Or what I call, Superbass part 2. The song is okay. It sounds like something Nicki threw together so she wouldn't lose her crossover appeal. I don't turn the station when the song comes on but it doesn't give me life. The video is confusing. I would love to see that treatment board because it has to be all over the place. I'm guessing that aliens invade Hawaii and they're women in bikini's and Nicki Minaj has a party and sings on the beach. That's pretty much it.
Everything looks so fake and forced. Nicki doesn't look happy in the video. She's trying this poppy thing that doesn't seem to fit her. I'm not saying that Nicki needs to stay in the "mixtape" lane but she just looks uncomfortable.

Kenya Bell- Choices Video review
- I actually like the song. It's very radio friendly and sing-a-long-able. It's catchy and would be a hit for any name brand singer. Kenya's voice is nice.
- The solo shot isn't bad.
- Kenya isn't the best dancer but the choreography isn't bad.
- the energy is a bit low. The club goers look like they're counting down until they get to go home.
This video isn't bad at all. I like it. It could use some tightening in a few areas but this video isn't anything we haven't seen before. It's a basic club video. I feel like the only reason the other BBW's went in on Kenya is a, they felt like she had no power and b, they don't like her. If I was Kenya, I would not agree to another season.
P.S: I'm watching the "Sweet Dreams" video and while it isn't as bad as Sthuzie and Evilyn were making it out to be, I do think that Kenya should sing more and dance less. She looks very stiff and confused.

Chris Brown as a...Superhero?
If you're #teambreezy then you may want to bypass this video. In this cartoon, by the creators of Charlie the Unicorn, no, I haven't heard of that either, America's love affair with Chris Brown, the convicted woman beater, is depicted. Yeah...
I'm far from #teambreezy but can we stop pretending that Chris Brown is the only person to beat a woman? Please and thank you.

Jay-Z Ft. Kanye- N%$&@ In Paris
"What does the even mean?" "No one knows what it means but it's provocative, gets the people going." My favorite part of the song. The video is okay. I like how Jay-Z and Kanye tried to do something different than the usual lazy concert video. I'm wondering why drop the video months after the song dropped and has been in constant rotation forever. But why not? I guess they wanted to do something for the fans. I can see the Illuminati theorists all over this one.

Thoughts on Basketball Wives 4 Supertrailer
- The circle they fought so hard to keep Meeka out of is definitely a straight line. There is no more unity or friendship between these women.
- Evelyn is looking very manly. I don't know if it's because her working out is making her look wider but her being buff is not a good look.
- There is Shaunie being quiet again acting like she didn't orchestrate all this drama.
- I love how Evelyn calmly told Jenn that she was going to punch her in the face.
- Looks like Royce is stepping her game up this season. I love that burgundy dress she's wearing in confessionals.
- I'm hard pressed to believe that Evelyn and Chad are actually getting married. I'm actually harder pressed to believe that they'll stay married. Maybe they actually will. It seems that they have an agreement. This relationship has boosted their notoriety, which is what they both want, and I think as long as Chad keeps his jump offs out of the spotlight and Evelyn behaves right, then they'll stay together as long as they need to.
- Evelyn is too old to be fighting everyone. Shouldn't she be calmer now that she's in a good relationship? She seems angrier than ever. I guess with her newly negotiated contract, Evelyn has to produce more to justify the work less, make more scenario she now has. Either that or all is not well with her and Chad. I think it's a mix of both.
- I like the curly hair on Tami. It's definitely a keeper.
- Wow people definitely take Jenn for weak sauce. The new girl is trying to beat her up and now Evelyn is only filming with her because she wants to stomp her in the ground. I think it may be time for Jenn to move on. Every season there's a new target. Season 1, it was Royce because she was a dancer, then Suzie because she can't hold water in the ocean, season 3, Meeka because she came in trying to do too much, and now it's Jenn. I wonder who it will be season 5.
- Did Evelyn really walk across the table? That is disgusting and immature. Was it really that serious? Evelyn is an embarrassment to herself and her daughter. She is doing too much.

Super Bowl Commercials
No I did not watch the Super Bowl. I did check in with the score periodically but I didn't watch the game. I heard the commercials were lackluster. Here are a few for your viewing pleasure.

Eddie Long....
I don't like to judge people but I think there is something wrong with Eddie Long. I don't know if he's pumping mind control gas into New Birth but he has very loyal parishioners. The man has done very shady things but people fail to catch on. First, he is accused of molestation by four men, it is revealed that he was having a relationship with Centino Kemp, his wife files for divorce and he puts out a statement recanting her claims, it was found that Eddie Long was the beneficiary of his own charity in the late 70's and reaped a salary, home, and car from the charitable donations of well meaning, and naive, folks, and now he crowns himself king of New Birth. That is wrong on so many levels. If I was a parishioner, I would have to ask myself what is the purpose of the church. Is it about God or Eddie Long? I think it's about Eddie Long. The emphasis should always be on God and not the man on the pulpit. If Eddie Long was called as he claims he is, he would feel comfortable taking glory from God. If I was a member of New Birth, I would find a new church home and let Eddie Long take the one way trip to hell alone.
According to this article, http://www.huffingtonpost.com/rev-wil-gafney-phd/a-biblical-scholar-rebuts-claims-eddie-long-coronation-video_b_1249602.html, the Jewish ceremony that Eddie Long partook in did not make him a king at all. There is something wrong with Eddie Long and something even more wrong with Eddie Long's followers.

Letoya Luckett's Love, Life, Music
I'm happy that Letoya was able to escape from Destiny's orphanage because she's doing very well for herself. She's in movies, has endorsement deals, and she has a boutique in Houston. Not to mention that Letoya is a very sweet person. I had the chance to interview her in 2009 and she was very sweet.

Kelly, We Need to Talk
Sigh... There's a reason why Kelly Rowland is stuck in pop star purgatory. She has the talent but she waits months between singles. Girl, we need to talk.
I know that people try to blame your lack of success of Matthew Knowles and his obvious favoritism towards Beyonce, but girl, you have new management and a new record label and your album still only sold 70,000 copies in the first week. Has your album even gone platinum? Gold? Rubber? It's not Beyonce, it's you. First, you need to get off Beyonce's crotch. If you want people to focus on you, stop discussing Beyonce and Baby Blue Ivy in every interview. I swear you say Beyonce's name in every sentence. We get it. You love Beyonce and you're grateful for her because she let you sing back up in her group and it changed your life. Okay, let's move on.
Where is your promotion? You need to take notes on this from Beyonce. Even when she promoted your album, she promoted her album. I bet you didn't catch that. You promote Beyonce more than you promote yourself. I wikipedia'd you and I found you've released 7 singles off of Here I Am and I can only name a few and I can only sing one. Girl, you need to do better. Where are the videos? Where are the performances? Where are the DVD's? Where is the promotion?Did you even perform "Motivation?" I know you don't have Beyonce's money or budget, but you may need to start doing your own videos. Start promoting yourself. Why are you promoting LaLa and Kim? I'm happy you have friends but look at Beyonce. She doesn't have any friends and she's successful. She's about her business, as you should be. Also, why are you still an opening act? You've been in this business for 15 years, you should not be opening for people who were still in elementary school when "No, No,No" first hit. If you have to put together a club tour or perform in Wal-Mart parking lots, a la Keri Hilson, do it because you should not be anyone's opening act. You also should have called your album "I Am Here" because you're 15 years into your career and you just need to do better.

Nicki Minaj, We Need to Talk
That is why her album has been pushed back three months. That is unusual for an artist of this caliber. Young Money knows this album is garbage and they're pulling the plug so she can revamp/Nicki Minaj is one of musics biggest stars and the only female rapper who is making an impact. Nicki has no competition and she's feeling herself. It's time for Nicki to grow beyond these songs. I don't know where she's going to grow to but she can do better than "Stupid Hoe." In my opinion, Lil' Kim is not worth the breath it takes to make a diss record. Lil' Kim's last number went #1 on pay pal and even that was disputed by pay pal. When is the last time you heard a Lil' Kim song on the radio? Lil' Kim is a joke, she doesn't need anyone making diss records about her.
It's time for Nicki to grow up and stop resting on her laurels. She may have accomplished a lot but she can easily be ousted. Nicki needs to focus less on being a cartoon and more of being a rapper. There is a reason why "Stupid Hoe" has more dislikes than likes. Yes, she has the perfume, clothes, OPI, and whatever else but she is becoming a punchline. Do better, Nicki.

Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day
I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge Martin Luther King Jr. To many of us, it's an extra day off but he was more than that. He was a man who fought for the civil rights of all people, not just those of African descent but people of all hues. We should take a moment to respect his memory and acknowledge the sacrifices he made for humanity.
Here is the video of his last speech:

Karrueche vs. Rihanna?
According to Karrueche, there is no beef and the video is two years old. Okay. I have two problems with her explanation. 1, why is this video just surfacing after two years? With all the dirt being dug up on Karrueche, I know that someone would have found it sooner or at least stated it. 2, if an ex was sub-tweeting ans supposedly had secret plans to meet up with my boyfriend, I would have beef with her. I think most women would have beef. I still think Rihanna is Chris' first choice and I think if it wasn't for public opinion and possible fall out, Rihanna and Chris would still be together.
The only advice I would give to Karrueche is to stash the money instead of blowing it shopping and flossing. Do people still say flossing? Anyway, she needs to take a class from Kim of RHOA and make that money stack. Yes, it's good to spend it now but one day, Chris will leave her and she needs something to fall back on. Kim bought a house, car, furniture, and lives a pretty nice lifestyle on Big Poppa's dime. All this without having worked in ten years. All gold diggers need to take a notes on that.

More Thanksgiving Randomness
I keep trying to get away from this blog because I have stuff to do and only a few hours to do it, but this is too much to pass up. In the words of one vlogger, Ludacris is pulling a Lil' Kim. Don't know what I'm talking about? Last week, Ludacris put out a diss record aimed at Big Sean and Drake because he felt like he wasn't getting enough credit for implementing a certain rap style. I don't care enough to google the exact cause of the beef but Ludacris felt that Big Sean and Drake weren't giving credit where credit was due. Big Sean and Drake were basically like, what did we do to you? I kind of agree with them. I am an avid blog reader and did not see any sparks of beef between Big Sean, Drake, and Ludacris. As far as I know, his name hasn't been in their mouth. I believe Ludacris may have heard something that he deemed offensive, but I also believe that Ludacris needs publicity. Yes, I said it. Ludacris is not irrelevant, he's doing acting and he has some business deals, so he's doing things but his rapping has fallen off. His last big hit was, "My Chick Bad" and I forgot how long ago that was. No one was checking for Ludacris until this beef with Big Sean and Drake. Here is the video for "Badaboom." Draw your own conclusions.

Beyonce ft. J. Cole
It seems that Mama-to-be Beyonce has gathered some random people her friends in a random trailer park for her new video, "Party." True to her hard working nature, this is the third video that Beyonce has dropped this month. And yes, Andre 3000 has been exchanged for J. Cole and new scenes were added recently so her belly changes sizes.

T-Pain feat. Rick Ross - "Rap Song"
Here is the visual for T-Pain's "Rap Song" (featuring Rick Ross), which is single #? off of Teddy P's (yet to be released, steampunk inspired) fourth album, rEVOLVEr. Todd Angkasuwan directed this frozen in time trip through the club, as T-Pain referentially woos the lady of his affections in an attempt to convince her to "make love to a rap song". Co-starring Rick Ross, with cameos from Mistah F.A.B., Lil' Eazy, DJ Khaled, Flo-Rida, Shad "Bow Wow" Moss, Mack Maine, Gudda Gudda, Lil' Twist, and Sophia Fresh.

Buy "Rap Song" on iTunes here.

Soulja Boy feat. 50 Cent - "Mean Mug"
Soulja Boy and 50 Cent's mutual admiration for each other has extended beyond a XXL cover. Their musical collaboration, "Mean Mug" wasn't originally slated to be on Soulja Boy's third album, The DeAndre Way", Soulja must of had a change of mind.
"Mean Mug" was just added to Soulja Boy's third album The DeAndre Way, which was pushed back from November 2nd to the 16th and now (finally) to the 30th.
Speaking OF their XXL cover...
...(I know it's a little late in innernets --yes, I said innernets-- time, but) 50 Cent's look reminds me of something from my childhood. I just can't figure it out...
Umm, yeah. That's it! ;D
Down low, we have the behind the scenes footage from 50 Cent and Soulja Boy's
1. First Day Of School
2. Touchdown
3. Hey Cutie (feat. Trey Songz)

6. 30 Thousand 100 Million
7. Mean Mug (Feat. 50 Cent)
