Look of the week: 50's glamour

The 50's is a decade known for its glamorous clean looks. Hair was wavy and impeccable, make up was very minimal but sexy all the same, and clothes had a reasonable hemline. If you were a star in the 50's, you had to be perfect. We're going to show you how to modernize your grandmothers era.

Make up: this should be as natural as possible. Eyes should only be lined on the upper lid, eyeshadow should be natural, and mascara is black. The lips are were you get to play around. Add a pop of color to your lip with a lip stain or lip liner.

Hair: waves were in and so was clean swept hair. Try a french bouffant.

Clothes: think modest. The highest hemline was knee length. Lots of poof.
