Rich Girl Problems

I thought this was a lesson we learned from Diary of a Mad Black Woman afrter Charles put Helen out of their house without a penny to her name. I guess not. When will kept women, and men, learn to protect themselves. A lot of people sign prenuptial agreements because they don't want to be seen as gold diggers but they fail to protect themselves in the process. Pilar obviously didn't learn the lesson in gold digging 101: make sure it's in your name.

Marlo and Kim, from the RHOA, both learned this lesson and have profited very well off it. Marlo has an Aston Martin and house in her name, while Kim had a house, cash, and was able to keep furniture and other things for her new home. While, I wouldn't want to live like a child having to ask for money for basics, people who live in this arrangement should protect themselves.

Pilar is now complaining that Deion is trying to stiff her on the clause in the prenup that says she gets a house that's worth half of the one they live in and that she has to beg for money. Sorry, Pilar, that's on you. She should have taken the hint when Deion filed the first time and recanted. That would have piqued my interest that something was amiss. I heard that Pilar was planning to move for weeks, so if she's planning to move, why wouldn't she have money set aside? Women have secret accounts for this reason. There is nothing wrong with transferring money to a secret account to protect yourself and your kids in case anything happens. Excuse me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't Pilar have money from reality shows and acting? If she doesn't, then that's on her too. I doubt that Deion would allow  his children to be destitute. He may be trying to avoid giving Pilar money but I believe that if the kids really needed something, he would find a way to make sure the kids have. Why must divorces be so messy?
