Real Housewives of Atlanta Recap

After a year my favorite guilty pleasure, besides "Bad Girls" which is becoming annoying, is back. It's time to watch NeNe, and her new nose, battle it out against everyone else. Let's just say that NeNe will never be unemployed because she knows how to start drama.

The episode starts out with Sheree in acting class, don't all reality stars want to be actors?, and NeNe with the latest issue of some gossip mag where Kim reveals she's bisexual. In today's world that's like revealing I'm black, no one gets shocked anymore. But NeNe interrupts Sheree's class, which the instructor does not look too happy about, to reveal the dirt.

Cut to the next scene, Kim and NeNe have a sit down where Nene skirts around the issue of Kim and her lesbian lover and Kim reveals that Dwight told her that he gave Greg $10,000. Plot line is laid. Kim and Nene bury the hatchet and we see drama brewing.

Kandi and Willis Mcgehee are dating or something like that. We see them rock climbing and sharing a kiss but that's it. Both have denied a sexual relationship, which is fine with me. It's none of my business who they're sleeping with. Some people have wondered if it's too soon for her to date but A.J. has been dead a year and they were broken up. I say date away.

Next, we're introduced to Phaedra Parks and Apollo. How cute! They both have Greek names. They're expecting a baby and he's an ex-con, which we'll see more of during the season. It turns out that Phaedra and NeNe grew up together and her and Dwight are good friends. Dwight is quit the trouble maker this season, someone is looking for a promotion. He tells Phaedra that he put $30,000 into Sheree's show and she didn't thank him or something like that. I have to agree with Sheree when she said he didn't put a dime into it because that show did not look like it cost $30,000 or more. Probably $5-10,000 if that. #justsaying.

The episode ends with a social gathering of an exclusive shoe showing. Sheree, NeNe, and Kim insult the shoes saying they were outdated. I have to disagree because the shoes they were criticising were classics. Pumps are always in style. Anyway, Nene sees Dwight and Phaedra and calls Phaedra a plain jane and says she's never seen fabulous out of her. #shots are fired. Dwight tries to hug NeNe, who throws the $500 check at him, which he promptly rips up. #can I get that? And NeNe immediately gets in his face. Are these 30-40 year old women acting like that? Really NeNe, you're too old for it. I'm a bit over NeNe.

Am I the only one who noticed how they treated Lisa like she never existed? They didn't show her at all on the recap and they only said her name once. Lisa was my favorite because she was real. NeNe is enough drama. I'll miss Ed. He was one of the only straight males on the show and he is a lot sexier than Greg. #Just saying.

Side note: maybe I'm over reality TV. It doesn't do it for me like it used to. I could watch a reality show and enjoy it, now it just feels like it's too much. Too much fakeness, too much fake drama, and too much use of the word fake. Can someone tell me what that means exactly? It'll be greatly appreciated.
