Ed Reed leaving the Ravens next year?

If you know me personally, you'll know that Ed Reed is my favorite Raven, so seeing him go will hurt my heart. But anyway, Ed Reed who may not be able to play for a few months because of hip surgery, spoke to X105.7 about getting a new contract from the Ravens.

"I'm not going to ask the Ravens about anything if I'm not going to play any much longer," he said. "I appreciate the opportunity that the Ravens have given me. I'm not about to ask them for anything if I'm not going to be playing. My focus is to get myself back. I'm coming back for at least for one more year."

Reed currently has a $20 million contract with the Ravens through 2010.
