Memorial Day: Tribute to artists who have served in the Military



Mullage members B'Boi and B'Town met while serving in the US navy.



Surprise!The man who battled congress over free speech served 4 years in the US Army after high school.


Jimi Hendrix enlisted in the army in 1961 but it is rumored that he said he was gay to get an early discharge.


90's rapper Mystikal served in the Gulf War




Actor/ Comedian/Motivational Speaker/Model Father Bill Cosby served in World War II as a member of the Navy





90's Rapper and reality TV star, MC Hammer served in the Navy as a Aviation Storekeeper 3rd Class.



Talk Show Host and Motivational Speaker Montel Williams enlisted in the Navy in 1974 and graduated from Annapolis naval academy in 1980. Williams served until 1988 when he began his motivational speaking career. He left the Navy with several honors including the rank of lieutenant, the Navy Achievement Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, and the Navy Commendation Medal.
