Side Eye of the Day: Sheree Leaving RHOA

“After four solid seasons of helping Bravo build the show into its most successful Housewives franchise, I have decided to leave. The direction the show is going in is no longer a fit for my lifestyle. I’m tired of the fighting and the cattiness.”
It's official. Sheree has confirmed that she will not be returning to the RHOA for a fifth season. It's also being whispered that Kim is not apart of the season 5 cast either but those are just rumors.

Sheree gets a side eye for this statement because we know she is lying. Sheree is a proven liar and this is no different. 1, she makes it sound like she was behind the scenes making the show. Yes, she created drama but she was never the most popular character on the show. 2, who leaves their job with no back up plan? Sheree is saying she's doing fitness and her clothing line but she had four years of free Housewives publicity to do it and now she decides to do it. Gurl, please. 3, this show has been catty since day 1 and Sheree was the queen of it. She has been the catalyuzt for all the drama this season and most of it on the reunion. Most of the big drama filled moments were Sheree driven. Now she's brand new and above it? Once again, Gurl bye.

Sheree needs to have a seat. She was fired, we know it and she knows it. I don't know what she will do now because Sheree is not a hustler. Neither are Kim and NeNe. The only reason NeNe has something is because of her popularity and connections. NeNe has never worked on anything for more than one season. What happened to the charity? NeNe doesn't have side hustles like Kandi, Phaedra, and Cynthia, who I believe can be a hustler in the right environment. NeNe has never worked hard for anything. NeNe is a social climber who got lucky. Like I said several reviews ago, Kim has found a way to have the perks of life while doing minimal work. She let Big Poppa do the heavy lifting and now Kroy is doing the heavy lifting. Kim did not even want to do the work required to become a good singer. She let Kandi and her partner do all the work to make her sound good and then she "forgot" to pay her.Kim is not doing any work that she does not have to do. She has two housekeepers, a chef, a nanny, an assistant and no job. Go Kim.

The reason why Sheree has failed at everything is because she's not a hustler. She's another Kim. Sheree wants the perks without doing the work. Sheree needs to ask Kim her secrets because Kim is a millionaire for doing nothing. The reason why Sheree's businesses have failed is because she doesn't want to put the work in. She didn't even plan on her own fashion show. Dwight handled most of that. Sheree is lazy and entitled. She feels people should just give her things because she's Sheree. She doesn't feel like she should pay her debts. She feels like people owe her. Sheree is too old for that mentality.

Here is a list of ten things Sheree can do now that she's been fired (from lsahttp://www.lipstickalley.com/f213/top-ten-things-sheree-can-do-now-she-has-no-job-388823/)

10. Build Chateau Sheree herself and save on contractor fees
9. Become the new Sweetie/Slave/Kim's Assistant
8. Become NeNe's stylist
7. Work for Phaedra's funeral home picking up the bodies since Appollo doesn't want to do it.
6. Comb her kids hair
5. Become a watiress at Peter's Bar One
4. Borrow a yard and have a yard sale
3. Work at Dulce
2.Go back to school
1. Become Lawrence's shampoo girl

Thoughts on George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin

There is a color that trumps black, white, Asian, or Hispanic and that color is green. Money is the ultimate neutralizer. If you become rich enough, your race no longer matters. Many people think that George Zimmerman has not been arrested because he’s a white/Hispanic man who shot a black boy. The real reason why he hasn’t been arrested is green. George Zimmerman is well connected and wealthy. His father is a retired judge and his mother is a court magistrate. They have the wealth and the connections to make this go away. George Zimmerman’s daddy has been making his messes go away for years and now he’s trying to make this go away and he was pretty successful. I’m sure George Zimmerman was well coached in what to say and his dad greased a few palms to make the self defense thing stick. The Zimmerman family is powerful in Florida and I’d be shocked if daddy’s poker buddy actually lets his son’s friend end up in jail. George Zimmerman’s strory makes no sense but they’re trying to sell it as truth. Its on public record from at least 5 witnesses that George stalked Trayvon, called him a racial slur, and Trayvon was screaming before the shot was heard. That’s at least manslaughter.

I have a few questions about the pr spin the Zimmerman family is putting out there. 1, why did George Zimmerman have a gun if he was going to the store? I get having protection if you're in a nice neighborhood because people like to rob rich people but he was in an upscale neighborhood. If it was in his glove compartment, why did he feel the need to get it out to confront Trayvon Martin? Also, why did he get out the car if he was going to the store? This man was looking for something. 2, who is this black friend that was able to quit his job and go on this media tour? It was proven that this man barely knew Zimmerman. 3, if George Zimmerman was as injured as they're portraying him to be, broken nose, beaten so badly that he was about to pass out, how did he have the sense to pull out his gun and use it. Guns don't go off accidentally. It takes 11 pounds of pressure to fire a gun. Also, how did he walk into the station without any help and why were there no obvious injuries or treatment. This man didn't have a bruise or a band aid. And if he was that beat up, why did he wait until the next day to get treatment? None of that makes sense.

The leaks are coming from the police department. The Zimmerman family is fighting back. They are leaking slanderous information about Trayvon that has nothing to do with the case or even that night. That night, Trayvon was walking a strange neighborhood with a pack of skittles and an iced tea for his brother and he had the misfortune of running into George Zimmerman. No matter what Zimmerman supporters say, Trayvon did not have to answer to George because he was a volunteer neighborhood watch person, who according to one of his many stories, wasn’t even on duty at the time. George Zimmerman had no badge or credentials. He has no legal power at all. He did not have a right to shoot Trayvon, which is why they’re using the self defense argument

I think that George Zimmerman's lawyers are taking the wrong approach. The entitled, "he came for me, so I had the right to shoot him" isn't working. The "I'm the victim" isn't working either. I think George Zimmerman should humble himself and admit some guilt. He also needs to call Trayvon Martin's family and tell them what happened. He's calling Fox news and all types of people, why not call the family of the victim and tell them what happened? I'm sure they would appreciate it.

Random Thoughts on The RHOA S4 P1 Reunion

I was able to watch the reunion and it was a mess. So good but so messy.

  • I think I said in one of the reviews that Chateau  Sheree would still be Chateau Le Dirt come the end of the season and I was right. Everything Sheree does fails and it's always everyone else's fault
  • Also, how can Sheree put a no trespassing sign on land that she doesn't own? And what are they trespassing on? The cops would laugh if she tried to enforce it. They would have to but it would still be laughable. What would they be taking? The dirt? The sticks?
  • NeNe with "neverland" was priceless.
  • NeNe is a hater. I get that she doesn't agree with the girls and what they do, but why the negativity? She doesn't have to buy Kandi's toys or like it, but why the animosity? NeNe loves to stick her nose up at everyone. If you can't congratulate, fine. Don't say anything at all.
  • NeNe is the queen of playing the victim. She reminds me of my sister who loves to do something to you but once you do the same thing to her, she gets upset and has to tell. NeNe is very hypocritical and if she doesn't like when people talk about her kids and other things, then she shouldn't talk about other people's kids.
  • Kudos to Kim for baby #2, which I heard was a boy. #nopointsforpsychicrose. I still think Kroy got a raw deal because no 25 year old is looking for an instant family, especially not a rich one like Kroy.
  • Kim was lying about the furniture thing. Didn't she say that Big Poppa paid for it in a past episode? I know nurses make great money but not enough for Versace dishes and Italian furniture, plus Kim hasn't worked in 10 years. Someone had to pay for the furniture and I'm sure it was Big Poppa. Kim was also lying about it being years since she dealt with Big Poppa, it has at most been a year and a half. She's another one acting brand new.
  • I love how Phaedra put Sheree in her place. It's everyone's fault but Sheree's. I heard that Phaedra had to have her assistant chase Sheree around Atlanta to get her retainer check. And don't let Sheree tell you that it's a lie because there were witnesses, who quickly went to the internet to confirm this. Did Sheree expect special treatment because they were friends? Most people expect 50% payment before doing any work. Sheree knew that, she was trying to get over like she tries to do everyone else. I also applaud Phaedra for giving that check back because it would have bounced.
  • Can we confirm that what was in the room was an air mattress? Most of us slept on one before getting furniture and established. It was an air mattress. And if she can't confirm that, can she answer as to why her son was ungroomed. Also, where was her other daughter?
  • Does anyone remember that Sheree's older daughter was introduced as her assistant in season 1? I didn't either but someone reminded me. How shady?
  • I have nothing to say about Cynthia.
  • Kudos to Kandi for becoming a business woman and expanding her brand.
  • I like what NeNe said about using this show to expand. It's the truth. Cynthia, Phaedra, Kandi, and NeNe have all used the show to grow their brand and make money.
  • I can't stand Sheree and I won't miss her next season. She has no story line or money.
  • Let's acknowledge that NeNe is not as rich as she wants us to believe. She quit the apprentice and only made $25,000. That's not rich and I doubt her deal with Glee is very lucrative. She can't be making more than a million, if that. NeNe is not rich. She needs to have several seats.
  • Andy is so shady. He throws the best shade.

Good Man vs Great Man

Let's talk about "Good men," and "Good women," and what that embodies. In the morning, I listen to Steve Harvey's Strawberry Letter and it sometimes irritates me. The answers are very chauvinistic, even Shirley's. Somehow the blame always falls on the woman and it boils down to she doesn't respect that "good man" or appreciate him. It's like how dare she question anything because she has a good man.

This term has been irritating me for a while. I get we all want a "good man" but what does that mean? Now "good man" means any man that has a job, something going on, treats you decent, whatever. That's a good man. In this man shortage,we as black women need to keep our "good men" no matter what. There is no one clear definitions of what a good man is. The one thing no one discusses is what takes a man from a "good man" to a great man. I feel like the label "good man" is a fluff. It doesn't mean much nor does it seem to hold much weight. Just because a man is a "good man" doesn't mean he's a great man or the man for you. We need to stop resting on the fact that a man is a "good man" and start looking for great men. And just because he's not the "good man" you want, doesn't mean he's a great man.

The difference between a "good man" and  "great man" is the "great man" embodies all of the s.p.i.c.e.s.

  • spiritual- it's normal to question religions and change your spiritual beliefs but any good and grown person, I believe that 25 is when the learning curve of stupid mistakes and wishwashiness ends so anyone 25 and above should have defined spiritual believes. If you don't believe in anything or want to worship trees, fine you should at least know where you stand spiritually. You can't make a life long union if you don't know these things.
  • physical-I don't care what the experts tell you about sex and relationships, sex is important. Marriages fail because people aren't having sex. You and your partner should be sexually compatible. You should want the same things and know where each other stands. You should also know what you like and not be afraid to express it.Another part of physical includes attractiveness. You should be attracted to that person. That doesn't mean they need to be drop dead gorgeous but you should find them attractive
  • intellectual- can you hold a sustainable and somewhat stimulating conversation with this person? Are you intellectually compatible? This doesn't include degrees and credentials because some of the smartest and most intellectually gifted people have never attended college.
  • career- there comes a point where you should know what you want to do with your life. If it's nothing, then own it, at least you know where you stand. The person you love and want to have a long lasting relationship with should have some direction. They don't have to be a multimillionaire or CEO but they should be doing something that they enjoy and have a vague idea of where they want to go.
  • emotional-anyone wanting to get into a relationship should have their emotional baggage sorted and dealt with before. Although communication is great, you're not a therapist and your job isn't to fix anyone. This person should come mostly fixed before they get to you. If you have emotional issues or are damaged, and it's affecting how you have relationships, it's okay to handle them before bringing someone else in. Also, are you even ready to give what a grown relationship requires?
  • social-not everyone is a social butterfly but you should have some knowledge of social rules.

Random Thoughts on Evelyn and Jen

I know it's been a while but I'm back. Let's skip the formalities and get into this post. I don't have cable but I have been able to keep up with the Basketball Wives and this Jen and Evelyn thing is ridiculous.
  • I need Evelyn to have a seat and Jen to learn to fight. I don't care how prissy Jen is, no one should be able to put their hands, or clutches, on your person and they get away with it.
  • I need someone to breakdown the animosity Evelyn has. This reminds me of elementary school when someone said, "I'm not your friend no more," and you cried or said "fine, I didn't want to be your friend anyway." Is Evelyn trying to beat Jen into submission, so that she will be her friend again? Why does Evelyn want Jen's friendship so bad? If Jen wants to leave, let her go. Evelyn is treating Jen like a runaway slave.
  • Someone said that Nia was only brought on for that scene and I believe it. I believe the agreed to give her extra coins if she comes and stirs drama. That slap didn't even look real. It was too staged and if Jen doesn't want to be Nia's friend, so what?
  • I don't blame Jen for wanting more. Evelyn and Jen always seemed like shopping and dinner buddies. You know that friend you call when you want company. Evelyn herself said that her and Jen never had a deep friendship, meaning they never talked about really personal things. In my opinion, Evelyn was never really Jen's friend, it seemed more like a "let's keep my enemy closer."
  • Jen, ain't bout that life? Neither is Evelyn. When Evelyn did the dramatics of running across the table to do whatever she was going to do to Jen, she didn't even make an attempt to go to Jen, she jumped right into security's arms. If you look at his face, he was didn't even know she was jumping into his arms. Evelyn is all bark because if she really wanted to fight Jen, she would have. Evelyn can't fight. For all those who think she can, lets look at the facts, Evelyn has never thrown hands. She's thrown drinks and bottles but never hands. Evelyn is weak. Yes, I said it. Just because someone can run their mouth and throw things, doesn't mean they're strong. They know who to pick on to make themselves look strong. If someone really wants to fight you, there is no talking.

  • Evelyn is miserable. I don't know about Jen's state of happiness but Evelyn is miserable. People who have real joy, don't have the energy to exert so much anger and negativity. If Evelyn has her dream life and is getting married to her "soul mate" why the anger and why is so much energy is spent on Jen. We know what's amiss with Evelyn's relationship, but I bet it's more than that. I bet their marriage only lasts as long as their careers. The only reason they're getting married is because Vh1 is footing the bill. I have noticed they way Chad looks at Shaniece and would be willing to bet that he's made a pass or has done it. I'm sure Evelyn would be okay with it. Cheating is not a deal breaker for her.
