy Carter said they were, if that name doesn't ring a bell, get off this blog and go Google. I know the president is trying to get a second term, but the things he puts up with is a shame. Can they even respect the man as the president of the free world? That's why I say people don't grow up, they just get older. We're seeing people who didn't grow up, they just got older. They're very accomplished kids.
  8. Why do celebrities believe they are entitled to awards and accolades? First we had Keyshia Cole and Trina crying over BET award nominations and now Mary J. Blige feels the academy was being "mean." Really? When did releasing a song for a soundtrack mean that you're entitled to an Oscar nomination? I don't even remember the name of the song. No one owes you anything despite how hard you worked or what you think you're owed. Mary J. Blige, have a seat.
  9. Can the Ravens keep any coaches? Every time we get a good defensive coordinator, he goes to coach for someone else. I guess it's good for them and I guess it's a compliment for the Ravens because they pick great staff but really? Congrats to Chuck Pagano, who just got hired for the Indianapolis Colts.
  10. Cam Cameron is staying as offensive coordinator. Err, congrats to him.
  11. I need to do a post on internet gangstas but these crumbs will do. I watch a lot of Youtube videos, because it's free and I don't have cable but those comments are a trip. People will insult charcter, mothers, kids, unborn kids, and call people they've never met the most inhumane names because of a comment. People sip that e-courage and feel the need to go hard. I shake my head and tell them to calm down. It's Youtube and you're e-fighting because you didn't like someone's comments? Is that all you have to do? Let's not go into the comments on blogs.
  12. On the other hand, we have people who use Youtube and blogs for validation. Everyone tries to get a top comment and it's annoying. People need lives outside of the computer. Some people shouldn't be allowed on the computer.
  13. Does Myspace still exist? If so, how are they making money?

BFV S2 E11

  • These people go to therapy a lot. I know Dr. Sherri is enjoying the WEtv and their checks because they're always in therapy. If you go to therapy several times a week and you're still messed up, I don't know what to tell you.
  • I've been told that I always run away but I feel like if I'm not getting along with you to the point where I can't even give you some quarters or get along enough to plan a four minute performance, maybe we should take some time apart. Take a week or two and then come back when the anger isn't boiling.
  • Why is Trina crying? I know it's hard to tell her to leave but why is your husband taking care of Towanda and her 3 kids.
  • I, and everyone who watches this show, tried to give Toni the benefit of the doubt but I have nothing. Toni's issue with Traci is her weight? I can see if it was a health issue but it isn't. Traci isn't fat, she can't be more than a size 10, which is normal. So if Traci lost 20-40 pounds now, would all Toni's issues with Traci disappear with that fat? Traci's stomach is not even that big. I could see if she was obese but she isn't. Toni, exit stage left.
  • Why does Tamar always have to talk when no one is talking to Tamar? Traci's feelings are hurt, can she have her hurt feelings for a few minutes? So Traci's feelings are hurt and everyone jumps on her? She's allowed to have hurt feelings.
  • Traci's about to hand out long over due butt whippings.
  • I agree with Traci. I don't think it hurt that they were signing the contract, I think it hurt that they were willing to make amends for Trina but they couldn't for Traci. I would be hurt too.
  • Tamar needs to have a seat. She put herself outside the "get fresh crew." I think they banished Traci. There is a difference. Traci has never been in anyone's group.
  • If the show has changed the dynamics of their relationship, why keep doing the show? I know the money is not worth it.
  • I agree with Trina. You can tell people who make money, Trina, and people who spend it Tamar. Has Tamar ever made her own money?
  • I think they tried to play Traci on that skipping thing.
  • I think "why we got to wait" is a complaint. Where is the complaint jar?
  • I wouldn't tell Tamar jack.
  • How do you date your husband? Isn't that backwards? As far as I know, they're still legally married.
  • Why does Tamar feel the need to call Toni by her first and last name? I don't think Toni "flaked" because she didn't want to be sisterly, she flaked because of health issues.
  • I take it back. Toni could have at least asked her sisters to go to the spa with her.
  • Let's be real, Toni doesn't want to be around her sisters like that.
  • Towanda needs some. She was too graphic in her description of holding the gun.
  • Backbroke Mountain? Gotta love Tamar.
  • Traci looks just like Mama Braxton. Mama Braxton is pretty, so I don't know if that's a compliment or insult.
  • Friendship bracelets? What are we two?
  • "If I move myself back in, can we make love regularly? This negro tried it. He should be begging her to move back in, not giving her conditions. I can't take Andre seriously. He even looks like a joke.

Evelyn Vs. Jenn

I guess it's about that time. Basketball Wives is about to come back on and they need to generate some interest. Everyone knows that Evelyn and Jenn are no longer pretending to be best friends and their feud has been playing out in the blogosphere. Yesterday, it erupted so bad that Chad Ochocinco, the biggest twitter and attention whore ever, had to step in and tell Evelyn to chill.

"Let me tell you what she’s mad over ‘cause this always comes up. She hates the fact that I’m really good friends with Nene [Leakes] and she hates the fact that me and Mashonda are good friends. I feel like it’s all coming from a place of hurt, and she’s turning it into anger. Why do you care who I’m friends with? Like, that’s ridiculous," Jen explains. "I live in New York. You live in Miami. I don’t care who you hang out with. I’m kinda over it because I just feel like I’m at a point at my life where I’m trying to get rid of negative energy. To me, I feel like it’s something so minuscule. It’s not like I slept with Chad. It’s not something irreparable. It’s something stupid that you’re mad over. If you really are mad because I have other friends, I think that’s completely ridiculous."

I think Evelyn won this one. Yes, it's an immature argument by two women who are knocking on 40's door but still Evelyn killed me when she went on Jenn's contacts. I don't think Evelyn should be going in on anyone when she's walking around with long, blonde tracks. Just saying.

Let me break down what happened between Evelyn and Jenn. I think Evelyn was never really Jenn's friend. Everyone saw this friendship failing. Who pressures their friend into leaving their husband? Who dogs their friends husband on national TV but treats their friend like a dog when she states her opinion about her friends new man? Evelyn wanted Jenn to be a lap dog and she was that for years. Jenn was so far up Evelyn's crotch that I'm surprised she could do anything. Anyone who can say such mean things about someone they once called their friend, was never a friend. Jenn consider yourself lucky and move on. Evelyn is obviously two and you need to keep her name out your mouth. Twitter and E-beef is dumb. If you have something to say to each other, especially at nearly 40, you need to call each other and say it.

Tyler Perry's Key to Success

Tyler Perry recently gave these words of wisdom. It's long, so I highlighted the parts that I deemed pertinent.   I love Tyler's Perry's message: Focus. Too many people decide that one thing isn't working, so they change but they fail to realize to have success and mastery in anything, you must be diligent and willing to work hard.
There’s only one answer for that and I say this all the time in the press but people cut it out of articles or they don’t want to print it or they don’t want to say it. The truth be told, it was nothing but the grace of God. Nothing But The Grace of God.
You can plant seeds all day long; you can go around giving your business cards to people. You can go around knocking on doors and auditioning; you can do all of that every day of your life and for most people nothing happens. When a seed is planted in the ground all you can do it water it. You can not control the sunshine. You can not control the weather and you can not control what the locus will come and try to destroy. All you can do is plant your seed in the ground, water it and believe. That is what allowed me to be in this position right now.
I would not stop believing. I planted my seed; I worked really hard. I had one idea and that was to do a play and all that other stuff came. My only focus was to do one play and I knew if I could get that to work, everything else would come to pass. There are so many people who go into so many directions. This week they’re doing this and next week they’re doing that. Then the next week they’re they’re going to be in Real-Estate and the next week they’re going to open a salon. Those kinds of people are all over the place and I usually try to get them to focus. Focus on one thing –one area. Put all of your energy into watering one area. If you spread the water across many, many seeds you don’t have as much water for one seed. So focus on one thing, make it your priority and stick with it no matter what.No matter how many people told me no. No matter how many people lied to me. No matter how many times I put the show up and nobody came. I remember when I tried my very first show, I worked my butt off and saved $12,000 tax returns through H & R Block money.
I worked hard and saved it myself. I rented 14th Street Play House; put that show up and thought that 1200 people would come over that weekend and 30 showed up and I knew everyone of them. But I didn’t stop; that didn’t deter me. That was in 1992. In 93’ the same thing happened -94’, 95’, 96’, 97’ up until 1998 the same devastation of nobody showing up in the audience. It was still one show a year working with promoters trying to get the show up and nobody showed up but I didn’t stop.
What I say to you now, looking at me here, I am a human being; there is no difference between my humanist and your humanist. ( I'm not a grammar Nazi but I think he meant humanity. A humanist is a person having a strong interest in or concern for human welfare, values, and dignity.)  The only thing is if you’re trying to get there you can not stop believing in any way. No matter what anybody says, no matter what anybody tells you, you have to know it beyond knowing it. When something is for you, there is a feeling that is deep down inside of you that will not allow you to let it go. It will keep you going when you can’t keep even keep yourself going.
That’s why the mantra here at Tyler Perry Studios is a place where even dreams believe because there comes a time in your life where you’ve worked and you’ve stressed and you tried to get there and you couldn’t on your own but you have a dream and that dream has to take on the belief for you because you can’t do it by yourself. So what I would tell you is this, don’t stop; narrow your focus to one idea –[only] one and make it work. That will give birth to all the others. All you can do is plant the seed and water it. God himself has to give the increase. Only God can make the sunshine. Only God can make it rain but if you planted the seed then you’ve done your part.I wish you so much success in 2012. Anything you want is possible. God knows I’m a living witness. Please feel me. Please hear this from my heart. Anything you want is possible. If I didn’t believe it I wouldn’t take the time to send this message to you. Take care of yourself.

Ray Lewis' Post Game Speech

Sunday will go down in every Baltimore Ravens fan's heart as one of the most heartbreaking days ever. I think the city is still shocked and there will definitely be a Super Bowl lock out. Ray Lewis, who is the original Raven and the last of the Super Bowl 2000 teammates, gave an emotional speech that put it all in perspective. As sucky as watching that kick go to the left was or how hard it is to hear Super Bowl promos, if this is your biggest problem, then consider yourself lucky. There are worse things that could happen.

Kelly, We Need to Talk

Sigh... There's a reason why Kelly Rowland is stuck in pop star purgatory. She has the talent but she waits months between singles. Girl, we need to talk.

I know that people try to blame your lack of success of Matthew Knowles and his obvious favoritism towards Beyonce, but girl, you have new management and a new record label and your album still only sold 70,000 copies in the first week. Has your album even gone platinum? Gold? Rubber? It's not Beyonce, it's you. First, you need to get off Beyonce's crotch. If you want people to focus on you, stop discussing Beyonce and Baby Blue Ivy in every interview. I swear you say Beyonce's name in every sentence. We get it. You love Beyonce and you're grateful for her because she let  you sing back up in her group and it  changed your life. Okay, let's move on.

Where is your promotion? You need to take notes on this from Beyonce. Even when she promoted your album, she promoted her album. I bet you didn't catch that. You promote Beyonce more than you promote yourself. I wikipedia'd you and I found you've released 7 singles off of Here I Am and I can only name a few and I can only sing one. Girl, you need to do better. Where are the videos? Where are the performances? Where are the DVD's? Where is the promotion?Did you even perform "Motivation?" I know you don't have Beyonce's money or budget, but you may need to start doing your own videos. Start promoting yourself. Why are you promoting LaLa and Kim? I'm happy you have friends but look at Beyonce. She doesn't have any friends and she's successful. She's about her business, as you should be. Also, why are you still an opening act? You've been in this business for 15 years, you should not be opening for people who were still in elementary school when "No, No,No" first hit. If you have to put together a club tour or perform in Wal-Mart parking lots, a la Keri Hilson, do it because you should not be anyone's opening act. You also should have called your album "I Am Here" because you're 15 years into your career and you just need to do better.

Money Lessons from Terrell Owens

GIFSoup
I feel like I've heard this story too many times. Why do people feel like they can put their financial futures in someone's hand? There are no friends in business. Let's say that again, THERE ARE NO FRIENDS IN BUSINESS. We can be friendly but friends, nope. In business everyone is doing what's best for them, even if that means putting you at a disadvantage. It's a shame that Terrell Owens made $80 million but he's crying broke.
"It's not a matter of having lived too large -- he was never the type to stockpile Ferraris or build himself a compound; the flashiest car he ever drove was a Mercedes, and while he indeed racked up a few homes that cost as much as $4 million, the only crib he classifies as even mildly sick by pro-ball standards was the one he bought in Atlanta to live in during the Philly off-season.The problem, he says, is that he's by nature too trusting, loyal to a fault, despite everyone's carping that he's selfish. It's the sad old stereotypical song of the up-from-nothing black athlete: He let other people take care of things."
It's good to enjoy your money. I believe that one should enjoy the fruits of their labor, but you should also save for a rainy day. Why is it that every animal stores food for later but humans? Even mice store food for later, it may be poison but they make sure they have a stash. Money will not flow forever and it's not hard to blow through $80 million. People support their immediate families, their friends, have multiple baby mamas, houses in multiple states, hundred thousand dollar cars, and other things. People buy these things and think they're gonna maintain the same level of income, which is impossible. At some point the money has to stop flowing. Payments are for poor people. Yes, I said it. If I made a lot of money, you would not catch me renting or making a monthly payment on anything but utilities and taxes. I would own my house outright, my cars, and everyone else would have to support themselves. What do you think happens when the money dries up? The friends dry up too. Why go broke for people who don't really care about you?

Also, don't just hand off your financial future to someone because they're your friend or you think "you have it like that." You need to know account for every penny yourself. You need to know how much comes in, how much goes out, who gets paid what, how much everything costs, etc. You have to stay on top of your money. I don't have any sympathy for T.O. Get better people in your corner. Why is he crying over his lost career? He has reality shows and he's acting.

Do Successful Men Get an Infidelity Pass?

On Monday's Love and Hip Hop, I know, I know, I have been pulling a lot of inspiration from a show I don't watch but hey, inspiration is inspiration. Last night, Chrissy, who has plenty of relationship issues herself, advised Emily (eyeroll), that should overlook Fab's cheating because it comes with the lifestyle. Can we get a Scooby Doo, err?

This is the just of what Chrissy told Emily:
"A man is going to do what he's going to do," but has to be loyal and smart enough to never let his main girl see it, feel it, or hear it."~Chrissy
Emily girl, I need you to get new friends because these people don't have your best interest at heart. Let's break down this statement. Does Emily count as Fab's main girl? After ten years, he has yet to claim her publicly. He even said on a radio show that Emily knows that it's "not like that." I beg to differ because of the looks of this show, it seems like Emily is hoping that it will be "like that." If it's not like that after ten years, it won't be like that ever. Despite that Jedi mind tricks that us women have fallen for, a man knows if he wants to be with a woman from day 1. When he walks away from the initial meeting or first date, he has a good idea of where this woman will fit in with his life and he also has a good idea of the boundaries in the relationship. A woman walks away from this meeting knowing the same things. It does not take years of moving slow or him needing his career together before he marries or commits because I know men who didn't have two nickels to rub together but they married the woman they knew was the one. Jedi mind tricks, ladies. Learn them. Him telling you he needs time is giving you false hope while allowing him to do what he wants.

Isn't Emily feeling his infidelity? She has to stare Kimbella in the face, she's friends with Adrienne Bailon, who everyone knows he was smashing but Emily, and now she has Erica, who I believe was smashing Fab when she appeared in one of his video. Look around girl, you're feeling, seeing, and hearing his infidelity. He may not bring home any babies or STD's but girl, you're feeling it. Fab also does not have to respect Emily enough to hide it because he knows he could probably bring another woman home, ask her to scoot over, smash the chick with Emily in the same bed, ask Emily to escort her to the door, and then smash Emily. He knows he can escort Adrienne to a red carpet and come home to Emily like it's nothing.

Not all men cheat. A man who really loves a woman will not cheat. If he really treasured your relationship, he would not cheat. He would be too scared to lose you or ruin the relationship, that he would be strong enough to resist temptation. There is always going to be younger women, new booty, new friends, etc but he has to love and respect you enough not to cheat. Thich Nhat Hanh once said,"true love always brings joy to ourselves and to the one we love. If our love does not bring joy to both of us, it is not true love." I don't think Emily, Chrissy, or Kimbella have joy.

Men cheat regardless of socio-economic status. There are poor men who can't keep it in their pants, as well as rich men who faithfully come home to their wives every night. It depends on the choice the man makes. Cheating is a choice. If you find a woman who knows that her husband is cheating, regardless of whether she is seeing it,  who says she is happy, I'll show you a woman who is lying. There isn't enough money, a house big enough, or a car fancy enough, to make her sleep well while her husband is out with another woman.

Whitney Broke?

I wouldn't say this would surprise me if it was true. Drug additions are very expensive and can deplete a bank account very quickly. Imagine if you had a $1000 a day habit but were making $10,000 a day, then you wouldn't feel it. Now factor in the fact that your career has slowed down and now you're making $10,000 a month, that can quickly deplete a bank account. According to Radaronline, Whitney's once estimated $80 million dollar is all but gone and Whitney is depending on the kindness of strangers. Her label is fronting her cash for an album that has no clear release date and her industry friends are keeping her employed with a roof over her head.

I wondered why Whitney would take the role in Sparkle. I know it has a lot of big names in it but it sounds like a flop waiting to happen. It also seems like something that she would have shunned at her peak. Do I have to say it? Crack is a helluva drug.

Khloe Kardashian's Father?

I had a Flava Flav moment. You remember when he used to go "woooooooow" for like thirty seconds? No? Yes? What can I say about this that I haven't already said? All I can say, is that I think we have a match. Khloe does look a lot like this man, who is named Alex Roldan. That doesn't explain the hazel eyes and blonde hair, but still, she looks a lot like this man. Khloe can't win from losing can she?

Here is the item from BlindGossip:
Meet Alex Roldan, Kris Jenner’s hairdresser. This is Khloe Kardashian’s biological father. He worked on a music video that Kris Kardashian did for her 30th birthday called “I Love My Friends”. Alex is now a hairdresser in West Hollywood. While Robert Kardashian was only 5’7″ tall, Alex is a much larger man, standing approximately six feet tall. BTW, Khloe’s middle name is Alexandra.

Kris is taking this another step forward. She wants to introduce Khloe’s real biological father as a plot point on a “very special episode” of one of the Kardashian shows. We’re going to spoil her surprise by introducing him here first. (FYI, Kris did tell Khloe who the man is already, so this is not coming a surprise for anyone in their family. Plus it’s all leaking out this week, despite Kris’ desire to keep it a secret until showtime to make the ratings as high as possible.)

I think I am speechless. If this is Khloe's father, which I kind of believe because he and Khloe do look a lot alike, then Kris tried it by giving her Alexandra as a middle name. I wouldn't be shocked if Kris tried to make this a KUWTK special. I would be disguisted, but not shocked. This is something that should be done in private. Let's define private because the Kardashians obviously don't know what the word means. According to dictionary.com, private means, not publicly expressed. Do you hear that Kris? Not publicly expressed. It would be a shame if Kris really is that money hungry that she would sell something like this. I would be appalled if Khloe allowed her to do it. They really should handle this as a family.

I wonder if this means that Rob Jr should be tested because people say they look alike. Either way, I'd like to see Kris Jenner explain this one. Does the woman have any shame? Don't answer that. If the woman will make this into an hour long special for profit, then my guess is that shame is on the bottom of the list.

Babies With No Commitment

Last night Kimbella confirmed that she and Juelz Santana were expected baby #2 less than two years after having baby #1. Congrats to them. The issue I have is that Kimbella was crying over Juelz's infidelity but she decided to give him another child with no marriage and no commitment. This is not going to be a lecture about having kids out of wedlock. This is not even going to be completely about Kimbella, it's going to be about having kids without a commitment.

About four years ago, when I was twenty-one and fresh out of college, one of my former co-workers asked me when I was going to have some kids. Not when I was going to get married or even get a boyfriend, but when was I going to have some kids. I can't remember my response. It was probably about trying to get stable, etc, but the question shocked me. Have we become that accustomed to having kids without stable relationships that it's expected. I can name numerous people who have kids without commitments. I'm not talking about a marriage, I'm talking about a stable relationship, one where mommy and daddy are in a loving and respectful relationship. Juelz and Kimbella's relationship is shaky and he's in jail at the moment. Not to mention that Juelz hasn't been doing too well on the career front. Who would want to subject three children to that? Emily and Fab have a son but no commitment. After ten years, he still won't call her his girlfriend. What's the point in bringing children into that? I have a cousin who has a new baby every time he has a new girlfriend. Some of his babies and girlfriends overlap. That's a problem.

There are too many diseases out there to be having raw sex with someone who knowingly cheats on you. Why push out multiple babies for someone who has no immediate plans for commitment? Back in the day, if a man knocked a woman up, that was his wife for life. Even if he didn't love her, that was his wife. And yes, a lot of women trapped men with babies and still do. In today's culture, where babies out of wedlock is acceptable, that's a tricky move. The man has a moral and financial obligation to the baby but society no longer puts a moral obligation for the woman. I believe there are so many fatherless children out there because the man wasn't planning on the relationship with the woman being long term, so he ties his relationship with the baby to the woman. If he's not with the woman, he's not there for the baby. Wrong, but true. Babies shouldn't come into the world with a job. They shouldn't be born with the job of making daddy commit to mommy, or mommy commit to daddy, or to repair a failing relationship. I want people to be careful with their bodies. If you're going to have sex, then use birth control, a condom, something. Like Steve Harvey says, you know how to get pregnant and you know how not to get pregnant.

Aretha Franklin Calls off Her Wedding Again

I'm not for anyone rushing into marriage but haven't Aretha Franklin and Willie "Catfish" Wankerson been together for at least twenty years? How long does it take one to decide that they want to spend the rest of their life with you? I know there is no rule book on it but I've heard people say that if a man hasn't brought up marriage within a year and a half, your chances of getting married are slim. I also remember Aretha and Catfish being engaged at least five years back. That never happened. How many times can you back track on engagements? If you don't wanna be married, don't pretend, just be content with screwing and have your affairs in order. This will make for an interesting episode of gots to be real
"Will and I have decided we were moving a little too fast, and there were a number of things that had not been thought through thoroughly. There will be no wedding at this time.  We will not comment on it any further because of the very personal and sensitive nature of it. We appreciate all of the many well wishes from friends."
I have a feeling that the chances of them having a wedding was slim. They just announced it three weeks ago. 2012 is definitely the year of break ups. I wonder if anyone will actually get and stay married this year...

Rihanna and Chris Brown at the Same Club?

Hmmm. This piques the interest but it may be reaching because Karrueche was there also. Last night TMZ, spotted Rihanna, Chris Brown, and Karrueche Tran leaving Greystone Manor last night, in separate cars before tongues start wagging more. Yeah, Rihanna and Chris may be getting it in. I'm sure they had to see each other because the club can't be too big and they were probably in VIP. They had to at least speak. Maybe Karrueche is in on this. Maybe they like three-ways. Hey, if you can't beat them, join them.

Roseanne Goes In On Beyonce Stans

Last night, Roseanne Barr did the ultimate no-no, she dissed Beyonce. Of course that didn't go over too well with Beyonce's every loyal stans. Here is the tweet that started the mini war:
I lost ALL respect for Obama when he dissed Etta James in favor of Beyonce
No respect for women at all, I thought-Etta was a hero 2 women. I loved Etta James -and yes that did it for me – He hurt her when she was ill
I have not listened to anything Beyonce or Jay-z has said or recorded since they did that to Etta. Their arrogance was disgusting.
Then like the Bey-hive they are, the stans came swarming but they swarmed the wrong one. Roseanne had some funny insults for the stans.

Although watching Roseanne drag Beyonce's stans on Twitter was funny, I must say that she is wrong in this case. Beyonce singing at the inauguration was over three years ago and Obama had the person he wanted singing for him there. It's also not Beyonce's fault that the media is making Etta James' death about her. Beyonce released a statement giving respect to Ms. James but she was cursed if she did, cursed if she didn't. I also understand that Etta James may have been Roseanne's friend but what President Obama did at his election three years ago, has nothing to do with her. I don't think that the stans realize sarcasm when they see it. I think that apology was sarcastic.
