Kanye West's Porche involved in a car accident and stolen

Isn't it some mess to loan someone you're $100,000 car only to have them crash it, flee the scene leaving you with the bill, and then it's stolen? This is what happened to Kanye this week in Hawaii.

The latest news evolving is that Kanye West's car has been involved in an accident near Diamond Head, Honolulu.

Early Saturday morning, just after 4 am, a neighbor reported hearing a loud noise.

"Just a tremendous crash. As if a small building were coming down," said Chris Cooper, who lives across the street from the crash scene. "I looked over here and saw the car impaled in the garage," he said.

Cooper said he never heard the sound of brakes and was the first on the scene.

"I walked over to see if anyone was dead or people in the car because I could smell liquids and I could hear them draining and no one was there," said Cooper.

Kanye West has been in Hawaii recording his latest album but was not in Hawaii at the time of the accident. Sources say his cousin had permission to drive his Porsche Panamera that was found at the scene. However the car is registered to Kanye West. Witnesses told police they saw three men running from the scene after the crash. The latest news is that police say in the auto theft report that the car was reported stolen shortly after the accident.

The residence crashed into was multi-million dollar house being renovated and is currently unoccupied. West has been renting a home near the crash since December.
