Lil Kim Vs. Nicki Minaj

Ever since Nicki Minaj hit the scene with her infamous butterfly pose, people have been comparing her to Lil' Kim. Although there is no known affair with Lil' Wayne, there are similarities between the two. A few days ago, at an upstate NY concert Lil' Kim supposedly took shots at Nicki Minaj.

I came up in it a little bit self centered but did I kill a Queen- Nicki Minaj "Hello Goodmorning Remix." I think this is a shot at Lil' Kim who calls herself the Queen Bee.

Let's break this down and see who wins.

1. they both have unusual flows: Kim has a deep flow with occasional sounds and a rise in pitch, Nicki Minaj can sing, rap in a british accent?, and has a rise in pitch.

2. they're connected with Diddy: not sure if this is a good or bad one, but Nicki Minaj is collaborating with Diddy and is supposed to be managed by him, insert side eye. Kim worked with Diddy for many years before breaking off their relationship in favor of Atlantic records.

3. Collabos: although everyone from Mariah Carey, Diddy, Gucci Mane, Ludacris, Usher, Beyonce and more are knocking on Nicki Minaj's door for a verse, Lil Kim's celebs friends aren't too shady. Lil" Kim has worked with the hottest people from her time: Christina Augilera, B.I.G, Pink, Mya, Ray J, The Lox, Total (this was impressive in the 90's)

4. colorful attire: Lil' Kim and Nicki Minaj both love wigs, although I must admit that Nicki Minaj's wigs are a bit more creative. Nicki Minaj's attire is a bit more appropiate than Lil' Kim's who often opted for string as attire.

5. Albums: sorry Nicki, mixtape's are hot but you have no leg to stand on in this one. Lil' Kim has released four albums during her career, all top 20 and you have yet to release one. I hope you release one soon.

6. Rapper affiliation: Lil' Kim slept with B.I.G and got on with Junior Mafia and Diddy. Nicki and Wayne started working together and he put her on with Young Money. It doesn't hurt that Drake is the hottest rapper out right now.

7. plastic surgery: we know Kim doesn't look the same as before she's reportedly has a tummy tuck, nose job, breast implants,cheek implants, collagen injections, botox injections, eye work, hip and butt implants, and skin lightening. She doesn't even look like herself anymore. Nicki Minaj supposedly has butt implants, a nose job, and fake teeth. Nicki wins this one because her surgeries are an upgrade, Kim's are a downgrade.

Kim loses this battle. Why? because Nicki Minaj has made her relevant again. If Nicki didn't steal her style, no one would be talking about Kim. She should be thanking her not taking cheap shots. Nicki Minaj is one of the hottest rappers in the game and there is no denying that. Until Kim puts out something hot and reclaims her spot, I'm done with this ish because Nicki wins.
