Congrats Kourtney and Scott

I guess this shoots my Scott having a vasectomy to hell. Kourtney and Scott are currently expecting baby #2. I wonder how Kris Kardashian Jenner feels about this. Last season on KUWTK, she wanted Kourtney to get married before having baby #2, and she had a big fit about it and even tried to plan a ceremoney in their honor but Kourtney shot that down saying her and Scott were happy, except that Scott said he wanted to be more traditional but that's neither here nor there. I wonder if that will be a story line next season? Or if Kourtney will agree to marry Scott and make their family "official"? Well see. Anyway, congrats to Scott and Kourtney.

My Thoughts on Love and Hip Hop

  • I know Chrissy has a reputation as being real or being a down chick but Chrissy is toxic to Jim Jones and his livelihood. She doesn’t get along with his mother, his manager, his best friend’s girl and I have seen him get into fights over her. The mother is like ehh but when a woman doesn’t get along with the major people in her man’s life, that’s an issue of epic proportions.  It’s not them, it’s her. Chrissy has cost Jim money with Yandy and Somaya. The real reason Chissy didn’t want Somaya working with Jim is not because she isn’t talented, it’s because she was threatened. Let’s be real, Jim Jones last hit was 3, almost 4 years ago, he can’t afford to let Chrissy’s insecurity rob him of his livelihood. He needs all the opportunities he can get. On another note, why is Chrissy trying to fight everyone at 40+, she is too old for that? Have a seat in therapy, next to Emily. While she works out why she is chasing after someone who has publicly denied her, you can address your need to fight.
  • I've already said my peace about Emily but she needs a big jug of that courage juice that Draya drank before the BBWLA reunion. Everyone walks over her and she does nothing. Although I kind of cheered at the toast she gave Kimbella because she kind of showed a backbone, it was in poor taste because she's not the one she should be mad at. When people say you're the nicest person they know, it's not generally a compliment. It's a nice way to say you have no backbone.
  • Olivia and her delusions of grandeur. Yes, she may have been in the industry for ten years but she is in the same position she was in before. She has had hit records but she just moved out of her parent's house at 30? I’m beginning to think it may be time to do something else. She signed to J. Records, couldn’t pop, she signed with G-Unit, which was the hottest hip hop label and couldn't pop, she couldn’t pop with the reality show momentum, heck you’re barely on the show. You lack the "it factor" to be a major star and it may be time to get a real job or look into songwriting for others. You’re pretty and you can sing but you're missing that stop and stare factor. Olivia puts me to sleep. Her trying to have beef with Somaya is DOA. Let it go. I also want Olivia to retire that blonde hair. She's had the same hair for 10 years and it's old and tired. Maybe a new image will help revamp her.
  • Somaya is another one I can’t see making it. She’s already ruining relationships and she just doesn’t have "it." She needs a make over. She’s too big and her face is too hard for what she is trying to do. I’ve seen pics of her and she looked really pretty but this look isn’t it.She looks like Elvira and that isn't a compliment. Less is more. She needs to get a new manager because Maurice isn’t it either.
  • Who did Teairra Marie sleep with to get on this show? Has she ever had a hit or been remotely interesting? Pretty, yes, talented, yes but a star, no. Ask Olivia, pretty and talented girls are a penny a dozen, it's about that "it" factor that she and Olivia are lacking. I see that Teairra Marie is being messy by taking Emily to Kimbella's party but unless she’s spilling Jay-Z tea, I’m not interested. Next.
  • Kimbella. We already know she’s a hoe, what more do we need to know? She’s not interesting,  except for the fact that she slept with Fab.
  •   Yandy. I believe that if Yandy wasn’t interested in Jim, she woudn’t be there after 7 years. Jim is not hot right now. His last hit was in 2008 and he still performs Ballin,’ which was from 2006. Jim Jones is all but washed up and the way he was acting over $25,000, I can tell he needs all the money he can get. Also, She may have said “my money” but that’s what he is. He is how she feeds her family. What does Yandy owe Chrissy? She can dance to Mama Jones’ song if she want to. Chrissy needs to get over it. She's doing too much and she needs a chair.
I would be shocked if this show gets a season 3. It seems to have j

Woe is Me Part 5694785

Are we supposed to feel sorry for Kim that she's 30 without a husband and kids? If so, I missed that train. Last year, Kim was on People, wearing her best sad face about how she thought she'd be married with kids by now and now she's in Glamour magazine telling that same story. I guess I'm going to have to give Kim the same speech I gave Emily B. You're smart, successful (depending on who you ask), you're pretty, the envy of men and women, and very rich, so what you don't have a husband and kids. I bet there are a line of women with a husband and kids lining up to switch places with you.

I don't buy the woe is me. I believe that Kim wants the life she has now but she wants to have a husband and baby to drag around. Kim has no intention of slowing down her life to raise kids or be a wife. In more than one of her arguments about Kris, she yelled about having her "career" and a family. Her relationships have ended because no one wants to deal with what she deems her "career." What man really wants to be followed around with a camera all the time? Reggie, Miles Austin, and Kris Humphries didn't want it and I'd love to meet the man that would want to do it. I actually think Kim and Scott should hook up. He'd be perfect for her lifestyle, except the fact he's had a secret vasectomy, which is why he and Kourtney are unable to have baby number 2. Scott is like furniture, he would go and do whatever Kim wanted. That's what she needs. She doesn't need someone like Kris with a real career and an opinion.

I believe that if Kim had a choice between kids and her career, she would pick her career. Kim's body is her bread and butter. Does she really want to ruin it by having a child? I also can't see her being stagnant enough to be a good mother and wife. Kim needs to stop the "woe is me" and be grateful for what she does have. I can list a bunch of blessings she has and I find her annoying. Kim please be quiet and stop messing with your face, you look weird and borderline un-human.

My Gift to Emily B

Emily B, I don't even watch your show and I know this is something you need. I am gifting you a therapists couch and free therapy sessions because you have some deep underlying issues. It's pitiful to watch you throw your life away over some man who has yet to claim you, in fact he has publicly denied being with you. I say this as kindly as possible, FAB DOES NOT WANT TO BE WITH YOU.  He doesn't want to wife you nor does he want a family with you. You're not his girlfriend; you're in house sex. He barely wants you around. He didn't show up for the family picture nor did he answer your call. When you left did he go out of his way to change or show you that he cared about you? When you got back with him did he show that he was going to claim you or did he call and that was that? You are his ole' faithful. He knows that he can do what he wants and you'll take him back with no questions. He has denied you and cheated on you multiple times and you're still there.

He has no respect for you, you have no respect for you, I doubt if your kids have a lot of respect for you, and America has little respect for you. You look pathetic and it's time to move on. I doubt Fab was in his house with a drink, staring at a picture of you while crying. No, he was living his life and hardly thought about you unless it was in relation to your son. Move on.I'm going to pass you Draya's cup of courage, you know the one she started sipping on during the reunion, and maybe you'll get a clue and some self esteem. You're looking very pitiful. I want to slap you and get you some handling school classes. You have a lot going for you. You actually have a career, you seem like a good mother, you're smart, and pretty; I'm sure if you opened yourself up to it, there would be a line of men wanting to date you. Let him go. Also, you're a fool if you give up the design opportunity over someone who barely cares about you. This was your dream since you were 13 and now you're running from it? Don't do that.

It's Been Real and It's Been Fun

Hermain Cain, I say this with love, please exit stage left. I never thought you had a real chance of being president anyway and I doubt anyone in America took you seriously. The only viable thing I've heard from you is the 999 plan and even that had more holes than a shooting range. If someone asked me what you stood for, I would stand there with a blank stare because I don't know. I guess I'm supposed to support you because you're black but I don't know.

The reason I want you to exit stage left is because it's clear you're not fit to be president. I'm not even discussing the six women you have accused you of sexual misconduct but because you don't know how to play the game. When the allegations were first brought to light, you had an entitled attitude as if the media and voters had no right to ask you about them. That's not how it works. As president of the free world, you are under constant media scrutiny. Every bit of your life and the people in it and heavily scrutinized. I don't know how you felt that your dirt would stay hidden. On another note, if you were to become the second black president, depending on who you ask, you wouldn't be able to handle the scrutiny that President Obama receives. You crack to easily under pressure. Also, you need to learn the game of hush money. It's not that I think you're rich but the reason that these things are coming back to haunt you is because you didn't pay enough to make it go away. I will bet anything that your opponents have just as much dirt but they paid the right price to make it go away. You had a 13 year affair with someone who has nothing to lose. Your mistress is a poor single mother who is losing her house. You mean to tell me that you couldn't give her something? Anything? You are not fit for the cut throat world of politics. They are slowing chewing you up and it's so slow that you don't even realize it. By the time you realize what has happened, your reputation and family will be ruined. Leave while you still have something left.

Kourtney and Kim Take New York thoughts

This isn't going to be a weekly thing but I figured since I have been beating the dead horse known as Kim Kardashian's marriage, I should give my thoughts.

  1. I need commentators to stop asking why did Kim's marriage fail, and I say Kim's because it was never about Kris she just needed a husband so she wouldn't look crazy marrying herself. We know why it failed. It failed because they didn't know each other; they barely liked each other. They barely knew the basics and at one point stopped tolerating each other. They're like oil and water. Kim loves the spotlight, while Kris doesn't care for it. What exactly did Kris think he was getting himself into?
  2. Why in the world would Kourtney think it was okay to do nude yoga, in the living room, when she lived with 4 other people, including her son? No one wants to come home to a bunch of nude strangers.
  3. Why are newly weds living with another family? How does that make sense? It's difficult learning another person but to have to learn 3 other people, who wants to do that? I agree with Kris, he doesn't want Kourtney and her nudist yoga and why should he have to awaken at 6 a.m to Mason playing. It's rude and inconsiderate.
  4. I never thought Kourtney and Scott would last. I think they're living on borrowed time. They're tolerating each other because without each other they're irrelevant; they are each other's story line. I think Scott and Kourtney will ride it out as long as the show is on the air, maybe have another baby, then separate. Scratch the another baby part because I think Scott secretly had a vasectomy, he barely wants to be a father let alone a father to two babies. Also, Scott wants a more traditional relationship, i.e marriage, while Kourtney just wants babies.
  5. How long were they actually married before Kris decided to go back to Minnesota? Was it a week, 2 weeks? Did the check even clear? Was the ink dry on the certificate? You can see they didn't even care about their marriage. Kris was quick to give up on trying to make it work and Kim didn't even flinch or get up when he left. It was like a relative who overstayed their welcome leaving. Oh wait, they get better send offs.
  6. I wish Kim and Kris would decide if they love or hate each other. It's very contradictory. In one scene Kim stated that Kris never compromises with her but in another he stated that she was happy he was so supportive of her career. Which one was put in place to make Kim seem like the victim? This story line makes no sense. One moment they're in love and the next, they're fighting about trivial things. If Kim does the editing, she needs to let someone who knows what they're doing create a continuous story line and just approve it.
  7. Do viewers really need to watch two months of this to see where this went wrong? I can make it simple. Kim and Kris agreed to get married for money, Kim and Kris barely knew each other, Kim and Kris barely liked each other, Kim and Kris got tired of pretending and Kris left, Kim calculated the cost of staying married and Kim decided it would be more lucrative to divorce but Kim miscalculated her move and it backfired.

RHOA S4 E4

Not too much happened this episode, so this rundown will be fairly quick.

  1. I love the shade that NeNe threw to Kim. It was obvious shade because we know that Kim is a hoe but it was still shade.
  2. Why do Peter and Cynthia insist on opening businesses? It's clear that Peter is broke and he, and Cynthia, have no business acumen, that is why his businesses fail. And if Cynthia gives Peter 1% of a penny, the bit of respect I have for her will be gone. Peter doesn't want Cynthia as a partner but he'll gladly take a $40,000 check from her? Where does that make sense? Really, Cynthia? The only thing she should give him money for is to pay his tuition at someone's business school because he needs some tips.
  3. Peter and Cynthia's sister, whose name I can't remember, barely deserve a bulletin because that fight was boring. Yes, they were wrong for hiding the marriage certificate but Cynthia was acting like she was a death row inmate, not a fiancee. I also think Peter is a bit dramatic in saying that's what he remembers when he thinks about that day. Okay Peter. Yes, they hid the certificate but you got it back and the day went off without a hitch. You should have discussed this months ago and not on TV.
  4. The more and more I watch Phaedra on this show, the more I wonder who would hire her as a lawyer. She says this person is a character but I am not so sure. Why did she agree to do this show? Greed, to up her image? She looks foolish and dense.
  5. It took me a minute to fully wrap my head around this issue but how do you learn to give yourself oral pleasure but the real question is why do you feel that is a talent you need to learn? Also, why is Phaedra representing him? I also need NeNe to drop the boughetto act like she's never seen a stripper before.
  6. I feel like Phaedra should have apologized to Kandi's mother for the stripper debacle. It was her idea to bring the self pleasuring stripper to the party and it was unfair for Kandi to take the heat. Phaedra should have womaned (yes, I semi made up a word but you know what it means) up instead of hiding in the corner and waiting for Kandi's mom to leave to talk to Kandi.
  7. I do believe that Kandi's mom was doing a lot with the stripper reaction. I would have been shocked too if a stripper began to pleasure himself in front of me but still, she was doing too much especially since her and Kandi have been in the company of strippers together. Just saying.

Ochocinco and Evelyn

Raise your hand if you thought Ochocinco and Evelyn Lozado were interesting enough to have their own show? Anyone? Apparently our opinion doesn't matter because they're getting a Vh1 spin off about their upcoming wedding. VH1, and everyone involved in this foolishness, gets a side eye.Remember a few months ago, when Evelyn publicly threatened to walk away from Basketball Wives LA? Apparently it was a negotiating ploy because Evelyn negotiated more money, less filming time, and a spin off. Evelyn has also negotiated filming between Ochocinco's games and her daughters school schedule. I don't like to talk about people's parenting because I'm not a parent, but let's state facts. Why didn't she have this deal before her daughter went off to college 3,000 miles away? Evelyn was partying, having dinner, causing drama, sleeping with people's husbands, having wild flings in Las Vegas, flying all around the world with no mention of her daughter. She was living the life of a single woman and now that her daughter is in college she wants to negotiate more time with her? Okay, Evelyn. I'm guessing that's a PR move to make her look better after the Tami situation. I don't believe you and you need more people.

I don't doubt that whatever Ochocinco and Evelyn has is real but like her daughter Shaniece said, third times the charm. There's a reason why Evelyn has been engaged three times but has yet to walk down the isle. The ring is like the NFL franchise tag, you like that player, they're good for your team and you want to make sure no other team gets them, so you slap that franchise tag on them which is your insurance that they're your for a year. I'd be shocked if Evelyn and Ochocinco actually get married.
I hope Evelyn negotiated some money for Ochocinco because he's about to be unemployed. Ochocinco is so busy trying to be an "entertainer" that he's neglecting his duties as a wide receiver. Although he's toned down his antics,  he needs to produce real numbers for the Patriots or his time in Boston is going to be real short. They've already cut Albert Haynesworth and the only reason they've kept Ochocinco as long as they have is because Tom Brady and Bill Bellicheck like him and support him. The Patriots are not the Bengals, they don't have time for him to warm up. They're one of the best teams in the NFL and it seems like he is taking up space on their roster and their pay roll. There's only so long that Tom and Bill can vouch for him before a choice has to be made.

Side note: why did they freeze Ochocinco's sperm and not Evelyn's eggs. Her eggs have a time limit, his sperm doesn't. According to Sex Ed 101, as long as a man is alive, he will continue to make sperm but a woman is born with a certain amount of eggs. Freezing the sperm was a waste of time and money.

Rights, Priviledges, and Responsibilities

I remember as a child counting down the days until 18. As a child and emerging adult, I hated the fact that I was under my parents rule. It felt like I was in jail. Looking back on it, I see how privileged I was. As a child, you have privileges but no rights and no responsibilities. What were my privileges, you ask? For one, I got to live for free. I didn't have to worry about making choices about my rent and other bills; I knew we had a roof over our heads, I knew our lights would work, I knew there would be hot water, I knew there would be food. If there wasn't, I didn't have to worry about how to make these things happen. I woke up and everything was how it was supposed to be. As an emerging adult, I gave money, but I didn't know the extent it took to maintain a household. I was able to pay minimal living expenses and still have money to shop.

Now that my emerging adult days are over, I realize how privileged I was. I was too focused on not having rights, that I didn't realized how privileged I was. Now I have rights and responsibilities, the privileges have to be earned. Funny how that flips. When you're younger, you're automatically privileged. Things are given to you because you're you, as an adult, privileges are hard fought. You have to earn the right to go shopping or to have something extra. Remember, when you were younger, how you got a pass on everything? Those days are over,  as an adult you have a responsibility. No longer can you fiend ignorance. You are an adult. As an adult, you  will more have responsibilities than rights. In fact, any rights you do get will be tied in with your responsibilities.
You have a responsibility to make sure bills are paid, a roof is over your head, that anyone you have assumed responsibility for is taken care of, you have a responsibility to make sure there's food, that there are lights and water, to make sure you work hard so you can have all these things. There are responsibilities.

I find it amazing that everyone wants rights and privileges but few people want the responsibilities that come up with them. The main point I want everyone to take away from this is: just because you can, doesn't mean you should. That list you created when you were a child is not doable as an adult because you have responsibilities and your parents are unable to take the fall. You are now your responsibility.

More Thanksgiving Randomness

I keep trying to get away from this blog because I have stuff to do and only a few hours to do it, but this is too much to pass up. In the words of one vlogger, Ludacris is pulling a Lil' Kim. Don't know what I'm talking about? Last week, Ludacris put out a diss record aimed at Big Sean and Drake because he felt like he wasn't getting enough credit for implementing a certain rap style. I don't care enough to google the exact cause of the beef but Ludacris felt that Big Sean and Drake weren't giving credit where credit was due. Big Sean and Drake were basically like, what did we do to you? I kind of agree with them. I am an avid blog reader and did not see any sparks of beef between Big Sean, Drake, and Ludacris. As far as I know, his name hasn't been in their mouth. I believe Ludacris may have heard something that he deemed offensive, but I also believe that Ludacris needs publicity. Yes, I said it. Ludacris is not irrelevant, he's doing acting and he has some business deals, so he's doing things but his rapping has fallen off. His last big hit was, "My Chick Bad" and I forgot how long ago that was. No one was checking for Ludacris until this beef with Big Sean and Drake. Here is the video for "Badaboom." Draw your own conclusions.

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving or day off depending on your religious beliefs. I wanted to leave you with this Charlie Brown gif only because I like it and I know for some of you, it will represent your feelings about today.  Anyway, enjoy your thanksgiving and I will talk to you later. Mwah.

Side note: I rented A Madea's Christmas and it was the longest play ever. I think it went on for 3 hours and at first it was funny but then I started fast forwarding through parts I deemed unnecessary. I like Madea but Tyler should have shortened it. There was too much going on. I swear there were like 5 sub plots. He took every plot that people ever liked and put it into one play. He should have shortened it by an hour and kept it simple. That's my .02.

Messiness Alert

Although this is juicy, and I will be keeping up with any developments, I wish people would stop putting their business out on Twitter. Matt Barnes, Gloria Govan's ex-fiancee and the father of her two kids, recently took to Twitter to air some dirty laundry.

In May Gloria and I decided to separate in the best interest of her career. I foolishly agreed to portray that we were still together. For her upcoming season of her show on VH1. As recently as August we decided to revisit a joint statement of our separation, but Gloria asked to delay making our separation public for the interest of her show. It is ironic now how Gloria is trying to manipulate the professional relationship between Eva Longoria and myself as the sole reason for our separation, when she knows we split up in May.
The reason why I broke my silence a month ago was because of the on going “affair” she was having with a now former FRIEND of mine. Again, I wish Gloria nothing but the best, & I will continue to keep our beautiful children as my first priority. Thank you
Gloria has a career? I thought her career was being Matt Barnes's eternal fiancee. I'm not being messy, I'm just stating facts. The only reason we know who Gloria Govan is is because of Matt Barnes. No one really cares about Gloria, people barely care about Matt. Sorry, it's the truth. I wanna know what professional relationship could Matt Barnes possibly have with Eva Longoria. What could he do for her career besides give her publicity? I want Gloria to have several seats because no one cares about her, she doesn't have a career. She was barely on Basketball Wives LA. I can't see Gloria making it as a reality star turned actress. Nothing pops about her. Word on the street is that Gloria is an undercover hoe. Some of her conquests reportedly include, The Game and Gilbert Arenas. Yes, that Gilbert Arenas.

On a random note, whenever I saw Gloria and Matt together, he always looked like he wanted to get away. I never felt radiating love between them, more like radiating convenience.

Replacing the Fourth Wall

A funny thing has happened to celebrity in the last two decades. There was a time when one had to be a triple threat to be considered a star. If you couldn't sing, dance, act and weren't attractive you couldn't be a star. There was no personal drama or famous for being famous to sustain a star. The tables have turned. It is not enough to be talented, now one has to be just as interesting or more interesting than talent. Stars like Kim Kardashian have maintained their high profile by making their lives an open book. Kim and her family have put their innermost personal moments on their reality show and they show no signs of stopping. Kim and ex-husband to be Kris Humphries reportedly made $18 million off of their 72 day marriage. Stars like Beyonce, who have been notoriously private about their personal lives have resorted to giving bits of their personal moments to fans. Although Beyonce is still private, she has spoken about her marriage to Jay-Z, her pregnancy, and has even offered fans some insight into private moments. It seems Beyonce has realized that her talent cannot sustain her in a world with stars like the Kardashians.

Although I like to watch these moments, I want celebs to replace the fourth wall. In sitcoms, the fourth wall is the invisible barrier between the audience and the performer. It's what made the audience believe what was going on. I don't wanna know everything about celebs. Like I said before, although I like to watch these moments, I believe some things should be private. There's a reason why reality shows break up relationships and families. It's hard to sustain a relationship or life without privacy. We need privacy. The truth is, I don't want to know everything about a person. It's good to have a measure of mystery. There was a time when we needed to believed our stars were without flaws, now we have to believe they are flawed. We like drama and we like to watch people fail. Why is it okay to wish harm on a public figure?

Some people need to say no to reality shows. Finding out how a star really is is like finding out your parents are flawed. You don't want to know everything about your parents because it ruins the allure and respect you have for them. Same with stars. I watch their shows and cringe. Then I wonder if they thought the show would help their brand. I have heard more than enough stars say they regret their reality shows because of how it portrayed them. Say no to reality shows. I have yet to see one that showcases a person in a great light. They need to find another way to keep the spotlight and replace the fourth wall.

Random Thoughts

  1. Tyler Perry committed the second epic fail of 2011, the first being Kim Kardashian's marriage, when he hired Kim Kardashian for his newest play turned movie, The Marriage Counselor. We all know the reason why he hired her, he admitted that she has one of the biggest followings but he didn't admit that he hoped they would see his movies. Let's be real, Tyler Perry may be the highest paid man in Hollywood but he can't be king of the chitlin circuit forever. Tyler Perry is very accomplished within the black community but he is still craving that mainstream success and respect. He hoped that Kim Kardashian's followers would follow her to the movie, which the may but the truth is Kim Kardashian is a joke in her own right.
  2. I wonder if anyone really loved Michael Jackson. I know his mother and his kids loved him, but when you become that successful, I'm sure more people loved Michael the pop star than Michael the man. When MJ died, people sold pictures of his private time, photos of his kids, and sold stories that should have been private. It hurt my soul to watch the people he trusted betray his trust like that. Since Michael died, he's the most profitable pop star in the world. Anything with his name on it automatically makes tens of millions and it's sad to see everything bearing his likeness or his music. I want them to let the man rest in peace. MJ didn't have peace in his life, can he at least have some in death?
  3. Whenever I see the o.co commercials, I wonder how lazy are people that they can't type overstock.com?
  4. Can we stop with this dying young stuff? Really? I'm tired of people wanting to die young. What happened to the time when people wanted to be old enough to have actual experiences?
  5. I can't believe I'm semi-agreeing with Kim Kardashian but Kris Humphries needs to accept that the Kardashians used him and move on. There is a story circulating that Kris plans to file a $10 million dollar lawsuit against whoever is involved with the Kardashians show because they're re-editing to make her look like the victim. Kris, I say this with love, but you could not keep up with the Kardashians in any, way, shape, or form. The Kardashians are on another level that you are not made for. I don't think you can sue for how she's portraying you because you signed off on it, which means she gets to use your likeness in any way she sees fit. If I were you, I would move on and worry about making some money during the lockout and improving your game so a team will pick you up once the lockout ends. I wouldn't be concerned about how teenage girls and women with no life will think of you.

Really Jackie

This qualifies for the wreck of a life. My fashion motto is: there's no wrong way to have style. But this is all wrong. I don't need to see the rest of the dress to know that it is a disaster. This dress does nothing for Jackie except make her look nasty. The key to great style is fit, this does not fit Jackie at all. There's nothing cute about a dress being so tight that your arm fat spills from the dress. This dress is an epic fail and I need her to fire or hire a stylist because this isn't it. I've included some dress ideas that may be flattering on Jackie and will give her that chic look she desires. Please make sure it fits before you step out in public and do your arms like that.

Basketball Wives LA Rundown

I didn't do weekly thoughts/recaps like I do with the RHOA and BFV because I don't care enough about the Basketball Hoes of LA but now that the season is wrapped, I can give you random thoughts.
  1. This is the first thing that really piqued my interest, and it's not blatantly obvious but what happened with Gloria and Laura?  For Gloria to go so hard for her sister, who if I'm not mistaken is several years older than her and can take care of herself, they hardly interact. Whenever they're in a scene, it's with their mother or the other girls and even then they hardly talk to each other. In this season, I think they had one scene together, if that. I also thought it was weird that Imani had Laura's stuff in her house but Gloria with her big house, didn't help her sister out. When the original Basketball Wives first started airing, the big drama was with Laura sleeping with Shaq and that Gloria was her sister, in an interview, Shaunie said that she was shocked that Gloria went so hard for Laura considering that Laura didn't really like Gloria and talked about her like a dog. Take that tea how you want.
  2. Imani forgot where she came from. Imani did too much with her hatred of Draya. She called her worthless and just insulted her. I think it's because Draya clocked Imani's tea, she called her out, when they first met and she didn't like that. When she said Draya would never have a house, I thought the only reason you have a house is from sick ducking, decipher it on your own. Most Basketball Wives pretend to be real estate agents or models but I have never heard Imani claim to have any type of job, so how did she get a house?
  3. Why did Jackie do this show? Is it because she wanted to dispel rumors that she's crazy? Is it because she wanted to prove she was the first lady of the NBA? Why did she want to do this show? All this does is confirm her insanity.
  4. I wish I could ask why Draya did this show but I know why she did it, she needed the money. The women went so hard on Draya when they had so much dirt. Imani had a son that she abandoned to run after her man, Jackie has a daughter that she all but abandoned, Laura should have been all but invisible, she has more dirt than everyone at the table, if Draya wanted to read someone, it should have been Laura: she slept with Shaq, she has 4 kids no commitment, her baby father abandoned her, it just goes on, and now it comes to light that Gloria is an undercover hoe. None of them have room to talk about Draya just because she's been open about her exploits. She could have easily read all of them.
  5. Why did Draya feel that she had to justify herself to these women, who she has never met and who has never paid a bill for her? She should have told Imani to have a stadium full of seats. Yes, she  left her son in a poorly kept house while she was stripping, but the only person she owes an explanation to is her son, not these bitter women.
  6. Why is Gloria trying so hard to be Shaunie 2.0? I understand she wants things but girl. Also, how did she convince Matt to let the show portray the break up like it was her doing? We know that Matt can drop Gloria and pick her up anytime he wants. She is ol' faithful, you know the one he can always call and she'll be there. The only reason she's pretending not to care about him is because he has found something better in Eva Longoria. She won't hear from Matt for a long time.
  7. Jackie and her 17 weddings. I almost forgot about her crying about her mom not being able to attend her what 20th wedding. Doug was her third marriage, so she's had 20 weddings. Her mom has seen her get married 20 times, something was fishy about that. Turns out Jackie was playing it up for the cameras. I would have stopped attending her weddings years ago, maybe I would have went to the reception for the food and the party, but I don't need to see her and Doug renew their vows every year.
  8. Jackie, I say this with love but NO ONE WANTS DOUG. He's a retired, semi-bench warmer basketball player. He wasn't MJ, Kobe, Lebron, Magic any of these people. Yes, he made some nice money but he's not all that. In fact, he's more famous for your exploits than his court skills. I also heard he was bounced around so much because no one really wanted to deal with you. That's an issue. Jackie, do us and Doug a favor and release the leash because no one is checking for him.
  9. This wasn't apart of the show, but Jackie said that the reason her daughter disliked her was because she was jealous of her other daughter who was light skinned. How did she convince herself of that? It seems a lot deeper than light skin/dark skin issues and no one believes her.  According to her daughter, Jackie was so busy running after Doug that she abandoned her and her family, including the mother she cried so hard for. Jackie is phony.
  10. Is this Survivor? I didn't know the girls had the power to vote someone off the island, literally and figuratively. They think they voted Jackie off the island but anytime the person you're banishing makes you wait 10 minutes while they order a drink, you've lost all your power. Jackie isn't worried about you. Bet, she'll be back next season daring them to say something.
  11. Who is this Gossip Girl character they have calling everyone relaying she said-she said information? A vlogger said it was Suzie, which wouldn't shock me, but it's more than likely a producer. There's this mystery person calling various cast members relaying gossip like, Draya was talking about Laura's kids and Jackie's shenanigans. This is such a blatant attempt at creating drama, I'm surprised more people can't see through it.
  12. I almost forgot about Laura's kids. Not really her kids but in a round-a-bout way. First, who was watching the kids? Laura was a single mother with no income, who was watching her kids? How did she get the luxury of shopping and going to nice dinners while her four kids were heaven knows where? Second, Laura gave birth 3 weeks before the show started filming. Yes, three weeks. The doctor usually recommends 6 weeks before doing any strenuous activity but Laura was fighting and paint balling right after delivery. Again, shouldn't she be spending time with her newborn baby and her other kids, who are going through a difficult time now that they've moved 3,000 miles away from their and dad is gone without a trace? Not to insult anyone's mothering skills but that's not exactly mother of the year material.
  13. Word on the street is that Laura and Draya share something besides this show in common. The blogs are saying that Gilbert and Draya used to get it in and that's the reason Laura doesn't like Draya . Gilbert paid Draya $20,000 in hush money, I'm guessing because she was underage and because he's the father of her son. Another thing they have in common is poor negotiating skills, Laura because Gilbert keeps putting her out without a pot to piss in and Draya because the ball was in her court, she could have, and should have, gotten a lot more than $20,000.
  14. Since the last 3 points have been about Laura, let's end with Laura. If you keep up with this show, you'll know that Laura and Gilbert are now back together and getting married. Well, he gave her a ring. I hope Laura learns something from the last time Gilbert abandoned her and their kids. I hope she takes some of that shopping money and opens an account so she'll have a cushion to fall back on when he leaves her again. Yes, I said again. The last time Gilbert put her out wasn't the first time and I'm sure it won't be the last time. The only way he would change is if there were real consequences for his behavior and there probably were none. I'm sure she was so happy not to have the burden of supporting five people on her own, that she happily hopped a plane to Orlando. Gilbert doesn't love or respect her because if he did, he wouldn't abandon her and her kids. He would be too afraid of losing but there is no fear of that because she's proven that he can do as he pleases and she'll still be there.

Beyonce Finally Addresses Her Stans

This is a day I thought would never come, Beyonce has actually acknowledged her stans. I 've said it before and I'll probably say it again, Beyonce Stans bother me. They're delusional and they defend her like she was paying them. I knew that she had to know about them because she reads the blogs to keep up with whats being written about her. Here is the quote, with the relevant text in bold:

Oh, my God, First of all, I see all of my super fans in the audience when I’m in the audience performing because they’re doing the choreography harder than me. Some of the fans were like “B, you better put me in this DVD!” So I made sure I did. It’s really a special bond and it just makes me so proud because sometimes I try not to because it will drive you crazy but if I run across something on the internet my fans are like…….. Sometimes I’m like ‘tone it down’ but it’s just really beautiful and I honestly from the bottom of my heart give everything that I can give. I’m always thinking about all of the fans.

If you have been keeping up with urban entertainment, you know that Beyonce stans are some of the most ruthless stans out there. They're like lions, they lurking in the shadows for someone to make the mistake of saying or writing anything about Beyonce that is less than total admiration. All artists have "super fans" but Beyonce stans take it to the next level. In the last 3 years, they have threatened Keri Hilson, stalked Necole Bitchie on Twitter,  insulted India Arie because she didn't like a Beyonce song, mocked Aaliyah's death, and wrote Jennifer Hudson a tweet that went something like this "at least Beyonce gets to hug her nephew" which was in reference to Hudson's slain nephew. The user was cursed out by Hudson and banned from Twitter. After this interview, I bet Jennifer Hudson got flowers, a phone call, a text, something as an apology for what the stan did. Beyonce stans are delusional and they take it too far. They need help and they needed to be stopped a long time ago.

I love the classy shade Beyonce gave her fans. She called them crazy without calling them crazy.

AMA Recap

Here is my recap from the notes I took on the 2011 AMA's. The award show was like any other award show, cute but typical.

  1. Why did Nicki Minaj wait until halfway through the show to finish her make up? When she accepted her first award, I thought she looked off but when she accepted the second award, I realized she forgot to do her make up. She had half eyelashes, no eye makeup,  and no lip color. The dress was cute, she actually looked like a person and not a live cartoon, but the shoes were a no-no, she couldn't walk in them, and she would have looked better with a black wig. Nicki looks like she forgot she was going to an award show and she just pulled something together. I also understand that she couldn't walk in her shoes but she could have gotten something better than this tennis shoes or sneakers.
  2. I need Justin Bieber to meet with an image consultant because that look he has going on isn't working. He looks like a lesbian. While he's there, take Joe Jonas with him. They're always close but not quite there.
  3. Why does Adam Lambert look like a human Jack Frost? The pointed hair and the silver suit are not it. And what was going on with the coat? He's another one who rolled out of bed an hour before the ceremony and pulled something out of his closet.
  4. Katy Perry looked like a country star from 3011. What was going on with that look? I didn't know she played guitar, kudos to her.
  5. I'm over Taylor Swift and her Miss America humility. At every award show, her speech begins with "I had no idea I was going to win," really Taylor? I'm all for humility but this is getting old. She has won at every award show she has been to. She needs to find another act.
  6. Mark Anthony was looking good. He's been doing big things since his divorce; new music, new television roles, and a new look. Dare I say that the black on black with the aviators and the facial hair looked good on him.
  7. When I see Robin Thicke I normally want to put him to bed Ala J. Holiday, now I literally want to put him to bed.
  8. J.Lo's performance screamed desperateness. She's like the old b^*%h in the club that is past her prime, who probably should let it go, but she has to prove that she still has it. The performance went off well but she was doing the most. From the product placement, the overly eager grinding on Pitt Bull, and the Britney Spears 2000 nude body suit, the performance was too much.
  9. Was Beyonce's speech pre-recorded or live? She has that pregnant brain going on, she didn't quite know what to say, she was stumbling over words, she had a couple awkward pauses, and she just looked vacant and tired. If it was pre-recorded, they should have stopped and let her start over, if it was live, she should have written something down and rehearsed it.
  10. The guy from One Republic needs to go to the Matthew Knowles school of singing live. He needs run while he's singing, I really thought he was going to pass out.
  11. I like Enrique Iglesias performance. It was simple yet well put together.
  12. Christina Aguilera and that dress wasn't it. The dress was cute but if she wanted to dispel rumors of her weight gain, she took the wrong approach. She should have went loose, yet fitted instead of tight. The dress looked like a gown for a woman who wanted to show off her pregnant figure. It accentuated her stomach and it was all wrong.

RHOA S4 E2

  1. Yay Leon and Cynthia. I really like the relationship that Cynthia, Leon, and Peter have. Like Cynthia said, there’s a mutual respect and everyone stays in their lane. Leon understands that Peter is Cynthia’s husband and Peter understands that Leon is Noelle’s father and everyone stays in their respective places. People should take notes on this.
  2. Kim’s wig. I don’t understand how celebs have $1500 weave and it’s a mess. I know people with $10 yaki that looks a million times better. I know Kim said she gets a new wig daily but girl, ask for a refund because those wigs are not the business.
  3. I get the feeling that Apollo spends more time with the baby than Phaedra. She doesn't know her baby's cries at 11 months but Apollo does. Something isn't right. She should know his cries as a mother. Also, Phaedra just screams new money. Everything is extravagant for no reason. The funeral was too much. It’s a funeral not a Mardi Gras procession.
  4. Do I have to state the obvious? Sheree is building a very expensive house. According to my research, they make about $100,000 per season. Sheree doesn't have too many side deals, so how can she afford to build a very expensive house.
  5. Kim and Sheree and their “ I've never lived in a used house” as far as I know, Kim hasn't had a real job in a decade and She by Sheree hasn't gone anywhere. They’re awfully bourgeoisie for women who don’t have anything of their own. I also want to know Kim’s trick because she is not pretty enough to be a mistress. She’s not ugly but she isn't arm candy.
  6. Phaedra please stop talking. Everything she says sounds dumb and ill conceived. She's upset about Cynthia and she said she was mean to her but from what I can recall, Phaedra had Cynthia’s name in her mouth more than Cynthia did. She said her butt looked like a pretzel with cream cheese on it and now she calls her husband Uncle Ben and Papa Smurf. Phaedra is throwing rocks and hiding her hand. I’m sure Phaedra is a decent lawyer because she has the rewards but this show makes me wonder.
  7. I've never bought Kim as a mother. I’m not saying she’s a bad mother but she’s so self absorbed to be a really good mother. Her kids seem to do as they please and they seem like they have little to no discipline.  Maybe I’m old school, but Kim’s daughter’s baby shower speech was very inappropriate. It crossed the boundaries of what a child should know and be able to say to an adult.
  8. Apollo, Phaedra (because she was the instigator, and Peter, Kim’s baby shower was not the time or the place for that. If they had something to settle that bad, Phaedra has Cynthia number because she called her, Peter and Apollo could and should have settled their dispute at another time. On another note, Kim I think you forgot that you’re on RHOA, there’s no such thing as a social function without a fight.
  9. On another note, where did the Phaedra and Cynthia beef come from? I know I addressed it in point 6 but last season, they seemed okay. Not the best of friends but cordial. You know the, I see you, I speak to you, you speak to me, we may talk at a party or if we're in the same vicinity, sit together and share a drink or a meal but not cool enough to have anything outside of that. If there was a real problem, why did Cynthia call Phaedra? And why did Phaedra answer if she disliked her and Peter that much? Also, why didn't Phaedra handle it right then and there if she had that much of a problem with that Peter said? So many  questions, so few answers that make sense.
  10. Did Kim’s father really all but ask Phaedra for a job at Kim’s baby shower? Hey, anyway to get it.
  11. What is that on Phaedra's neck during confessionals? It's ugly, pointless, and looks like a neckbrace but I bet it's name brand and expensive.
  12. This is a bit of next week’s episode but why did Cynthia marry Peter? It just seems odd. It’d be different if it was odd and they actually loved each other. I don’t see any love there. Cynthia really didn't want to marry Peter, she cried like it was a funeral and Peter treats Cynthia like a child. He doesn't want her to be his business partner but he wants her money? He also talks to her like a child. Something seems off. I can't see this working long term. I don't even know if I see this working next year. It's missing that basic mutual respect that it takes to have a long term partnership.
  13. Also, where is this new woman, it's episode 3 and there's no mention of her at all.

My Thoughts on Braxton Family Values S2 E2

  1.  Tamar looks good. I love the hair and make up during this week's commentary. She looked dare I say, human.
  2. I'm beginning to think Towanda is just as crazy as Andre. I understand you want to be an actress, but you don't have any income. While you're making your dreams come true, you need to eat.
  3. Why is Towanda trying to figure out what to do about Andre? He is a grown man, who can figure out what to do about himself. Next.
  4. Go Traci. I'm all for Traci's beauty school/salon goal. Her sisters admitted she was talented and so shouldn't she go for it. Is she supposed to wait around for this album that will never happen? Everyone else is taking their destiny into their own hands, why not Traci? I don't think it's a pipe dream. I think Towanda's acting is a pipe dream but no one told her that. Tamar's album is all but a pipe dream. I think Traci has the most realistic dream. It's been 20 years and the only one who has made any real leeway in a singing career is Toni, it may be time to do something else. I feel like they don't want Traci to be anything. They're used to her being beneath them and if she exceeded them, I don't think they would be able to handle it. They're threatened by her. I find it real shady that Tamar is trying to sell her a singing dream that isn't going to happen. They know it and she knows it. They're trying to hold her back.
  5. I have to read Tamar on the Maryland thing. I'm from Maryland and I cannot let her talk about my state like that. Yes, Maryland may not be an entertainment hub but Maryland is not the hick state she is portraying it to be. Maryland has a lot of opportunities and I'm sure Traci's salon will thrive, if done right. Maryland is the richest state in the union, yes I said richest, boasting 2 out 5 of the richest counties in America and the richest African American county in America. Don't sleep on Maryland. If Traci wants to stay in Maryland, let her stay in Maryland.
  6. I feel like I'm watching Tamar and Vince unravel. She's naggy and immature and I think he's over it.
  7. Can Toni retire the blonde hair? I like the black hair, it does more for her than the blonde. The blonde is annoying and it washes her out. Please burn the wig and never speak of it again.
  8. Why is Towanda acting like she has anything else to do besides be Toni's assistant? I know I keep beating this over the head, but really? As far as I know, she hasn't been hired for anything so she's just laying around Trina and Gabe's house. Yeah, I think she is as bad as Andre.

My Gift to Andre

I've only watched ten minutes of this week's "Braxton Family Values" and I already feel the need to give a gift. This bench is for Towanda's loser husband, Andre. In the first few minutes, Towanda informed him that she needed to go to LA to train Toni's new assistant, he promptly threw a tantrum in which he said, "when is someone gonna think about my needs."

Really Andre. It seems to me that too many of your needs are being met. You've been writing a book for years that is probably never going to see the light of day, you don't support your family, Towanda is the man in your relationship, you're living with Trina and Gabe, you don't contribute to that house hold then you complain that they don't have the type of food you like, you're in the middle of a divorce but nothing has changed, I could go on and on but I won't. I hate to call people losers, because you don't know why they are where or how they got there but you are a loser. You are the epitome of a loser. You have been given everything and you have not made an effort to earn anything. You have no desire to earn anything. You have a lot of nerve to complain about anything. You need to sit in the corner and be incognito. If Towanda was smart, she'd hope in a plane, with the kids, in the middle of the night, a la Gilbert Arenas, and leave you behind. She doesn't have to carry you and frankly, I believe she's insane and a little special, and not in a good way. I think the only reason she's telling you to get a job is because America thinks she's crazy for supporting you.

I want you to sit on this bench, with the wanted ads, and think about your life. You're a loser and you should be embarrassed. When the bus comes, you hop on it and find a job. Loser.

P.S.: you get the basic bench until you get a job and upgrade it yourself.

My Thoughts on the Kardashian Backlash

Do I have to become Chris Crocker? Leave Kim Kardashian alone. Don't take this as me becoming soft on the Kardashian's or me even liking them. I think Kim Kardashian is annoying. I hate watching her whine about trivial things like a room being too big, her losing a $75,000 earring, her psoriasis, which was easily covered up with make up, and her on People with her sad face crying about her lack of marriage and kids. I find Kim annoying and I guess everyone else does too because her screen time on KUTK is very limited. One episode she was on there long enough to tell her mom Rob was sick. I would rather watch Kourtney and Scott. Kourtney is my favorite Kardashian. I find Kourtney to be more down to earth and taking everything in stride than anyone else. I also love her style.  Maybe Khloe can make an appearance. I like her realness.

Back to this Kardashian backlash. I find it a bit ridiculous. The survey is pointless because the only way the Kardashian family will be cancelled is if people stop watching. The Kardashian's have made E! so much money they could afford to buy Kim, the Jenners, and Kourtney and Scott new houses. I also heard that some of that $18.5 million was %30 of advertising revenue. If Kim and Kris were/are getting $15 million off of revenue alone, imagine how much E! was getting. Kim better enjoy that $18.5 million because if she wants to salvage her "career" she needs to lay low. I also suggest that her and pimp mama Kris learn from this and think before profiting off her personal life.

This is the only time when the Kardashian's have miscalculated their move. Every move so far has moved America's attention from Kim being an amateur porn star to her being America's sweetheart. Kris has succeeded in making the Kardashian a household brand. The family hasn't had any slip ups, public scandals, and everyone has been on their best behavior. With the exception of Scott, who had an interesting fourth season and time in Miami, Khloe who went to jail for DUI, and Rob's loserness, the Kardashian's have been a regular family. These scandals were those that made you roll your eyes and name someone in your family who has done these things. You rooted for the Kardashians. Heck, you even liked them because they seemed normal.

The problem is that the line between normal and "reality" has faded. If you watched the sixth season of KUTK, you see Kim and her mother slipping more into their "reality" fame. Kris has become less of the doting mother trying to keep her family in check and more of the "momanger." Bruce reminded her that her time with her younger daughters is severly limited and Khloe or Kourtney boycotted a meeting because the only time they talk to her is about business. Kim is just annoying. In her interactions with Kris, you can see that she has lost touched with reality. People feel duped by the short marriage. I don't know why. The only person who should feel duped is Kris. We found out he was getting divorce before he did. He probably found out by one of his friends, or family members texting him and asking if he's okay. That's who should feel duped. Everyone else can have several seats in a stadium. If you don't like the Kardashians, don't support them. Don't buy their products or watch their show. If you do continue to watch them, take it for what it is, pure entertainment.

Married By Default

Watching Chrissy on Love and Hip Hop and the Govan sisters, Laura and Gloria, on Basketball Wives LA,  gave me a revelation. These women have one thing in common, they're gonna be married by default. Let me break that down. Chrissy, Laura, and Gloria have been with men for over 5 years. Laura and Gloria have multiple kids with said man but said man is still on the fence commitment wise. Chrissy has been open about the fact that she has made all the first moves in her relationship with Jim Jones. She even proposed to him, to which he said "I'm with you." I'm still trying to figure with that means. This season, little has changed. Jim has lost has ring and Chrissy promptly replaced it and he gifted her with new earrings. She still doesn't have a ring. She doesn't have the Beyonce "If you like it" ring, she didn't have a promise ring, an engagement ring, a thank you ring, an "it's Wednesday" ring, an "I saw this and it was your size ring." Jim has gone out of his way to avoid buying her a ring. I don't know if he wants to marry her and is scared or doesn't want to, but something is fishy and it isn't the fish. You have Laura, whose baby father Gilbert Arenas, has put her and her now 4 kids out of the house numerous times. Last time, he left her pregnant, alone, and penniless. He didn't even say bye. Now they're back together and she's flashing a ring. Okay. Then Gloria, who publicly called off a wedding with her kids father, Matt Barnes, and is now going through a very public break up. As messed up as these relationships are, I believe that all these women will be married by default.

Married by default is when the man realizes that he's not going to get any better than you, that you've stuck around all these years and he better just marry you. I know some people are scratching their heads wondering why that's a bad thing. It's a bad thing because you essentially wore him down. He put his hands up and said "fine." It doesn't mean he loves you, it means that he realizes that you've been his bottom chick. The person you are with cannot fully commit to you because he/she, because it can be women too, believes that there is something better out there. They will continue to string you along for months, years, decades, and I'm sure it would be centuries if people lived that long, until they find the better. Most people after a while, shrug their shoulders and decide this person will do. That's why people who were together for decades without marriage divorce after months or years marriage. This was never the person that they wanted and they settled. It'll never be right because they never wanted you.

Can people change and realize you're the one? It's happened but that's the exception. That's something you see in the movies. After years of the girl waiting in the background, the guy realizes that she's the one and they get married. In real life, if the guy, or girl, hasn't realized how amazing you are in 5 years, chances are he doesn't think you're that amazing. It's best to move on and find someone who does think you're amazing. If you still want this person, wait around. After they've finished sewing their oats and realize that you're the best they're gonna do, then you'll get married. You'll be his default wife. Who wants to win by default? You want to win because you're the best not because you're the best he can find.

My Gift to Kris Jenner

As acknowledgement of your recent dedication to foolishness, I would like to offer you, as a gift, M&T Bank Stadium. It's in downtown Baltimore, off of 95 or 395 and very hard to miss. I want you to fly into BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport with Kim and promptly make your way to the stadium. I want you and your daughter to have all 69,000 seats. That's 34,500 seats each.

Why do I want you to have so many seats? A, for the foolish and lies you have been trying to sell America for the last 4 years and B, for you calling E! to tattle on Joel Mchale every time he makes a joke about your daughter's sex tape. Yes, I said tattle. I don't care what Kim has supposedly accomplished since she methodically leaked the tape in 2007, she still got her start from being Paris Hilton's bag holder and leaking a sex tape. I have to give credit where credit is due, Kim used Paris, took notes on her empire, and made an empire that's bigger and better. I also want you to have a seat for looking like MJ 2.0. No shade to MJ but shade. I  recently saw a picture of you leaving LAX and you looked like Michael in his last days with short hair. No lie. I need you to control that.

We know why I need Kim to have a seat. I need her to stop trying to convince the media that she married for love. Maybe that's not a lie. She married for love of money not of Kris Humphries. I said it before, if she loved him, he would have known she was filing for divorce before TMZ. Just saying. I truly believe that Kim couldn't care less about Kris Humphries and the only reason lines of communication are open is for him to keep his mouth shut. It's all but been said that the only person Kim cares about is Kim. She needs to have all the seats, twice.

P.S Kim, no Ravens players are included in the stadium.

Random Thoughts

This post is a series of random thoughts that are too short to make into one post.

  1. Dear Christie from Love and Hip Hop, I am forwarding you a copy of the book "He's Just Not That Into You." Read it cover to cover and read it again, then pass it on to Emily and have her do a book report on it. If Jim Jones really wanted to marry you, he would have. It doesn't take 6 years for a man to decide if he wants to commit to you. I think the only reason Jim, and Fab with Emily, allow you to live with them is in house pussy and to keep you quiet. Jim Jones has no intention of marrying you, let it go.
  2. The Govan sisters deserve an eye roll. Laura, Gilbert Arenas has put you out of his house numerous times. Last time he left you pregnant, alone, and penniless. If I recall correctly, he didn't even tell you he was leaving. This seems like "cheaper to keep her." He can't possibly love you and you can't possibly love yourself because the first time he left me, that would have been my hint. Did he even apologize? Did he offer an explanation? I bet he showed up, dropped his pants and you got to work. I also bet he told you to get your stuff  and come to Orlando and you happily obliged. Gloria, I know you believe you are Shaunie 2.0 but Matt is not going to marry you. He has two kids with you and has lived with you for years and he just decided to commit to you? Girl, bye. Like I told Emily and Christie, it doesn't take a man 6 years to decide if he wants to marry you. I also believe that your parents want you to stick with the sorry men you and your sister have because they know you have no money and they have no desire to have your combined 6 kids in their house.
  3. Kim and Kroy. I think they're cute and but I feel that she trapped him.Yes, I said it. If you recall the initial stories, Kim and Kroy were just having sex and Kim got pregnant, Kroy didn't want the responsibility so he left. Kim went crying to her lesbian lover, Tracey, who comforted her but when Kroy had a change of heart, she dropped Tracey who in turn sold her story to a tabloid. That's how that happened but kudos to Kroy for stepping up and agreeing to give Kim half his money and checks for the next 18 years marrying Kim and making her an honest woman. There's a reason why women like Kim Kardashian and Kim Zolciak are going after younger men because I'm sure Kroy didn't know about Kim's gold digging just like Kris didn't know about Kim's marriage and sex tape. Still giving him the side eye on that one. Am I the only one who found it weird that Kim was comparing Kroy to Big Poppa and what man would want their baby mamas ex boyfriend's furniture in their house. He didn't want "The Ring Didn't Mean A Thing" as a ring tone but he wanted Big Poppa's furniture. Okay. I'm sure that Kim is comparing Kroy's wallet to Big Poppa's wallet.
  4. Jerry Sandusky must think we're idiots. He's innocent but he was found by 3 different people in the shower doing inappropriate things? One time peaks your interest, twice lets you know there is truth to the allegations and three times is too much. He's guilty. His pattern for grooming his victims was too consistent. He's guilty and should plead as such.
  5. In keeping with the Penn State Scandal, I'm glad Penn State is opening their wallet and starting a fund for the victims. They're guilt and there's no way around it. Their negligence allowed this to continue. They're going to have to pay hefty settlements. Also, am I the only one who thinks that Mike McCreary isn't getting fired. Do I think he should be? That's up for debate. I think there's more to the story than they let on and there's a reason that Mike McCreary still has his job. I'll leave it at that.
  6. Herman Cain needs to hang it up flat screen. I didn't think that the establishment would allow two black men to be president in a row and I was right. Say what you want about the allegations but like what I said about Sandusky, five is too many to ignore. You're unraveling too fast. It's time to retire those president dreams.

Happy, Whole, and Satisfied

Marriage was not designed to make you happy, satisfied, or whole. If you go into it for any of the aforementioned reasons, you’re in for a rude awakening.
I saw this quote a while back and since I'm not married, I decided to remove the marriage part and make it life or anything in it. In fact, marriage can be replaced with anything. Further in the article the writer said,   "marriage is work personified." I ,again, removed the marriage and left the beginning word blank.

We often wait for that proverbial day when we have everything we want to be happy, satisfied, or whole. We often begin sentences with "wait until I get..." Or wait until we cross a certain milestone to go after the things that we feel make us "happy, satisfied, and whole." Life is work personified. Anything you want in life requires extra work. You should be grateful that you woke up in your right mind, your legs work, you can see, hear, walk, and talk. The fact you even woke up is something to celebrate because that's more than life was obligated to give you.

We know too many people who are married, successful, and wealthy but are still searching for something. They were lost before they found these things and are more lost now that they have them. You have people who by the world's standards should be happy, whole, and satisfied but they found themselves miserable, broken, and unsatisfied. The ability to be happy, whole, and satisfied is an internal condition. You have to decide you want it and accept it.

I feel sorry for my generation because we've been tricked into believing that we can buy happiness, satisfaction, or wholeness. We've also been tricked into believing that things come easy and hard work is overrated. The truth is, as hard as we've  been trying to find a substitute for hard work, we can't because there is no substitute. To be successful in anything, marriage, life, career, etc, you must put in the work. Also, for you to enjoy the result of your hard work, you must already be happy, satisfied, and whole. All of those things come from the inside.

Puzzle Pieces

Our life is like a puzzle. I just read that in my Forest Gump voice lol. We never see the big picture until we're done. In order to unlock the pieces, we must be actively participating. It's like a video game, in order to get the codes, new items, and to get to the next level, you must master the level you're on. The amount of time it takes to get to the next level varies. Some are master gamers, who put their all into mastering the game they're playing-hence the term master players, and more passive players who play intermittently and master the level in months or years. Only when you're actively engaged will you have the experiences that open the box that contain your puzzle pieces. We often throw our puzzle pieces away because they're not how we imagined them, they seem not to fit, or they're ugly. Only when we have all the pieces can we see the intended picture. It's impossible to do that if a piece is missing because it was discarded. All experiences, beautiful or treacherous, can turn into a beautiful picture if we're patient.

Bank Of America Rant

(luxuo.com)

Bank of America is really trying it. For all those not accustomed to Baltimore high school slang, that means when someone or something does something insulting or demeaning. Bank of America has really tried it for months. First they charge $5 debit card fees and now along with the state of South Carolina, Bof A is charging fees on unemployment. Of course people are outraged. You have people who depend on every dollar of their unemployment benefits to survive who are losing money. BofA is not broke by any means. They cry broke as a justification for laying off thousands of people and charging astronomical fees but make no mistake, BoA is the fifth most profitable business in America. Not bank, but business.

The rachetness that BoA is involved in now is taking fees from unemployment benefits. Writing that makes me upset. It's like how dare you? These people make half of their salary and can barely scrap by on that and now you want to take more? When I worked as a cashier, I noticed that 60% of the debit cards were BoA cards. I made a mental note of it because of the $5 debit card fee, which they have revoked because of bad PR. BoA's greed is remarkable and should be noted. They have charged fees for crappy customer service. It's amazing what they get away with. BoA's interest is a joke. They charge $11 in bank fees and credit the account a penny. It's a joke and it's insulting. They should keep the penny.

I think I may have to go the old school way of banking and hold it myself. In fact, I think that may be smarter. Yes, it won't gain interest in your home but the interest is a joke. Yes, there is also chance that you may be robbed but either way you're getting robbed. The difference is the robbers take it all at once and the banks take it bit by bit and once you realize you've been robbed it's too late. The banks, and big business, depend on the inertia of people to get away with things. The more proactive you are, the less chance you have of getting screwed.

My Thoughts on Braxtons Family Values

  1. Can someone tell me how old Tamar really is? According to wikipedia, she is 34, soon to be 35 but I think she's closer to 14. I would have said 24, but as a 25 year old I know people who are 20 times more mature than Tamar. She is an immature child, who really needs to grow up. How does Tamar demand respect but rarely gives it. She is a child in a woman's body and she has a lot of growing up to do. I applaud Mama Braxton for threatening to slap the piss out of Tamar. I don't care how grown she is, she is rude and very disrespectful. Someone needed to put her in her place. I bet Tamar won't walk away from her mother again.
  2. Andre, Andre, Andre. Can someone tell me how old he is? He's acting like a teenager too.Can we put him and Tamar in a room until they grow up? I really need Towanda to get a clue. There is no reason why your husband, who is an able bodied middle aged man is being supported by another able bodied middle aged man. Andre has been working on the same book for years. He has yet to publish a word or contribute a penny to the household. You are essentially homeless and he is okay with it. He is not a man and he needs to leave. He is mooching off you. He doesn't love you, nor does he care about you. If he truly loved you, he would have handled the situation. Also, I know the basic rate for reality stars is $3,500 and you had ten episodes that's 35,000 and I'm sure he got paid something. Factor in your salary as Toni Braxton's assistant, appearance fees, bonuses, and anything else you've been paid and  the price of real estate in Atlanta, you could have gotten an apartment or rented a house. I'm just saying. Get yourself and your kids a place to live and let Andre look from the inside out. You're not obligated to take care of him. He's been smart enough to manipulate you for all these years, I'm sure he's smart enough to take care of himself and get a job.
  3. I applaud Gabe for seeing the situation for what it is. Don't take this one round of applause as I agree with Gabe on everything, but his in laws are moochers. They have no intention on helping to pay bills and why should he have to take care of grown people. The only reason Trina is all "that's my family" is because it's only been a month and she isn't sick of them yet. Let 6 months go by and she will feel the same way as Gabe.
  4. Can someone get me a violin for Traci? Really. I have heard this story so much I can quote it as she's saying it. I understand that singing is Traci's dream, but if she expects that chance through her sisters, she may die telling that same story. I understand that you understand that the chances of people buying a Traci Braxton album are slim, but they're doing their own thing and they're not worried about you. Ask Vince to hook you up with studio time and put out the project on your own. This allows you to cross something off your bucket list.
  5. Am I the only one that senses jealousy between Toni and Tamar? There was a time when Toni was the only noteable Braxton and now that Tamar is the most noteable Braxton, I don't think she knows how to handle it. I think this is why she fired Vince. Not because of any issues or her wanting to do her own thing but because she sees a conflict of interest with her sister being the star now.
  6. This should probably be in #2, but if Towanda wanted to be an actress so bad, why is she in Atlanta? I know that Atlanta is the hub for black hollywood but the jobs are still in LA. Maybe Toni fired her. Also, why do most reality stars feel that since they get paid $3,500 to act a fool they are qualified to be an actress/actor. I've seen this too many times. She'll get some roles in a few low budget movies and plays but as far as becoming Halle Berry, she can hang that up
  7. I think the Braxton sisters are a bit lazy. I appreciate that they're running with this reality show momentum but last season it seemed that Toni was carrying the Braxton sisters arnd was a bit tired of it. That's why she ran to LA and left them in Atlanta. Tamar ran her about being in Toni and Vince's shadow but didn't do much about it. She didn't want to sing back up, she didn't want to sign her contract, she didn't write songs, she didn't want to sing, she didn't want to listen to her husband. She just didn't. Everyone is depending on Toni and it wasn't right. I know Trina has a band and sang back up but she didn't seem to do much else besides drink. Traci is depending on her sisters for an album that isn't coming and Towanda just is. I think Andre's laziness is rubbing off on them. He has laziness to spare.

Random Thought Of The Day

This Penn State scandal brings a Buddha quote to mind: " Three things cannot be long hidden: The Sun, The Moon and The Truth." This scandal was has been ongoing for 16 years and is probably deeper than anyone can imagine. I didn't come here to preach about the scandal, I came to say the truth will always come out. It may take months, years, or decades but the truth will be revealed. The funny thing is, you don't have to do much to reveal it. When the truth is ready to be revealed, it will be revealed. It will be like an avalanche, everything that was done to hide it will be revealed and nothing will stop it.

An Open Letter...

(globalgrind.com)

Dear Kris Humphries Father, better known as William,

I appreciate you standing up for your son, and I think all of America agrees that what Kim Kardashian did to him was wrong, but the Kardashians do not care about you or your family. If you watch the wedding special, it's clear that you and your family were non factors. Kris Kardashian Jenner booked Rolls Royces for her family, friends, and a few media people and completely forgot about your family. I think the only reason you were invited to the wedding is because it's bad pr for the groom's family not to be invited. Your son was barely invited. The only reason he was invited was because Kim couldn't marry herself. If she could marry her reflection, there wouldn't have been a need to borrow your son. Yes, I said borrow because Kim had no intention on keeping him. He wasn't invited to the People photoshoot and he was barely included in the story. I think he was a photo caption. It was obvious from day 1 that the wedding was about Kim and not about your son.

Your son should be grateful that he dodged the bullet that is the Kardashians. Yes, they will drag him through the mud but America has a short memory, I think he'll recover just fine. He'll take his profits from the wedding foolishness, the hush money given to him, and live comfortably in Minnesota with some nice girl.

Although I have been, proverbially, beating Kim over the head, I do believe that Kris knew what was going on. As I said before, everything was too perfect, too orchestrated for Kris not to know. How is People there to photograph your proposal and engagement party? How does her publicist have her engagement ring? Something was fishy. I do believe that Kris didn't know it would be so short. I think he thought it may have been a year or so, certainly not 72 days.

Random Thoughts

I've been hearing about this Penn State scandal and it's disgusting. This cover up is absolutely sickening and I wouldn't be surprised if it reached the highest level of Pennsylvania government. Let's be real, Penn State is a multi billion dollar business, it is highly respected in all levels and the administration couldn't risk what is happening now but this is disgusting. When I read about the graduate student catching Sandusky in the act and the only person he contacted was his father, I was sick. How could these people, who witnessed these acts, look at Sandauky or work there. If I wasn't going to tell, I would have turned in my resignation with the request for a nice severance package. I wouldn't be able to work there. Let's see how this plays out.

Celebrity Worship

(The person who created this picture needs psychiatric help)

We have a delusion problem in this country. We worship people and things that are an illusion. People spend too much time worshiping celebs, who in actuality couldn't or wouldn't care about them. I'm about to go in on Beyonce stans. I don't know what it is, but Beyonce stans bother me. I understand appreciating an artist and their accomplishments, but they are delusional beyond belief. As one poster wrote on a blog, "just because she can dance, sing, and fling yaki like no other, she's beysus." Yes, someone actually named Beyonce Knowles, Beysus. It's like they are waiting in the wings for anyone to say anything less than blind admiration about Beyonce. They will pounce on the poster on whatever forum they are on. They've attacked people on Twitter, youtube, facebook, in person, and on various blogs. They are unstable and need help. The crazy thing is, Beyonce has never acknowledged these stans and if anything happens, she will quickly disassociate herself from them. Don't believe me? Try to touch one of her 16 Grammy's or a dime of her $80 million salary  and see if Julius doesn't manhandle you and Beyonce doesn't call the police.

Although celebrities show appreciation for their fans, their main focus is on themselves. That's why they are where they are. Instead of focusing on other people, they focused on their dreams and goals and worked towards them. I don't care what you say about your favorite celeb, if you look into their come up, you will find more than one person they used/stepped on to get to the top. No celeb is perfect. They're people. Sometimes what they have to do to maintain their spots is not pretty.

I've always wondered why people wanted to be famous. I understand wanting the glamorous lifestyle and being appreciated, but it doesn't seem fun. Once you're a public figure, you no longer belong to you. I saw a video of Beyonce crying about her fame on a recent documentary and at first I was giving her the side eye, but I realized it has to be hard. She lives her dream, is admired by billions of people, has hundreds of millions of dollars, and can't enjoy the simple luxury of going outside alone. I think about Michelle Obama's recent trip to target and note how a simple 30-45 minute trip that most of use loathe is a big production for her. Fame definitely has its price and many celebs have paid it with their mental or physical health and even their lives. If you said to a famous person, I'll take your fame, you keep as much fortune as you want, they would quickly take that deal. People imagine fame but it's not as it seems. It's living in a fish bowl. It can't be fun. As someone once said, I wouldn't wish fame on my worst enemy.

If you're going to admire someone, admire they're drive to make a dream a reality or their accomplishments, don't admire a faux lifestyle or superiority. As someone once said
