I am by no means "team breezy" or even a casual Chris Brown fan, but I need country singer Miranda Lambert to take a seat.
This week Miranda Lambert decided to protest against the Grammy's allowing Chris Brown to perform twice and awarding him a Grammy. Okay. Isn't she 3 years too late? And what does it have to do with her? We've all heard the stories of Chris Brown and Rihanna spending time together and them reconciling. So. We all feel some kind of way about domestic violence and friends in dead end relationships but that is Rihanna's life and the only person who should have a problem with what Chris Brown did is Rihanna. If she was able to move past what happened and allow the restraining order to be lifted, then why can't the world move past it? It has nothing to do with Miranda Lambert and she needs to have a seat in the corner.
I agree with Chris when he said that race plays a factor in it because didn't Charlie Sheen try to kill each of his ex-wives and a girlfriend or two? Didn't Woody Allen marry his adoptive daughter? I could go on forever and while people bring up these things, they don't stop these men from racking up awards.
I think Chris has a lot of growing up to do but if Rihanna wants to reconcile with him after what happened, then we should be happy for her.
