Media Mogul Tyler Perry is pushing up the release date for his newest movie For Colored Girls who have Considered Suicide when the Rainbow is Enuf from the Martin Luther King holiday weekend 2011 to November 5. Industry insiders are speculating that Tyler is aiming for Oscar recognition. The cast includes Janet Jackson, Whoopi Goldberg, Loretta Devine, Anika Noni Rose, Thandie Newton, Kimberly Elise, Kerry Washington, Phylicia Rashad, Macy Gray, Tessa Thompson, Michael Ealy, Hill Harper, Khalil Kain, Omari Hardwick and Richard Lawson.

In other movie news, new mom Paula Patton will star in Mission Impossible IV. The film begins filming this fall and will be released in December 2011.
