Artists who should retire

The entertainment business is a funny thing. Well, any unorthodox job is funny because you may be retiring without a moment's notice. So it's a blessing to be able to choose when you retire buit here are a few artists who should retire. The artists who make this list are those whose music is a shell of its former self, movies are lackluster, or need to pass the the reign.
Eddie Murphy:

Sure he was funny in the 80's. He was even funny in the 90's and 2000's but all of his recent movies, except the Shrek ones, have flopped. Eddie is still working based on his past acheivements and it's time to hang it up. Start a production company, host a reality show, do something but it's time to retire.

LL Cool J

I love the way LL licks his lips and his body is better then men my age, but it's time to put down the mic. His acting career is more lucrative then his music career and let's face it, he's a joke in the industry.

Ice Cube

I love Cube's hustle and I love the work he produces but why is Cube still rapping? He hasn't had a hit since the mid 90's and he makes millions off of his films. Stop wasting your money and time rapping. It's not working, stick to TV and movies.

Snoop Dogg:
Snoop, please retire. You may have been in the game for 20 years but your rap skills and music is outdated. I appreciate you taking a chance with "Sexual Eruption," but I feel like you're still hot because of your history. You're trying to keep up with men half your age when you should be evolving.

J.Lo

In your day you were a bad bish. You danced, had hit movies, hit albums, and men following you around like puppies but a certain thing happens when an artist leaves to have a family: hollywood moves on. I don't know who has taken your spot but hollywood has moved on. That is evident from the flop of your movie The Backup Plan and your single "Louboutins." People have stopped checking for you. It's time to move on.

Mariah Carey:

I love your music but you have a choice to make: Move on or evolve. The reason why Mary J. Blige is still relevant is because she's moved on and let Keyshia Cole have her spot. You're trying to appeal to people half your age and younger. Please evolve or move on and start a family.

Beyonce:

Before stans try to crucify me, I say this for a reason. Beyonce should retire because there's nothing left for her to do in music. She has three hit albums, 7#1 singles, 16 grammy's,and lots have fans. There is nothing left for her to do. I think she should retire before she becomes a shell of her former self and give Jay a baby. Speaking of Jay...

Jay-Z

Jay is still hot but I feel like he should pass the reigns to Drake. Jay is 40 and too old to be rapping to 15 year olds. He already has Rocnation with acts like Melanie Fiona and Wale. It's time to go behind the scenes and guide careers.

Lil' Kim:

We respect you Kim but it's time to let Nicki have the barbie ish. You're 40, let it go. Your time was late 90's early 2000's. How will you relate to kids who were in utero when you were hot? Let the feuding go and find something else to do.

Diddy

I will be real, I never liked you much but I respect the hustle. Diddy give it up. I know you like the spotlight for yourself but you can't rap. I think it's time to let go of performing and actually work on giving your artists a chance.

Bow Wow:

When you become the industry joke, please hang it up. In your day, you were hot but now everything you do flops. No one respects you and the tantrums don't help. Go away and come back grown.

Christina Aguilera

Same thing that happened to J.Lo happened to Christina Aguilera. She got married, became a mom, took some time off and is trying to reclaim her spot. Sorry Christina, Lady Gaga already took it. Hang it up and do something else.

Bottom Line:

The entertainment industry is a cruel industry that retires people before they're 30, sometimes before they're 20. All I'm saying to these artists is save face and pass the reigns.
