Celebrate You: You vs. You

Last week we talked about you saying negative things about yourself, this week we're going to talk about you standing in your way. Think about this. You're running a race and you hear a voice telling you "you're not gonna make it" "what are you doing here?" "Just quit before you embarass yourself." Then you look and see it's only you and the track. The person saying these things to you, was you. The only person trying discourage you is you.

If you have a dream, go for it. Don't let you stand in your way. Yes, people may tell you no or may say negative things about you but you know you can do it. Let them tell you no, don't tell you no. You never know what you can do until you try. Don't be a slave to fear. The bible says in Romans 8: 15: For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship.[a] And by him we cry, "Abba,[b] Father." When God adopted us, he took away that spirit of fear. That spirit comes from the devil. God wants you to know that you can do all things through him. God gave us his spirit. He is full of confidence, wisdom, and promise. God knows the things he has for us. God can do all things and we have that spirit. We should be full of confidence. We are the children of he who created the world. Don't be afraid and don't tell you no. Get out of your way and let God work.
