I hope the actual show is as good as the off screen drama. First, we have Jennifer Williams dealing with a paternity suite, which i hate to admit that the baby looks like him. Next, Royce Reed calls the police on Dwight Howard for taking their son from daycare on a day that wasn't designated in their custody agreement. Now, Matt Barnes and Gloria Govan are in the midst of a domestic situation. This is very messy.
Matt Barnes,was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence, Sacramento County authorities said Wednesday.
The name of the woman was not released, but she was described as “a woman who lived with him and with whom he had a dating relationship.” More than likely Gloria or this will be even messier.
Deputies arrested Barnes after responding to what was termed an incomplete 911 call from a residence around 4:16 p.m., according to sheriff’s spokesman Sgt. Tim Curran. Deputies found Barnes and a woman both with visible injuries, but took Barnes into custody after determining he had been the primary aggressor, said Curran.
Barnes was booked into the Sacramento County Jail on suspicion of domestic violence and maliciously obstructing the use of a telephone line, reports the Associated Press. He posted a $50,000 bond and was released.
He is scheduled to be arraigned on Sept. 13, according to authorities.
Barnes, 30, defended himself in a text late last night to Sacramento’s Channel 10 reporter Bryan May, stating: “U know any domestic violence situation 9 outa 10 times the man gets arrested. That’s the case here I was the victim but still got arrested. No matter what I say people are gonna think what they want…”
He later posted on Twitter “DON’T LET YOUR EARS WITNESS, WHAT YOUR EYES DIDN’T SEE!!!”
