RHOA S4 E11

• Marlo really does sound like a man. I tried to avoid coming to the conclusion but she has a really deep voice and sounds like a man in transition. 
• I need someone to tell me who Marlo is and why is everyone "respecting" her so much? It seems like NeNe is kissing her butt and I need to know why. All I know about Marlo is that she lives off of rich men, well I might add, and a she has a collage of mug shots. 
• Why is NeNe so up Marlo's butt? Can she breathe?
• I feel like I'm watching a bad high school movie. Tall against the small, didn't we stop doing that in high school? These women are in their mid 30's to mid 40's, time to grow up.
• Hey Sweetie. I was wondering what happened to her. They said Kim freed fired her, but she's here for now.
• Did Kroy really think that Kim will get up early to do work? Why do I have to keep saying that Kim will not be doing any work that she does not have to do? Kim will lipo, wrap, fast, and whatever other crazy methods there are to lose weight. Don't expect Kim to be running on anyone's treadmill
• Did Kroy really allow Kim to spend $150 on some mummy wrap?
• Kandi is putting me to sleep. I don't care about her weight loss journey. 
• Do I have to agree with Peter? I do kind of believe that if they were going to Europe, or a place with a lot of, um, non-colored people, Kim would be there. 
• Peter and Cynthia annoy me. I want her to drop him and move on. Why does Peter always have to lecture Cynthia likes she's 10? Cynthia is here now, why not do something with her while she's here? I think Peter likes to complain and this gives him a reason to complain.  
• Apollo coming in from work makes me give this show a side eye. It felt like there was a director going, "action" and Apollo entered. He didn't have a briefcase or anything to signal that he just came in from working. 
• That statement didn't sound right. "The only person with a rap sheet I hang out with  is my husband." I thought Apollo was arrested for "Martha Stewart-esque" crimes. I didn't know he had a rap sheet. Phaedra should reevaluate that statement. 
• Doesn't Apollo see Aidan more than Phaedra? I remember a few episodes back when Phaedra and Apollo were feeding Aidan and he starting crying and Phaedra panicked because she didn't know what he wanted but Apollo knew immediately. That piqued my interest. 
• NeNe has an assistant? Why do people who do nothing all day have assistants? What is NeNe's job title? NeNe and Kim don't need assistants.
• NeNe is not rich. I'll admit that she hustles but the appearance fee for Celebrity Apprentice is only $25,000, and I'm sure she spent most of that on her son's car. NeNe is making moves and doing big things but she knows that saying she is "very rich" is pushing it. That's why she tried to change it to "very rich in spirit." Whatever. 
• I hate these race based statements because white women have just as hard of a time getting along as black women. Have you watched Mob Wives, the other housewives, and other reality shows? It's not just black women. 
• Kim and Kroy, eye roll. Don't care. He's going to work, not to death row. If he didn't go to work, I know Kim would be complaining about Kroy not working. They know that the lockout would end eventually. Next. Kim and Kroy bore me and they're such an odd couple. I feel like they're trying hard to convince people that they're in love. 
• Maybe it's Kim's fault that nothing works out as planned. 
• Why does Kim's dad sound like Dr. Phil? 
• When Kim's dad said "are you gonna get naked?" I bust out laughing. He's another reality show parent that needs something aside from their child. 
• I guess NeNe found her way out of Marlo's butt because next week they're arguing. 

Heidi and Seal Separate

Wow. I can admit that I never saw this coming. It' just goes to show that you never know what's going on in someone's home. After back and forth speculation about the status of their relationship, TMZ said Heidi was filing for divorce and People said, via some source, that although they were experiencing a rough patch, Heidi and Seal were working it out, looks like TMZ wins this battle. People need to stop questioning TMZ because they're usually right.

It's sad to see marriages end. I would love Heidi and Seal to work it out because they seemed so loving but this may be an example of keeping the relationship private. Heidi and Seal were very open with their love, even having a reality show, and that may have caused the break up. Maybe they got married too quickly. Heidi and Seal met when Heidi was pregnant by another man, Seal became an instant father, and they became engaged less than a year after meeting, and married a year after they met, not to mention that they had a baby every year for the first three years of their relationship. I don't think they had time to get to know each other. It is very important to get to know each other without all of this extra stuff. I would love for them to work it out for their kids sake but you don't know how deep the rift is. I wish the best for everyone.

Lessons From the Ravens

You may not be a Baltimore Ravens fan or you may even be a New England Patriots Fan, but the Ravens loss to the Patriots was heartbreaking. It was a game that should have been won but two missed plays caused it to be lost. After the game, I was sick to my stomach but not deterred. It was something about that game that renewed my hope in the Ravens, there was also something that to be learned. There is always lessons to be gained from loss.

1. We lose as a team, we win as a team-Ray Lewis. Yes, Ray Lewis will be back again. It's obvious that he believes in his team and he isn't ready to give up yet. People always point the finger at Cam Cameron and Joe Flacco but this game shows you that it takes a team to win. There is a reason why a roster is 53 people. Look at the Indianapolis Colts, they have one of the best quarterbacks of this era and they can't win without him. Yes, Cundiff and Evans missed crucial plays but it takes a team to win. You have to have a good team and everyone has to be ready to perform. Your team is very crucial to whether you win or lose.There is no room for error.
2. Sometimes it's not your time. The irony of this thing is that I believe in the Ravens more than I did before. I feel like this is just an example of divine timing. I don't know why the Giants and Patriots get a rematch but they do. If it was the Ravens' time, they would have won. I think that's why Ray Lewis isn't ready to give up on the Ravens and I think that's why John Harbaugh was so optimistic. A loss like this sucks, but it teaches you a lot.
3. You learn a lot from failure. No one wants failure to be a constant teacher but what do you learn from success? I would have loved a Har-bowl but it wasn't time. Just like the Ravens came back stronger against the Steelers, I feel like they'll be stronger this year. The Ravens are not a team that takes failure well. Say what you want about them, but the Ravens will be back next year and I bet they'll win. No one likes to replay their losses, but I feel like this game should be on 24/7 at the facility. This should be the only thing they watch. By kick off 2012, they will know this game backwards and forwards. They will learn from this game and never do it again. 
4. Victory will be even sweeter. I feel like the Ravens can be a dynasty. I've always said when they work out their kinks, but I realize all teams have kinks. The Ravens tried to play to their advantage. The Patriots aren't perfect, I feel like they won by their failure not because they out played the Ravens, and neither are the Steelers. What these teams do is play to their advantage. They know what they do well and they know how to execute it. They don't give room for other teams to exploit weakness.
5. A loss is a chance to revamp. This is similar to lesson 3 but when you lose, it gives you a chance to go back to the drawing board. What did you do well? In this case Joe Flacco, Cam Cameron, and the running backs played well. What needs improvement? Billy Cundiff under pressure and the receivers Once you determine the factors, decide what you want to do. Do you want to get new receivers and replace Cundiff? How will you win next year?

As painful as this loss is, I can name a positive, I think the Ravens earned respect.The Ravens played well but in the end it wasn't their time. I know they'll be back next year and hopefully playing in Super Bowl 47. The word for this year was Relentless, I think it should be the word for next year. Go Ravens. And no, I won't be watching the Super Bowl. 

Nicki Minaj, We Need to Talk

I've never been a Nicki stan. I find her a bit annoying and gimmicky. Although I do the "Super Bass" shoulder shake when the song comes on and I know most of her verses, you'd be hard pressed to find me at the record story buying one of her albums. When I saw that Nicki Minaj dropped a new video for "Stupid Hoe" I immediately shook my head. I've only listened to the song in passing and it made me shrug. This song sounds like a filler. Nicki is giving basic for this to be her sophomore album.

That is why her album has been pushed back three months. That is unusual for an artist of this caliber. Young Money knows this album is garbage and they're pulling the plug so she can revamp/Nicki Minaj is one of musics biggest stars and the only female rapper who is making an impact. Nicki has no competition and she's feeling herself. It's time for Nicki to grow beyond these songs. I don't know where she's going to grow to but she can do better than "Stupid Hoe." In my opinion, Lil' Kim is not worth the breath it takes to make a diss record. Lil' Kim's last number went #1 on pay pal and even that was disputed by pay pal. When is the last time you heard a Lil' Kim song on the radio? Lil' Kim is a joke, she doesn't need anyone making diss records about her.

It's time for Nicki to grow up and stop resting on her laurels. She may have accomplished a lot but she can easily be ousted. Nicki needs to focus less on being a cartoon and more of being a rapper.There is a reason why "Stupid Hoe" has more dislikes than likes. Yes, she has the perfume, clothes, OPI, and whatever else but she is becoming a punchline. Do better, Nicki.

Vanessa Bryant Divorce Settlement

Yes folks, she got half. Vanessa Bryant has walked away from her 10 year marriage to Kobe Bryant with $75 million, three homes, and monthly child and alimony support checks. Dang. Makes you wonder why one wants to go to college when they can stand outside of a stadium or country club, marry a rich benefactor, wait for him to die and get everything,  and get half. I shouldn't negate it to that because I'm sure Vanessa has done things to earn this money but the girl is set for life and she doesn't have a high school degree. Yeah....
