Ever since my Sister2sister magazine stint two years ago, I've been following several blogs. Necole bitchie, Bossip, Theybf, Sandrarose, crunk and disorderly, and concrete loop. One trend I tend to see is alot of hating. Readers hate on the post subject, bloggers hate on bloggers I see you sandra rose and necole bitchie, and artists hate on artists. Hating may not be the right term, let's try jealousy.
A few years ago, while working an on campus job at Bowie State University, I was talking to my boss about a "situation" and he told me the opposite of love is not hate, it's not caring. Think about it, if you didn't still love the person, you wouldn't be hating on them. When you're over a situation, you find that you don't care. But anyway, I say that tangent to say, the people you hate on are the people you wanna be. If you hate their job, friends, SO, car, it's because you see what's lacking in your life. I believe that you can learn from those you hate. For all the females that hate Nicki Minaj, take notes on her. She did on Lil' Kim and perfected the style.
